EUROPE TOUR COMING TO AN END...GOING HOME FOR OUR TOUR!!!

Hey everyone!

The last few days have been crazy. We were so busy but everything was great.

We had a great show in Berlin with Avril. The crowd was amazing and so many people now are coming that know that words to the songs. There were a lot of people that wore JB clothing and carried signs.

We also filmed several TV shows while we were in Berlin, including an outside concert on a boat parked right beside a large group of people. It was raining all day but stopped raining just in time for the concert. There was a HUGE crowd there. We watched and listened to some of the footage and it was cool.

We went to Copenhagen and had another great show on the Avril tour. There were so many fans waiting outside the venue after our show. They made us feel very welcome.

Today we got up really early and flew to London. We filmed a few things for online and for the record company here in Europe. Then we did one of the most amazing things we have done so far...

WE DROVE AROUND LONDON ON A DOUBLE-DECKER BUS WITH OUR PICTURE AND ALBUM INFO ON THE SIDE. WE stopped near Buckingham Palace and picked up a group of contest winners who road on the bus with us as we sang songs. Once again, there was a huge crowd of people running after the bus. There were so many people freaking out.

We ended the day at the HMV Music store. The store was packed with JB fans. It was fun to see the people from the label there with their mouths wide open and their hands over their ears. The shouts were so loud. We signed for 300 people that waited in line. They told us that there were a lot of people that had been in line since the day before. The wristbands were gone in 30 minutes.

As we were leaving there was a group of girls running after our vehicles. It will never grow old to us to see hundreds of screaming fans chasing our car AND the looks on the faces of people when our fans come around the corner running after our cars screaming. Totally crazy!

Tomorrow will be the last concert on this tour and then we head to Toronto to rehearse for OUR tour. We are so excited.

They’ve successfully won the hearts of ladies all over the US and UK and now it seems the Jonas Brothers have their sights set on the rest of Western Europe.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick brought their brotherly brand of rock to VIVA TV’s floating stage on the river Spree yesterday in the German capital city of Berlin.

And from all accounts, the Jonas Brothers are the biggest American act to hit Germany since David Hasselhoff, reportedly drawing quite a crowd of young screaming female fans.

Later today (June 26) the JB’s latest single “Burnin’ Up” is slated to debut on MTV’s Total Request Live at 3pm. The “Camp Rock” soundtrack debuted at #3 with 188,000 copies already sold.

As you know, Nick annouced that he has diabetes type 1 in the year 2006.

Now, read this:

"Nicholas is so self-sufficient," says his mother, Denise Jonas. "Even at that age he was quick to learn how to give himself shots... And I wanted him to take over because I knew I wasn't going to be around him all the time." The Jonases also have multiple back up systems in place behind the scenes; family members, assistants, and even the band's security team carry glucagon, fruit snacks, and an extra insulin pump.

Nick believes that managing diabetes has brought him and his mother closer together, stating that their relationship is "definitely stronger and more supportive... She is always watching me and caring."

With the huge success of Camp Rock this past weekend (bringing in 8.9 million viewers to their cable channel), Disney is quickly on its way to making a sequel for the TV movie.

The station is hoping to have the same success as with the first two High School Musical movies.

With a script currently in development, the sequel for Camp Rock will most likely aim for a production date in the summer of 2009.

With the exception of the Jonas Brothers, will the original cast come back for part two?

Well, if they're smart they will.

Disney means big bucks and mega fame with the kiddies.

Aside from the JBs, Demi Lovato is rumored to be returning for the sequel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the boys (and tween actress Demi Lovato) are expected to headline a Camp Rock sequel, aiming to air in late spring or summer 2009.

The Jonas Brothers and Lovato are also at work on their respective Disney Channel shows, J.O.N.A.S. and Welcome to Mollywood.

Camp Rock, their Disney Channel movie which featured several musical performances by the teen band, snagged 8.9 million viewers Friday night, making it the most-watched cable program this year.

The movie is a Cinderella-like tale where Kevin, 20, Joe, 18 and Nick, 15, star as teen pop stars sent to a prestigious rock camp. Actress/singer Demi Lovato, 15, co-stars as the poor-girl-with-a-booming-voice whom Joe flips over.

As big a smash as Camp Rock was, it didn't come close to last summer's juggernaut High School Musical 2, which debuted with 17.2 million viewers in August.

But the brothers don't have time to worry about that. They kick off their summer tour July 4 in Toronto and are developing a Disney TV series in which they'll play spies.

