Jonas Brothers vs The Beatles?
Well, according to a blogger, it is the battle of the JoBros vs The Beatles:
My nephew, Micheal, was singing these lyrics the other day, “Hello, hello. I don’t know why you say goodbye and I say hello.” And I was like, I love that song, how do you know it? And his reply was, “Its the Jonas Brothers song for that commercial. Everyone knows it!”
Ummmmmmmm. Yeah. That was pretty much my response. What’s the world coming to when kids are singing Beatles songs, thinking they are by the Jonas Brothers. Oi vey. (FYI: its a Target Commercial)
Are you guys fans of The Beatles too? :)
Sellout Crowd At a JB Concert
Check out the craziness of the crowd at the Syracruse concert on Friday:
A sellout crowd of over 16,000 people squeezed into the Grandstand to watch the band Jonas Brothers perform Friday night – quite a change from their appearance in Syracuse last year, when they played in front of 600 people at the Palace Theatre in Eastwood.
Some fans waited hours before the show even started, just so they could be the first in line.
By the time the gates opened, the girls started trickling in, followed close behind by their eager parents, who may have been reminded of the concertgoing days of their youth.
Extra paramedics crews were called in for the sold out performance in case things got out of hand – but there were no incidents that required any sort of medical attention.
Paramedics say emergencies at the Fair have been rather low this year. Medics say it's always a good idea though, to have additional crews on hand - especially when you have so many people attending one large event.
They're such huge stars everywhere, but it's just amazing how they manage to keep a sense of normality. The Morning Call posted an article on their site, where you fans can get to read about what really goes on in "A Day in the Life of a Jonas Brother":
12:15 p.m. -- The official day starts with an interview with E! Entertainment Network at the Four Seasons Hotel, where the boys stayed. Taking longer than expected, it makes them nearly a half-hour late for a news conference with tour sponsor Verizon to announce a contest for a Bahamas vacation with the Jonas Brothers for buying Samsung phones.
''Hello, everyone,'' Kevin says as he enters a room packed with television cameras. They are well-coiffed and dressed casual chic -- Joe wears a black Trilby hat he won't take off, even while he exercises, until the show.
12:49 p.m. -- Several hundred fans have gathered outside the hotel, chanting ''Jonas! Jonas! Jonas!'' or singing Jonas Brothers songs. The brothers say that when they pulled into the hotel at 5:30 a.m., after traveling through the night from a show in Pittsburgh, fans already were waiting. They were told some had spent the night.
At their August 29th concert, a hot dog costume was thrown on stage. Joe puts it on and dances in it at 3:00.
Jonas For a Nanny
Mom Logic blogger Paul Starke is having nanny troubles, and while trying to find one-on-one care for their son, they cam up with their list of "THE 12 PEOPLE I WISH COULD BE OUR NANNY". Of course, the Jonas Brothers came up on their list:
7) The Jonas Brothers: My wife made me put them on the list to balance out #6. She loves those Jonas Brothers and their tight slacks. Whatever...
Tip: Jennifer (Mum Logic)
Who would YOU want to be your nanny? :)
Kids' Choice Award

A Jonas Triple Date?
That's what everyone's talking about now. Apparently, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Danielle, the boys' rumoured girlfriends were spotted at New York City hotspot Tao last night. From Just Jared:
Joe Jonas and rumored girlfriend, country superstar Taylor Swift, leave New York City hotspot Tao late Thursday night. The pair was accompanied by Joe’s younger brother Nick Jonas and his rumored girlfriend, Disney sensation Selena Gomez.
“Everyone looked really chummy,” one spywitness said of the JoBros and their rumored lady loves.
And get this, Taylor and Selena left Tao holding hands. Holding hands! Rumored girlfriends of the Jonas Brothers have to stick together!
WHAT DO YOU THINK is going on here with Selena, Taylor and the JoBros — DOUBLE DATE or JUST MATES?
UPDATE: It was a triple date! Kevin Jonas and his rumored girlfriend, Danielle, was there too!
Hollywood Scoop posted about it too, check it out here.

Sneaky!
The Jonas Brothers just posted a new video on their YouTube account.
Well, it seems like Joe's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was feeling a little camera shy when the boys made this video.
She didn't appear in it, but she was there!
If you look closely, around the 5 second mark, you'll see Taylor's reflection, accidentally captured in the mirror of the boys' dressing room.
Your daughter would rather be grounded for a month than miss a Jonas Brothers concert.
Still pulling your hair out because you paid 10 times what any sane person would consider reasonable so that your kid could attend one of Miley Cyrus' sold-out “Hannah Montana” concerts last year?
Advertisement Parents may not fully understand, but to a nation of adolescents, Cyrus and the Jonas boys aren't just pop acts. They're 24/7 obsessions. To a legion of businessmen presiding over a slumping industry, they are trend-defying sales juggernauts. And to culture-watchers, they are the latest in a series of teen-pop acts dating back to Ricky Nelson who serve as a generation's musical rite of passage.
The latest Jonas Brothers album, “A Little Bit Longer,” is shaping up as one of the year's best-selling rock releases. It debuted at No. 1 last week with 525,000 discs sold, following up its 1.3 million-selling 2007 self-titled predecessor, which rose to No. 10 – the first time any artist has had two albums in the Top 10 simultaneously in nine years. The new album includes an unprecedented three straight hits that generated more than 100,000 downloads each at the iTunes store. A few weeks earlier, Cyrus' second album, “Breakout,” also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart with more than 370,000 sales, the biggest week this year by a female artist not named Mariah Carey.