Hey everyone! It's Kellynn and I called up HMV today, as promised. However things didn't turn out as we expected. A staff from the head department told me that there are two possibilities. One, there might be a delay with the shipping of the albums from UK (cause Sony has some checkings to do). Two, they might not be having that collectors set in Singapore. I told her about the things I was informed on Sunday, she said that there might be a misleading piece of news given by her staff. Now we're thinking of ways to avoid the second option from happening. WHAT A WEEKEND!!!

Hey everyone!

We just got to our hotel after driving all night from Mannheim, Germany. This weekend we have been SO BUSY with shows and getting news from home.

The show in Belgium was amazing. The crowd was so pumped and felt like home. It was the loudest crowd yet and so many had signs and shirts. IT was encouraging that it was working here in Europe. We started hearing reports this weekend of SOS and the CD charting in some of the nations we have visited. Very exciting.

We drove to Mannheim and had a wonderful show. Our parents have good friends in Mannheim that came to visit. We spent time after the show meeting a huge group of fans.

The biggest news from the weekend was probably the Camp Rock news from back home. It was so hard to not be there during the premieres on Disney, ABC and ABC Family. We heard from family, friends, but most importantly...WE HEARD FROM YOU.

You officially made it wonderful for us. We read your comments and the posts to our last BLOG (now officially our largest blog to date). We watched YouTubes of all of you and your reactions to the songs and BURNIN' UP VIDEO. It made our weekend.

We heard about your Camp Rock parties. Some of you posted the parties online. We watched some of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We will finish this trip by the end of the week. Then we are back in North America to prepare for our BURNIN' UP TOUR. Get your tickets if you do not have them. We want to see everyone this summer.

The question was: Could three Jonases take down one Zac Efron? The answer was yes—and no.

Friday night's premiere of the Jonas Brothers-populated TV musical Camp Rock averaged 8.9 million viewers, the Disney Channel said today.

That's bigger than the original, Efron-led High School Musical, which debuted before 7.8 million viewers. But it's smaller—significantly smaller—than the 17.2 million who turned out for last August's return of Efron in High School Musical 2.

HSM2 stands as the most watched non-sports program ever on cable.

The Camp Rock premiere came at the start of what has been referenced as the summer of the Jonas Brothers. But even the seemingly all-powerful tween dream of a band couldn't find a way around an elemental law of the box office: Sequels, like HSM2, are tough to beat.

Judging Camp Rock's performance against the original High School Musical, meanwhile, is an inexact science. The Jonas Brothers are far bigger stars than Efron or any of his costars were in January 2006, when the first HSM premiered.

The true test of Camp Rock may come in its ability, or not, to play and play and play again, à la the HSM movies, which dominated cable ratings even as relatively aged reruns.

Camp Rock's shelf life gets its first test tonight, when it re-airs on ABC. On Sunday, it comes to ABC Family, and then on a computer near you, starting Monday, via Disney.com.

In the trio's just-released video for their new song, "Burning Up," the boys have some fun with a few pop culture action figures, with Nick channeling James Bond, Joe doing the whole Miami Vice, pastel thing, and Kung Fu Kevin learning a thing or two from—who else?— David Carradine.

Naturally, a Disney star, in this case, Selena Gomez, makes a cameo as a Bond girl.

The Jonas Brothers act out their wildest movie role fantasies in the video for new single Burnin’ Up, with films such James Bond, Miami Vice and Karate Kid being re-enacted.

Youngest of the band Nick is first up with his 007 dream – He races in on a speedboat and beats a villain in a game of cards.

Next up it’s Joe’s turn and he dons a handlebar moustache, white suit and aviator shades for his Miami Vice role as he chases the bad guys.

Finally, eldest sibling Kevin indulges in some kung-fu action for his segment. After successfully karate chopping a plank of wood, he athletically beats a gang of enemies by spring-jumping into the air.

The Jonas Brothers, action heroes? Just call them Bonds – James Bonds.

The video for "Burning Up," their first single from their upcoming CD A Little Bit Longer , debuted today with a bang – literally.

In the video, Nick Jonas fights bad guys and dodges danger as a James Bond-style villain while Kevin does kung fu and Joe sports a mustache playing a Miami Vice clone.

Fellow Disney star Selena Gomez – who has been dubbed the next Miley Cyrus – makes a cameo as Nick's Bond girl, and actors Danny Trejo and David Carradine also make appearances.