In an industry experiencing a 25 percent sales decline in the last eight years, these are reasons for the suits to celebrate. The impressive numbers are just the latest indicator that there are few entertainment consumers more avid than youngsters catching their first music buzz. In recent years, the younger demographic has generated monster hits by the likes of Avril Lavigne, Chris Brown and “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson.
And there are few entertainment conglomerates better equipped to market to that audience than the Walt Disney Co., which oversees the careers of both Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. Disney is Teen Pop Central, with Radio Disney, the Disney Channel and Hollywood Records conspiring to churn out a series of multimedia hits for the Cheetah Girls, the “High School Musical” soundtracks and Cyrus' “Hannah Montana” franchise.
But even the Disney aura has its limits. For many cultural arbiters, “teen pop” is code for “totally disposable.” If these callow entertainers endure, history tells us, it's usually as a nostalgia act. A prime example is the Monkees, whose reunion tours of 1986-87 were among the top revenue earners of the decade. But the group failed to come up with new music that rivaled its 1960s hits. It remains to be seen whether the reunited New Kids on the Block will be able to build a comeback on the back of their first studio album in 14 years, “The Block,” due out next Thursday. Late 1990s hitmakers the Backstreet Boys are attempting a similar comeback.
While the flameouts far outweigh the success stories, a few teen stars do end up reinventing themselves as credible adult artists. Will the Jonas Brothers and Cyrus be among them? Both acts are already trying to transform themselves into mainstream rock acts, a transition only partly realized on their most recent albums.
Two-thirds of the Jonas Brothers band (20-year-old Kevin and 19-year-old Joe) is old enough to vote, but it's 15-year-old Nick who drives things musically. His talents helped get the band signed to a major-label deal with Columbia Records, but the trio was dropped after its 2006 debut, “It's About Time,” failed to crack 100,000 in sales.
The songs on the new album, most written by the band, zoom along on a mixture of relentless cheerfulness, relatively chaste skirt-chasing breathlessness, harmony vocals with just a pinch of grit and punchy power-pop guitars, reminiscent of bubble gum rock sensations from earlier eras (Rick “Jessie's Girl” Springfield, Tommy Tutone, the Knack).
The Brothers, who perform at Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angles's Universal City on Sept. 14, veer off topic to blast shallow starlets (“Video Girl”) and slam on the brakes to let Nick Jonas deliver an inspirational ballad about living with diabetes (“A Little Bit Longer”). I'll be fine, Jonas sings, the last words heard on the new album.
His band isn't doing too badly either. The Jonas Brothers' music is polished and polite, but relatively cringe-free. Their songs are terse and catchy, with just enough bite to edge into rock terrain. In time, the trio may grow into something more than the latest Disney product line.
Can The Jonas Brothers Break Out Of The Teen-Pop Bubble?
It's been an interesting summer for the Jonas Brothers. With a #1 album, A Little Bit Longer, and several major projects in the works — including a TV show and a movie — they've fully succeeded in causing boy-band hysteria that hasn't been seen since Justin Timberlake left 'NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys became men.
With the VMAs coming up September 7 at 9 p.m. ET, the three brothers — Nick, Joe and Kevin — find themselves on the brink of mainstream success. They have two VMA nominations — including the big one, Video of the Year — and are set to perform to an audience whose demographic can skew older than their current fanbase.
"Well, to the average adult, all their music may just seem like bubblegum — but when you really look at it, they've clearly grown," Kabeer Maholtra, a publicist at Girlie Action Media & Marketing, said. "They've made the move from Disney-only. They'll be playing the VMAs, which obviously has an older age demographic than Disney, so they're expanding from tweens to early teens." Girlie Action worked with the Jonas Brothers before they hooked up with Disney in early 2007.
"They also seem to have an instinctive ability to market themselves — each of them has their own look that is pretty well-defined," he continued. "They're going to have long-term success because all three of them are vital to the band's popularity."
This is obviously a huge year for the guys, and the VMA nominations could be the thing that launches them into the pop-culture stratosphere. Joe Jonas recognizes this as well: "It's a first year for a lot of things for us, so we just want to thank the fans."
While the group originally said they'd be "Burnin' Up" the VMA stage with their hit single, reps now say their song choice for the show is top secret.
The media are also excited about the Jonas Brothers, who are already sensations in the tabloid press. "I definitely think the Jonas Brothers are capable of breaking out of their teen-pop bubble," David Caplan, staff editor at People,, told MTV News. "They're a very marketable group, and their reach extends not only to teenybopper girls, but they still have fans [who are] guys and they've managed to keep their relevance because of all these other projects. They are emerging as a franchise."
With the possibility of street credibility on the horizon, these guys are ready to take over the music industry. "The VMAs are going to increase their visibility with the music community and those who perceive them as the male equivalent of a Miley Cyrus," Caplan added.
Could VMA weekend be the right time for the Jonas Brothers to leave their Disney image behind and push through to the mainstream? Only time will tell, but if teenage girls have their way, it just might happen.
Despite a 72 percent drop in sales from last week, The Jonas Brothers still managed to remain on top of The Billboard Top 10 for a second week in a row, having sold 147,000 copies of their new album “A Little Bit Longer.”
Last week, the album sold 525,000 copies, becoming the third-best debut of the year.
The second place in the top is occupied by Kid Rock, who sold 101,000 copies of “Rock and Roll Jesus.”
Rock band Staind had the best debut of the week, selling 92,000 copies of “The Illusion of Progress” and occupying the third place in the top. Their last studio album sold twice as many copies, 185,000, on its debut week.
Ice Cube’s "Raw Footage" debuted at No.5 with 70,000 copies, which is less than half the number of copies its previous album sold two years ago.
The soundtrack from “Mamma Mia!” slid from the second spot to the fourth one, with 87,000 copies sold.
Another new release that managed to enter the chart’s top ten is the self-titled album of Shwayze, who sold 46,600 copies of their debut album and occupied the tenth position.
Miley Cyrus’ “Breakout” fell two places to No.6, with 61,600 sold, while Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III drops one spot to No.7, selling 56,800 copies.
Wayne’s hit album is followed by Sugarland’s “Love on the Inside,” which sold 56,300 copies.
And, at No.9, we hear the Jonas Brothers again, as we find the soundtrack to “Camp Rock,” which includes several songs by the teen trio (sales of 47,200 ).
The soundtrack to “Cheetah Girls: One World” enters next week’s chart at No.13, with sales reported at 34,300.
Just two years ago, the Jonas Brothers were being compared with Hanson -- three handsome siblings from a small town adored by legions of girls and topping the charts with music they wrote and sang.
Nowadays, the Jonases are being compared with boy band 'N Sync, and with good reason.
On Aug. 12, the Jonas Brothers' third CD, ''A Little Bit Longer,'' debuted at Billboard's No. 1, going gold in its first week. Its popularity pushed their 2007 self-titled disc back into the Top 10 -- the first time a group has had two albums in the Top 10 since 1999.
The last group to do it? 'N Sync.
Even before its release, the disc spawned four digital singles that topped iTunes and Billboard charts.
And as if the record's success isn't enough, a Disney Channel movie, '' Camp Rock,'' debuted to 8.9 million viewers in June and will air throughout the fall. Disney also is airing a Jonas reality show, ''Living the Dream,'' and the band is scheduled to start on a television series, once set to be called J.O.N.A.S. (Junior Operative Network as Spies), but now called simply ''The Jonas Show.''
And they're on a summer tour that sold out Madison Square Garden for three nights and stops Saturday at the Allentown Fair.
And, oh yeah, the tour is being filmed for a 2009 Disney 3-D movie.
''I think for us, the fame and all of the success has just been a complete and amazing honor,'' eldest brother Kevin, 20, says in a telephone news conference.
''It really has been incredible. We don't know how to even explain it better than, you know, we don't know where we would be without our fans. We have been truly honored with the most amazing and supportive fans in the world. And the fact that we get to live our dream every day is really amazing.''
While the band's rise has been fast, middle brother Joe, 19, says the brothers are able to maintain normalcy because ''we have a great family around us and we have each other.''
''We're always watching out for each other and we're just doing what we do and having fun.''
It was just three years ago the brothers -- wholesome sons of an evangelical preacher from Wyckoff, N.J. -- released their debut CD, ''It's About Time,'' on Columbia Records. Despite minor hits ''Mandy'' and ''Year 3000,'' the disc barely scratched the Top 100, and Columbia dropped them.
Disney's Hollywood Records picked them up and, marketing them as part of their 'tween juggernaut -- they were sent out to support Miley Cyrus -- made them a phenomenon.
Reviews of ''A Little Bit Longer,'' on which the Jonases helped write every song, have dwelled on the maturity it adds to the mix. The same was said about 'N Sync's third disc, ''Celebrity.'' Both discs include songs dealing with fame.
But youngest Jonas brother Nick, 15, says fans shouldn't think the album is outgrowing them. The songs, he says, don't ''sound that much [more] mature or anything like that. I think it's just a real good continuation.''
The brothers say their involvement in so many projects doesn't affect their focus on music. Kevin says people are amazed that after a show they ''go right back into the back lounge of our tour bus and actually sit down with our guitars and just keep writing.''
''They're like, 'You guys just played a show for two hours. Why are you playing the guitar? Why don't you just want to relax and watch a movie?' And it's like that is our relaxation. That is what clears our head -- writing songs, making music.''
If the Jonas Brothers are on 'N Sync's path, it should be noted that 'N Sync broke up after three discs. But Hanson continues to make well-received music after more than a decade.
Asked recently about the Jonases, Taylor Hanson said his advice to them is to focus on music and choose projects not based on popularity, but that will be meaningful for their future.
Not only was Joe's gal pal, country crooner Taylor Swift, at their show last night, but…
Sources tell us that Nick Jonas' rumored girlfriend, Selena Gomez, was also at the Jonas Brothers concert in Camden, N.J., on Wednesday night.
Awwww, young love!

J.O.N.A.S. Plot!
As most of you would have already known, the "spies" concept for J.O.N.A.S. is scraped, and it now more of a reality series:
New Disney Channel series J.O.N.A.S stars Nick, Kevin, Joe AND Frankie Jonas alongside Chelsea Staub [Stella Malone] and Rachel Katz [Willie Floym]. Story line: Kevin, Nick, and Joe are brothers who hit the big time as popular teen idols.
How do teen idols live an ordinary life? They don't! But as they try to be normal boys doing 'normal' things, life keeps getting less and less 'normal'. Living in a fish bowl can't get funnier!

Despite a huge drop-off from the gaudy numbers it posted last week, the Jonas Brothers begin a second week at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with "A Little Bit Longer." The Hollywood set sold 147,000 units in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, 72% less than its debut total of 525,000.
So says NZ Herald about the filming location for Camp Rock 2:
Two years on, as Disney Channel prepares to unveil its next original production in New Zealand - Camp Rock featuring the Jonas Brothers - there can be no doubt these boys are set for superstardom.

Joe and Taylor in Berita Harian
Our reader Aisyah sent us a scan of the article about Joe and Taylor that was published in Singapore's Malay newspaper Berita Harian on Monday, along with a brief summary of the article:
Joe and Taylor were seen at the West Palm Beach Cruzan Amphitheatre. He was seen wearing a baseball cap and dressed very casually. Joe looked happy when Taylor started singing her first song "I'm Only Me When I'm With You". Asked if they are together, both said they are "just friends".