Even the group's bodyguard, Rob, is in on the act – grabbing the microphone and rapping a few lines as the group sings poolside.

A Little Bit Longer debuts August 12th and the trio's made-for-TV movie, Camp Rock premieres Friday night on the Disney channel.

Their single from the Camp Rock soundtrack, "Play My Music," is currently the sixth most downloaded song on iTunes.

Regarding to Camp Rock 2:

“That we could be in it?” Joe says. “Something like where they have to shut down the camp. Maybe winter camp?”

Kevin, 20, adds, “I’m thinking camp in Hawaii. Anyone else feeling me? You’ve gotta come visit. I have the 'in!'”

Spending most time in front of the mirror?

Nick says it’s Frankie.

“I think we all do a pretty good job with it, making sure we don’t take too much time,” Joe says.

Nick chimes in, “Joe is always like, ‘does this look good?’ and I’m like ‘yeah, it looks fine.’”

Joe adds, “He’s a good stylist when it comes to decisions. I’m like ‘Nick, does this look good? Can you work with this?’”

Kevin says, “During soundcheck, when we’re doing vocal warm-ups, we sit in front of the mirror because we want to look good onstage.”

And and, the weirdest thing Kevin said he had eaten is actually one of our Singapore delicacies! HOWEVER, he likes it :D

“I had a stingray,” Kevin says. “They pinch the meat on the side, and then they flip it over. Great stuff. That’s OK to say, right? (Yes.) It’s not an endangered species or something, or I’d get in trouble.”

They had an interview with one of the Camp Rock cast, Jasmine Richards and of course, once again, they asked her about the Jonas Brothers. Guess what Kevin did?

But it was 20-year-old Kevin Jonas who still has Richards in a swoon. In a key scene, her character picks up a guitar and sings her heart out. Richards had to look like she knew what she was doing. "He gave me guitar lessons on set, which was awesome. I mean, how many girls can actually say, 'Hey, Kevin Jonas taught me how to play guitar.' "

Camp Rock Preview!

Good day to everyone! We have some really cool news for you! First things first, Kellynn, Eunice and I (Atiqah), are invited by the press and Disney Singapore to catch the preview of Camp Rock this coming Thursday, 26th June 2008! We are very excited at this amazing opportunity and we definitely do not want you to miss out on this event! On the day of the preview, Kellynn and I will be doing our 3rd VLOG and you can expect some tips on the movie and a summary or review of the movie itself and maybe, just maybe, a little surprise from us!

JB in Amsterdam

Hey everyone!

We had an amazing concert in Dusseldorf, Germany yesterday. The crowd was amazing.

We drove 2-3 hours and now we are in Amsterdam. It is a beautiful city. Today was a DAY OFF in Amsterdam. We went for a long walk with our family and saw a lot of the sights. There were so many people out shopping because it was a beautiful day.

It is 1 day from the premiere of CAMP ROCK and our new video BURNIN' UP! It is hard to believe that 2 of the things we have worked so hard on will be out there for all of you to hear and see tomorrow. We really hope you like it. Please let us know!

Also, we wanted to let you know that the concerts in Anaheim, Ca on July 13th and 14th will be filmed for our upcoming 3D Movie. We will also be filming some stuff at the show at Irvine, CA on July 12th. We really are excited about this and hope that as many as possible will come out to be a part of the event. Who knows??? Maybe you will find yourself in our 3D movie.

HSM Was Big; Can Camp Rock Be Bigger?

So, 9-year-old girls are kinda looking forward to Camp Rock, huh?

To quote tween expert Denise Restauri, "Let me just say, omigod!"

All signs—and Camp Rock viewing parties—point to potentially record-setting ratings for the TV-movie musical premiering Friday night on the Disney Channel. The film, about rockin' music campers, as the title suggests, stars Barney & Friends alum Demi Lovato and, oh, yes, a little trio called the Jonas Brothers.

"The girls love the Jonas Brothers, and they particularly love Joe Jonas," says Restauri, founder of the tween-girl site AllyKatzz.com. "I won't say they don't love Zac Efron, but they love the Jonas Brothers."

Efron, for Joe Jonas fans with short, unforgiving memories, ruled the Bop/Tiger Beat world from 2006-07 as the star of the Disney Channel's High School Musical movies.

Now, though, it's the Jonas Brothers' turn. It is Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas with the No. 5 iTunes single ("Play My Music," from the Camp Rock soundtrack), the No. 11 Amazon album (the Camp Rock soundtrack, natch, which was released just two days ago), the upcoming concert tour, the upcoming studio album (A Little Bit Longer, out in August), the upcoming TV projects, and the 16.2 million Google results (compared to elder-statesman Efron's 11.1 million).

More than bullet points on a résumé—or a completist fan blog—they are indications that Camp Rock is about to head into, and benefit from, as Restauri says, "a perfect storm."

"It's pretty much guaranteed to be huge," says Tylor Skory, who has tracked the Camp Rock buildup through his new website for TV-viewing-party planning, TVPartyPacks.com. "It's mainly just because the Jonas Brothers are already so huge."

Skory would know. He isn't just a webmaster who's seen Camp Rock dominate traffic, he's also a 17-year-old with younger siblings who are inviting friends over on Friday night to watch—well, what do you think?

If it's a given that Camp Rock is going to be big, then the remaining question is, How big?

"Based on what the girls are saying," says Restauri, "it has the potential to outperform High School Musical."

The original High School Musical, which debuted in January 2006, before Efron or any of his Wildcat classmates were Jonas Brothers-size names, averaged 7.8 million viewers, then a Disney Channel record. The sequel, High School Musical 2, which premiered last August, scored a whopping 17.2 million viewers, then a cable record.

If the denizens of Camp Rock want to get really ambitious, then they'll train their sights on Tom Brady. Last December, an ESPN Monday Night Football game featuring Brady's then-unbeaten New England Patriots slipped past HSM2 to set a new cable record, with 17.5 million viewers.

No matter how many campers Camp Rock enlists, at least Efron won't have to worry about competing with the Jonas Brothers on his old Disney Channel turf.

Come the fall, the latest HSM, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, will open in movie theaters. And Restauri, for one, thinks fans of the franchise—and Efron—will be in line.

"I don't think it's going away," she says. "As long as you can keep entertaining these girls with the music and the allure…The girls really just want to be entertained."

In which case, as a programming note, Camp Rock repeats Saturday night on ABC and Sunday night on ABC Family.

Free Gig in London for Album Launch?

Pop trio THE JONAS BROTHERS are preparing for an unusual London launch for their new album - they're to play a free gig on the roof of one of the city's famous red buses.
The teen stars will put on the special performance on the upper deck of an open-top bus in central London on 27 June (08).
Their album A Little Bit Longer, which hit U.S. stores last August (07), is their third studio release - but will be their first in the U.K.

1st CONCERT IN GERMANY

Hey everyone!

Sorry we were not able to post a blog yesterday. There was not good internet access where we were staying.

We had our first concert with Avril in Germany yesterday in Munich. We had interviews all day long. We were also able to hang out for a while with our friend, Isabella. We met her at the Disney Channel Games in Orlando last year. She came over with a few people and then we saw her again today for interviews with the Disney Channel in Germany.

The concert was amazing. The people of Germany made us feel so welcome. We are looking forward to spending most of the next week in Germany and the Netherlands.

We got so excited this morning. We were told that Camp Rock is already Number 2 on ITunes in the US and a lot of the songs are moving up the charts.

Also, in the UK we found out that SOS (our first single there) is already at Number 12 for the week with several days left.

CNN: How do you keep that from happening to yourself? You guys are all very successful.

Joe Jonas: I think it's cool because we do this with each other and we are able to watch each other's back[s], and when somebody says something stupid ... we're like, "Psh, whatever." It's funny to play that role because it's not how we are in real life. I'm more the funny one in real life and for me to be kind of serious, and -- you know -- all suave, is kind of funny. It was a fun challenge.

CNN: I mean, you are the oldest right? You've got to watch out for the other kids? Your brothers here ...

Nick Jonas: Actually, I'm the youngest.

CNN: Oh, are you? I'm looking the wrong way.

Joe Jonas: [laughs]

CNN: So you've got to follow in their example; they've got to watch out for you.

Nick Jonas: You know, I think we each kind of have our leadership roles in the band, and we treat each other with respect, which is really important. And we're just having fun, so it's all good.

CNN: You guys obviously try to [be] a role model for other kids your age. How difficult is it to hold yourself up to that high standard and know that everyone is watching you and that some people are probably expecting you to fail?

Nick Jonas: We're just doing what we love to do, and we're trying to be the best guys we can be and make our mom proud.