Demi Lovato Loves the Jonas Brothers
Demi Lovato thinks that Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas look like a great couple. Just one problem: They aren't one. "They would look good together, but too bad they're not," the young singer toldUs Weekly this weekend at the Arthur Ashe Kids' Day Concert in New York City. "They just get along."
Lovato added that she isn't dating anyone, either, while stating that any future beau would need to be approved by the more famous trio in the world. "They always have my back," she said of The Jonas Brothers. "Kevin is always like, 'Do you need anything? Water?' I'm like, 'No, I'm fine... They really help me out with things I am going through."
The Jonas Brothers and Jesse McCartney are set to perform on the first official results show for "Dancing With The Stars"!
And the upcoming season of the hit show will be sure to shake things up. For the first time, the 13 dance teams will need to prepare two routines for week one of the competition, the New York Daily News reports.
The couples will dance their first routine on the show's season premiere, but one couple will be sent home on night two of the competition on Sept. 23. Another team will be dismissed on Sept. 24.

Dr Funkenberry, a celebrity news blogger, dishes on the Jonas Brothers breaking a Rolling Stones Record:
Unbelievable. Shocked it has not happened before but the Jonas Brothers add something else to their resume.
Rolling Stone magazine received over 800 letters after putting the Jonas Brothers on the cover. That was their highest total for a magazine cover. Ever!
They said amazingly, it was not just teen girls, showing they have mass-appeal to more than just tweens. Expect to see them back on the cover real soon.
How amazing is that! Another Jonas cover? Sounds amazing to us! :) Speaking of the Rolling Stone magazine, be sure to grab a copy of the issue featuring the Jonas Brothers at Borders (Wheelock Place) before the stocks run out!
Jonas Fans Take the Act of Terrorizing the Critics to Chicago
On Sunday, Jim DeRogatis penned an overview of the Jonas Brothers' rise to stardom that not only called the Disney-peddled pop trio "goobers," it claimed that the lyrics on "BB Good" "could just as well be dialog from a date rape as the prelude to an innocent teen make-out session" and said that the Nickelodeon boy band the Naked Brothers "beat [the JoBros] any day." You probably know what happened next: a 43-comment freakout and many, many e-mails, some of which DeRogatis was helpful enough to repost today.
Here's what a fan Lizzie said in reply to DeRogatis' article:
I saw your article concerning your response to the new Jonas Brothers album: A Little Bit Longer. I strongly disagree with the negative things you said about them. But especially your comment about the song "A Little Bit Longer" being cheesy. Not only is that insulting to Nick's reflection of his struggle with diabetes, but that song was also #1 on iTunes for more than a week. Nick's passion and talent with songwriting really shines through on that song, and I don't think that this song (or the whole album) deserves any critisism.
We definitely agree with her, and you know it's true when they say: "Never mess with the JoBros' fans." We think the boys deserve respect. Comment to DeRogatis' article here to let him know how you feel.
Fame Hasn't Changed Them National Ledger wrote an article on the Jonas Brothers, on how they've managed to stay grounded despite their immense success:
Despite their success and money, the Jonas Brothers (Kevin, Joe and Nick reportedly made $12 million last year) they've remained down to earth and their neighbors are speaking out in glowing terms on the now very famous Jonas brothers. The churchgoing brothers don't party like rock stars or date around, the neighbors spilled this week.
MTV.com posted an article on Obama's daughters, and here's a snippet:
The girls were pretty upset when they found out they would have to be in Denver during the same weekend Kevin, Nick and Joe would be in their hometown of Chicago — the girls' love for the Jonas boys is well-documented. The senator spent his birthday lounging around and drinking beer while his daughters danced around to the superstars' music on their iPods. And while he finds their music "wholesome enough," he doesn't entirely get it.

Teens say Jonas Brothers appeal to more than the eye
Do you think the Jonas Brothers appeal more to the eye than their music? Here's what some teens have got to say.
They are this generation's answer to the Jackson 5, New Kids on the Block, Hanson and 'N Sync.
The Jonas Brothers -- siblings Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15 -- are the latest heartthrobs to capture the hearts of teens, tweens and in-betweens.
And, as with their predecessors, the appeal is multidimensional.
"They appeal to me because they are amazing performers," says Hannah Morgan, 13, of Scottdale, who is a budding guitarist. "They have an awesome fashion sense! I love their clothes! They look good!" The Jonas Brothers perform Tuesday at the Post-Gazette Amphitheater in Burgettstown.
The trio's success is a confluence of good fortune, opportunity and talent. When the Jonas Brothers released the debut "It's About Time" two years ago, it was hardly noticed. But when Miley Cyrus booked them to open a tour for her last year, the New Jersey-born brothers found an audience ready-made for their winsome, teen-friendly pop.
Success came quickly. Earlier this year the Jonas Brothers starred in "Camp Rock" a movie on the Disney Channel. They are the first band to sell more than 100,000 digital downloads for three consecutive singles: "Burnin' Up," "Pushin' Me Away" and "Play My Music." And the siblings just signed a multimillion-dollar, two-year deal with promoter Live Nation.
In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Kevin Jonas credited the fans for the group's success.
"They, really in the last year, kicked into high gear with coming to the shows, following the music and continuing to talk about it online," he said. "The online thing has been really big for us; the YouTube videos, the MySpace ... all of that."
Fans, in turn, have embraced the brothers. But the bond between the Jonases and their fans seems to go beyond the mindless idolatry that occurs so often between stars and the public.
Rachel Borczyk, 14, of Russellton says liking the Jonas Brothers isn't a function of going along with her peers.
"To be honest, almost none of my friends like them, and don't find any of them 'extremely' attractive," she says. "I love these boys because of who they are, and how much they love what they are doing."
Borczyk adds that the group's lyrics -- notably "we are wild, we are free, we are more than we think, so call us freaks, that's just the way we roll" from the song
"That's the Way We Roll," connects with fans who feel isolated or different from their peers.
"They are speaking to a lot their fans that may not be like anyone else," she says. "They may be a little louder, and may be classified a weirdo. Well, (the Jonas Brothers) are telling you that it's OK to be like that. Just be yourself."
Another reason the Jonas Brothers have endeared themselves to young girls (and undoubtedly parents) is their decision to remain abstinent until they marry. Each brother wears a purity ring signifying their choice.
"I love the Jonas Brothers because they are really good role models," says Lauren Nicassio, 12, of Greensburg. "And, they have really good music. They wear purity rings which basically makes every teenage girl want one."
Nick Jonas also has attracted attention because he has diabetes. Danielle Myers, 14, of Brackenridge, says he admires him for bringing attention to the disease.
"He is also really sweet," she says. "Joe is just funny, cute and nice because he has invited little kids on stage to sing with them and has made people's dreams come true. Kevin is just so nice, funny and awesome. Their appeal to me is that they are my age and we all go through the same kind of things."
But even as the Jonas Brothers seem to connect with their fans on many levels, one basic truth remains: If they looked like the wayward children of the cartoon character Shrek, it wouldn't be quite the same.
"They look good," says Hannah Morgan. "My mom says they are eye candy."
Oh well, we're pretty sure their music appeals to the masses too! (:
Teen sensations Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas (of the Jonas Brothers band) are exchanging steamy text messages now that they've been dating for a couple of months. Nick previously dated Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus, 16.
“I love your mouth and I love your smile. It totally melts me,” Nick, 15, reportedly wrote in a recent text to Selena, 16. Jonas and Gomez previously co-starred in the Disney Channel TV movie, Camp Rock, and Selena currently appears in the Jonas Brothers' new video for their song, Burning Up.
While the Disney sweethearts haven't confirmed their romance, numerous sources say the duo are indeed dating, and they can't stop sending lovey-dovey e-mails and text messages to each another, even when they’re in the same room.
Nick and Selena, who both travel a lot for work, keep their love alive with the help of their Blackberries. “They are addicted to e-mail, a source told Star magazine. "That’s what teenagers do. They have inside jokes and write sexy little things. He’s totally in love.”
Demi Lovato spoke to OK Magazine recently, and here's what she said about Kevin wearing the "Team Demi and Selena" tee, and on Nick and Selena:
"They're basically like my brothers," she told OK! "They’ll always have my back no matter what situation... They’re hilarious guys, and also they’ve got really big hearts that people don’t always see. They do see it in videos, and things like that, but they’re ten times more cool than you expect when you meet them and hang out with them all the time. And they’re very protective of me."
Well if she's so close to the Jonas Bros. and she's best friends with Selena, can Demi finally clear up whether or not her BFF is dating Nick Jonas? "I think they would look good together," she said coyly, adding, "But too bad they’re not."
And a good note to all the teen boys out there — Demi's "definitely not dating anybody," she revealed.
And, as with their predecessors, the appeal is multidimensional.
"They appeal to me because they are amazing performers," says Hannah Morgan, 13, of Scottdale, who is a budding guitarist. "They have an awesome fashion sense! I love their clothes! They look good!"
Source: Pittsburgh Tribune Review Of course, those Jonas boys aren't just eye candy. They've got great talent! :)
Camp Rock 2?
Here's a plot summary posted on IMdB.com for Camp Rock 2, but it's unconfirmed as to whether this will actually be the plot:
When Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) returns to Camp Rock, she’s expecting a summer of romance, fun, and all about music. But instead she finds a summer full of drama. This summer Connect Three (The Jonas Brothers) are all going to be spending time at Camp Rock. So Mitchie and Shane (Joe Jonas) have some dates. When Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin) finds out, she is jealous. Caitlyn Geller’s (Alyson Stoner)cousin, Connor (Joey Nieves) is the newbie to Camp Rock, and wants to fit in. Tess has a mischief plan involving Mitchie, Shane, and Connor. Tess promises Connor that he can hang out with her and her crew so he can be popular. The only thing he has to do is break up Mitchie and Shane. Connor thinks about the plan and gives in. When Caitlyn finds out that it’s Connor’s fault, Connor is in a rude awaking. Tess turns on him to make him the bad guy, and Connor takes the blame. The story turns out good in the end, when the cast sings “Rock On!”

Jonas Brothers Donate Their Little Bit Longer Suits To Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame And Museum
Can things get any better for the Jonas Brothers? They have three albums in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, including the soundtrack to “Camp Rock” and their new one, A Little Bit Longer, which debuted at #1. Plus, the boys — Joe, Nick and Kevin — have a legion of dedicated and loving teenage fans.
And now the boys can add style mavens and rock-and-roll all-stars to their list of this week’s achievements. This afternoon, while taking a tour of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, the guys donated the three suits they wore on the cover of their smash album A Little Bit Longer to the museum.
The Jonas’ presented the suits to Jim Henke, vice president of the Rock Hall. The suits are part of the Right Here, Right Now! exhibit, which celebrates some of today’s hottest artists. And really, does it get any hotter than the Jonas Brothers?
They are the latest act to get a spot in the exhibit, which opened up earlier this summer and features memorabilia from artists and bands like Good Charlotte, Phantom Planet, John Mayer and Usher.
In addition to the Jonas Brothers’ suits, music fans can also check out Ryan Adams’ 1967 Gibson Southern Jumbo guitar and the dress that Paramore’s Hayley Williams wore in the “Emergency” video as well as on the 2006 Vans Warped Tour. Also on hand is the jumpsuit worn by Feist in the “1234″ video and Colbie Caillat’s acoustic guitar.
Watch the video below and can you spot someone, make that three, familiar?
It's none other than the Jonas Brothers! (:

Hey everyone!
We wanted to write and say thanks for making A LITTLE BIT LONGER the NUMBER 1 CD in the US and Canada. We could not have done this without all of you and your support. You have made our dreams come true!!!
Also, we just found out that our last CD, JONAS BROTHERS, came back into the Top 10 at Number 10. And CAMP ROCK is still in the Top 10 at Number 8. Our label told us that *NSYNC was the last group to have 2 CDs in the Top 10 in 1999. This does not include Camp Rock.
Pretty Interesting reading below in an article we saw on Yahoo for Chart Watch!
Thanks again for everything.

Kevin's Interview with Sweden Magazine
What’s more important, the internet or the moon? K: oh man! i don’t even know what the moon is good for, it’s just up there in the sky. plus you can find pictures of the moon online.. so maybe we don’t need it?
Ok… K: so the internet is most important! haha no wait i’m kidding, the moon is. what a funny question!
My friend told me it’s a good icebreaker. Maybe it would work as a pick-up line too? K: hehe..”so what is more important to you baby, the internet or… the moon?” they would probably just think that i was crazy.
Do you believe in love at first sight? K: definitely.
Are you in love right now? K: no, none of us have a girlfriend right now. we try to date and we want to date, but we are so busy. but i walk around and fall in love with different girls every day.
What does your dreamgirl look like? K: i like darker girls, italian girls are really beautiful! or well, blondes too, like swedish girls, wow! and i like girls who care about what they wear, not the kind of girl who bums around in sweatpants.
What would the world be without love? K: ugh, very, very boring. it feels like life wouldn’t have any meaning. i read a book a while ago and it was about a loveless world.. i don’t remember the name of it, but it was really sad.
You’re in the new disney channel movie camp rock, have you been to camp as well? K: oh yeah, me and my brothers went to camp several years in a row, and it was a blast. we thought it was awesome to be away from home for a while and we never wanted to go back. to us it was a nice way to get away and have fun without our parents, it was probably a good way for us to prepare for our summer tours, haha.
You seem to care about the inviroment. K: oh yeah, it’s definitely a very important thing to our generation. so when we have the opportunity as a band to reach out and educate young people, we think that’s our responsibility. we want the earth to be around for our grandchildren.
Ok. K: on our next tour we’re gonna have like 17 buses with equipment and people and that doesn’t sound too good, but we’re gonna try to use biofuel. we try to do everything we can.
Do you and your brothers fight? K: not really, we get along really well. the only time we fight is when someone takes someone elses clothes, because when you’re on tour you don’t bring too much clothing so everyone is really protective of their own. i don’t mind if joe or nick borrows my clothes, as long as they wash them afterwards!
Messiest brother? K: ew, that’s probably me. but it’s not as bad as it looks, it’s organized chaos!
Makes the best food? K: none of us! we’re terrible cooks. our mom makes the best food.
Likes to sleep in? K: nick! he’s impossible to wake up.
Has the best dance moves? K: hm, joe. but we all like to dance!
Gets the most girls? K: frankie! hahaha!
Tip: nickjonline and Dess
Jonesin' for those Jonases
Who are the Jonas Brothers, anyway?
Kevin, 20, Joe, 19, and Nick, 15, are the official members. "Bonus Jonas" Frankie, 7, will be pressed into service if one of the Jonases dies in office. (Just kidding, but seriously, he's ready.)
What's so great about them?
"They are a wholesome band that writes songs that are very catchy and are filled with a variety of emotions," explains Liz, who co-runs fan-site JonasHQ.org. "People can relate to them."
The Brothers have been applauded for their vows of chastity. Why is it so important for young stars to be seen as pure these days?
"I think the operative phrase here is 'being seen as pure,' " says Mary Zeiss Stange, professor of women's studies and religion at Skidmore College, who cites Miley Cyrus as a recent example of the pure-but-maybe-not-so-much phenomenon. "There is obviously a certain amount of sexual teasing at work here."
Will the Brothers face thorny sibling rivalry issues at some point?
"Kids have difficulty sorting out who got favoritism growing up. That carries into their future," says Dr. Gilda Carle, author of "Teen Talk With Dr. Gilda," who hasn't treated the Jonases. "I wonder about the [brother] who isn't in the group."
How rich are they, exactly?
They earned $12 million in the past year, according to Forbes. Forbes.com senior reporter Lacey Rose credits the group's corporate overlords. "What we're seeing is the power of Disney to put these stars on every available platform," including music, movies and TV.
Should rumored Jonas girlfriends, like fellow Disney-ite Selena Gomez, worry about attacks?
"Being linked with a Jonas Brother would most definitely help record sales," advises Jared Eng, founder of the Jonas-heavy gossip blog JustJared.com. "Sure, all the Jonas fan-girls may hate you ... but you'd have all the bragging rights to being the girlfriend of a Jonas Brother. I'd say go for it!"
While preliminary sales estimates had the Jonas Brothers selling as many as 725,000 copies of their latest LP, A Little Bit Longer, during its first week on record store shelves, it turns out those projections — which were based on first-day scans — were slightly generous. But the good news (at least for the Jonases) is that, as expected, they've still managed to open on top, scoring them the first #1 debut of their young career.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, A Little Bit Longer sold just over 525,000 copies during week one, making it one of the year's best-selling debuts. On top of that, the Jonas Brothers' 2007 self-titled effort returns to the Top 10 on next week's Billboard albums sales chart, at #10, after selling another 31,000 units, marking the first time a group has done so since 'NSYNC back in late 1998; that's when that act's 1998 self-titled effort claimed the #2 spot with 535,700 sold, and 1998's Home for Christmas rounded out the Top 10 with 265,600 copies scanned.
But there's more! Not only can the Jonases — who will perform at the VMAs on September 7 — claim the nation's best-selling and 10th best-selling albums, but the "Camp Rock" soundtrack, which features three tracks from the boys, holds the #8 position, selling around 50,000 copies — meaning there are three albums featuring their songs in next week's Top 10.
And there's even more! Thanks to A Little Bit Longer, the Jonas Brothers have eclipsed the first-week sales generated by fellow Disney Channel juggernaut Miley Cyrus, who stars in the "Hannah Montana" series and films. Miley's Breakout sold nearly 371,400 copies to debut at #1, or close to 150,000 fewer copies than the Jonases. Breakout sold another 84,700 copies last week, and falls two spots on the chart to #4.
A Little Bit Longer's ascension to the chart's peak position was a smooth one, seeing as the Jonas Brothers faced little competition in their quest for #1. Following them at #2, with 110,000 sold, it's last week's #1, the "Mamma Mia!" soundtrack, with Kid Rock's Rock N Roll Jesus at #3, with 101,000 scans. The Jonas Brothers' new one was one of 11 new releases to impact next week's chart, but the only one to bow in the top 10. Daddy Yankee's Talento de Barrio: El Soundtrack was the week's second-highest debut, entering at #13 with just 25,500 sold.
Week Ending Aug. 17, 2008: America's Teens Have Spoken (Loudly!) Posted Wed Aug 20, 2008 12:37pm PDT by Paul Grein in Chart Watch Jonas Brothers land their first #1 album on The Billboard 200. Their album, A Little Bit Longer, opens with sales of 525,000 copies. That's the highest first-week total by a teen-aged act since Britney Spears' third album, Britney, opened with sales of 746,000 in November 2001. (Spears was 19 at the time.) The brothers' new album sold more copies in its first week than their previous album, Jonas Brothers, sold in its first 16 weeks combined. Jonas Brothers-Kevin, 20, Joe, 19 and Nick, 15-is the second group to reach #1 that included two teenagers. New Kids On The Block hit #1 with Hangin' Tough in September 1989 when two members-Joey McInytre, 16, and Jordan Knight, 19-were still in their teens. (In a neat coincidence, New Kids' Greatest Hits debuts this week at #22.)
The brothers' sophomore album, Jonas Brothers, jumps from #11 to #10. This is the first time a group has placed two albums in the top 10 simultaneously since another teen sensation, *NSYNC, scored for five weeks in late 1998 with their debut album N Sync and their holiday album Home For Christmas.
Jonas Brothers have made rapid climb to the top. The new album's first-week sales are more than seven times the opening-week sales of Jonas Brothers. That album debuted (and peaked) at #5 in August 2007 with first-week sales of 69,000. The trio's out-of-print 2006 debut album, It's About Time, bowed (and peaked) at #91 in August 2006, with first-week sales of 10,000.
Jonas Brothers' first-week sales number is markedly bigger than that which greeted Miley Cyrus' Breakout three weeks ago (371,000). Earlier this year, Jonas Brothers were the opening act on Cyrus' Best Of Both Worlds Concert, which was a hit concert, movie, soundtrack and now DVD. Of course, this is hardly the first time an opening act became hotter than the headliner. It happens, especially in the fast-moving world of teen pop. Two decades ago, New Kids on the Block were opening in concert for Tiffany when they were on fire and her momentum was noticeably cooling. (To be fair, Cyrus isn't cooling. The Jonases are just, well, burnin' up.)
Heart-throb Joe Jonas has 17 entries on Hot Digital Songs, which ties the mark David Cook set 12 weeks ago, right after he was crowned this year's American Idol. The tally counts 15 Jonas Brothers songs (10 from the new album, four from the previous album and one from Camp Rock), as well as a duet with Demi Lovato and a solo, both from Camp Rock.
The Jonases are the first brother act to reach #1 since The Isley Brothers scored five years ago with Body Kiss. The veteran group, at that point, consisted of brothers Ronald and Ernie Isley. In the 52-year history of Billboard's weekly album chart only two other acts comprised solely of siblings have reached #1. Those acts are the Carpenters and the Bee Gees. Karen and Richard rang the bell in 1974 with their splendid greatest hits album, The Singles 1969-1973. Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb topped the chart with three straight albums from 1978 to 1980-the landmark Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, Spirits Having Flown and Greatest.
Hanson, another brother trio, came very close to hitting #1. Its breakthrough album, Middle Of Nowhere, peaked at #2 in June 1997. The Hanson brothers were even younger at the time than Jonas Brothers are now. Isaac was 16, Taylor was 14 and Zac was 11. Other groups and duos that consisted entirely of siblings to reach the top 10 include the Jackson 5, the Brothers Johnson, the Vaughan Brothers, Pointer Sisters, the Everly Brothers and the Osmonds.
The Disney entertainment empire has four albums in the top 10-the two Jonas Brothers albums, the Jonas-studded Camp Rock TV soundtrack and Miley Cyrus' Breakout. Walt would be proud.
Nick Jonas reveals in the new issue of M Magazine that while he was the “good guy in class,” other kids always made him feel like an outsider because he missed lots of school to pursue his music and acting.
“No one really understood me,” Nick shares with M.
Nick and his brothers eventually realized, “It wasn’t our fault - they were the stupid ones. That’s the truth!”
The Jonas Brothers--three adorable haircuts related by birth and a willingness to appear on any talk show that will have them--are the latest teen act to attempt to transcend cuteness and achieve a measure of credibility with people who have no interest in taking them to the prom. Every time a band tries this, someone at its record company invariably mentions the early-'60s Beatles--it could happen!--but that only serves to reinforce how long the odds are, and the Jonas Brothers have already made it tough on themselves. There is the fact that all three brothers wear purity rings and have forsworn the temptations of sex and drugs, which wipes out large swaths of potential songwriting material. Also, they are products of the famously regimented Disney media machine, and their appearances on Hannah Montana and starring roles in Camp Rock don't suggest any hidden expertise at plumbing the rougher edges of existence. Finally, look at them: How can anyone be expected to rock out to a band cuter than the Muppets?
That said--and the sound you hear is the reluctant swallowing of some primo critical bile--the Jonas Brothers are not bad. Pretty good, even. All 12 songs on their third album, A Little Bit Longer, are about girls, and they're evenly divided between hook-filled upbeat rockers and ballads that stop themselves on the tasteful side of treacle. What we learn from these tunes about the various Jonases--Nick, 15, writes most of the songs and sings, while Joe, 19, sings lead vocals and looks handsome, and Kevin, 20, plays guitar--is that they are as honorable as their bios. When they court (Lovebug), they court with good intentions. When they mess up (Sorry), they apologize. When they come back (Can't Have You), it's on hands and knees. Apparently some of the courting and crawling stems from young Nick's rumored past relationship with Miley Cyrus. Hey, there are people--most of the brothers' fan base, in fact--who might find that interesting.
Far more interesting is the fact that most of A Little Bit Longer is catchy as hell. The Jonases may be popular, good-looking kids, but they're as enthralled by the mechanics of power chords and three-part harmonies as the nerds in Weezer are. Burnin' Up, which opens with a steam kettle boiling over, never leaves the realm of goofiness but redeems itself with a flirtatious, ebullient hook and a lyric so innocent--"High heels/ Red dress/ All by yourself/ Gotta catch my breath!"--that you might even forgive them for letting their bodyguard lay down a rap verse in the middle. Lovebug floats on a gentle acoustic guitar line into a sweetly delivered chorus ("Now I'm speechless/ Over the edge I'm just breathless/ I never thought that I'd catch this love bug again") before exploding into a Boston-style guitar solo that they actually earn. The playing on these songs is big and precise, the singing joyful. None of it will surprise anyone with more than a dozen albums in their record collection, but then none of it will embarrass them either.
If there's anything that doesn't quite jibe about A Little Bit Longer, it's that the Jonases seem a little bit too comfortable making comfortable music. No one still harbors any illusions that rock musicians need to upset generational harmony, but the songs slot so neatly into the late-'70s template set by the Cars and Cheap Trick--and the Jonases are still so young--that it's easy to wonder if they're performing their own taste or that of their dad, who is also their co-manager. This may explain the presence of some weird banter at the beginning of songs and a few theatrically odd phrasings at the end of them: the brothers are desperate to assert they can be playful beneath the polish. So maybe they're not the Beatles. Or the Jackson 5. But they're a damn sight better than the Osmonds.

The Awesomeness of the JoBros
The Plain Dealer posted a very interesting "scientific inquiry" on why the Jonas Brothers are so awesome:
The Jonas Brothers qualify as "uniquely crush-worthy," according to Kelly. (5) In the same report, Casey found the JoBros to be "just plain hot," noting: "They all have amazing style. It's rock and roll and preppy at the same time. Oh, and they look so good in their tight skinny jeans!" (6)
Jenna and Jacyln had direct contact with Kevin, Joe and Nick and found them to be "insanely cute." (7)
Research published in the prestigious journal J-14 (Just for Teens) determined that the Jonas Brothers are the "hottest group," with a clear thermodynamic edge over Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco. Joe was deemed "hottest guy." (8)
By way of summing up these sentiments nicely, We Love Jonas Brothers posed the no-brainer question: "Who wouldn't want to be the girl of their dreams?" (9)

Learning From the Past
An article was posted on USA Today, where Rolling Stone deputy editor Jason Gay, who interviewed the Jonas Brothers for a recent cover story, was asked to examine the career arcs of past sibling-based teen sensations and offer some advice.
The power of YouTube in helping the Jonas Brothers reach out to and communicate with their fans is clearly evident:
But the bulk of the videos on their channel feature the boys not singing, but instead giving their fans staged looks at their everyday lives. For their YouTube sketches, the Jonas Brothers have assembled an odd supporting cast, including the Queen of England and the aptly named Big Rob — Big Rob is ostensibly the boys’ bodyguard, but fills more of a driver/straight man role in these videos. He even occasionally busts into a rap solo, which seems like a really poor bodyguarding strategy. I mean, do members of the Secret Service let down their guard every once in a while to freestyle some domestic policy for the President? (Wait, maybe they do. That would explain a lot.)
The boys also use the channel to communicate directly with their audience, announcing contests and promoting their sponsors. Their latest three-part sketch features a plot line recycled from the Aerosmith Rockin’ Rollercoaster at Disney MGM Studios — the band has to get to the gig on time! — but instead of a roller coaster, the boys are riding in Chevy’s hybrid SUV. It’s an odd choice of sponsors, given that the Jonas Brothers audience isn’t even legal to drive yet, but that doesn’t stop Nick, Joe and Kevin from selling the hell out of their product.
