Nick Jonas is spotted driving a Classic Ford Mustang Cobra with his bodyguard by his side in Los Angeles on Monday.

The Jonas Brothers will be performing live at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on November 19th. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 4, and will go for $45, $65 and $89.25.

It was also announced that on November 15, the Jonas Brothers will perform at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, CA.

Team Jonas Fan Club members will have the opportunity to purchase presale tickets for those concerts.

Jonas Brothers To Perform At MGM

Pop-rock music sensations, the Jonas Brothers, will bring their live performance to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The chart-topping band will take the stage at 8 p.m. on Nov. 19. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 4.

The Jonas Brothers’ meteoric rise as a pop-culture phenomenon started in August 2007 with the release of their self-titled debut album, which has since been certified platinum, according to Live Nation.

Leading up to the release of their brand new album, A Little Bit Longer, the band earned six consecutive No. 1 singles on iTunes.

The Jonas Brothers are the first band to have three albums on iTunes’ Top 10 at once, Live Nation said.

Recently, the Jonas Brothers were featured on the cover of Rolling Stone and are the youngest group to hold that honor, according to Live Nation.

The band has been filming a 3-D concert and behind-the-scenes feature length movie for Walt Disney Studios to be released in February 2009.

Their recent tours were also photographed for a fall 2008 release of the Jonas Brothers’ first book to be published by the Disney Book Group, Live Nation said.

Tickets are available at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office, www.livenation.com, www.mgmgrand.com and all Ticketmaster Outlets or at 702-474-4000.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Public Education Foundation.

Michelle Obama chatted with Access Hollywood about her daughters’ love for the Jonas Brothers: ‘We had a lot of kids activities planned.. all week because they didn’t want to hear the speeches. The biggest thing that happened to my kids this summer wasn’t the convention or their dad securing the nomination, they got to meet the Jonas Brothers.. That was the big thing!

At ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ Access shared Malia and Sasha Obama’s compliment with JB, who themselves recounted their meeting with the potential first daughters. Nick said, ‘We walk in and see all this secret service and we’re like ‘what?’

Joe added, ‘There was a lot of secret service.’ Nick, ‘I mean for us it’s an honor to meet them kind of so it’s a really funny concept I guess.”

The temptation to compare Hotel Joule owner Tim Headington to James Dean's character Jett Rink in the movie Giant is just too great. Tim is single and a certifiable oil billionaire. Friday night, he opened his stunningly lavish Hotel Joule on Main Street by hosting a convocation of movie stars, directors, producers, famous musicians, one British royal and a fellow Forbes 400 member at the big gala.

While the party began at 7:30, the place to be was the 6:30 VIP gathering in the penthouse, a sybaritic apartment with outdoor terraces and a bathtub filled with iced-down Dom Perignon.

In the penthouse, one could not walk 4 feet without running into Martin Scorsese or producer Graham King (both of them picked up Oscars for The Departed) or Sarah, the Duchess of York (she is producing The Young Victoria with Tim and Marty). But the presence of Academy Award-winning legends was meaningless to the 75 or so teen and tween girls who crowded Main Street across from the Joule entrance. All they knew was that the Jonas Brothers were inside. The girls screamed for them to come down. Seventeen stories higher, the brothers were listened intently when Marty Scorsese made his way over to chat. Joe Jonas was the only band member missing. But Nick and Kevin Jonas were in fine form mixing in the crowd with their dad, Kevin Jonas Sr. Other celebs all angled for face time with the Jonases.

Back down on the street, I tried to give the Jonas fans an update on what the guys were doing at the party and who they were meeting. One girl came from as far as Houston, some from Forney, and there was my new friend at Ursuline to whom I promised a shout-out (S'up).

The Jonas Brothers Reflect

The Jonas Brothers - Joe, Kevin and Nick - are riding high.

Their new film, Camp Rock was a huge success Stateside, becoming the second highest viewed film on the Disney Channel after High School Musical 2.

They are also enjoying a surge of popularity in the UK, where they met by crowds of fans at the film's London premiere in September.

Their third album, A Little Bit Longer, sold more than 525,000 copies to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

They've also managed the rare feat of having two albums in the US top 10 at the same time.

Associated Press Music Writer Nekesa Moody compares the young men to other boy band phenomena like N'Sync and New Kids on the Block, but says the Jonas' are something special:

"They're not just a boy band, they have a lot of talent. And not only that, they are pretty on the eyes for all the young girls. They definitely have that scream factor."

Young girls certainly line up in screaming droves to catch a glimpse of them.

And what they're falling for is a wholesome charm.

The boys are managed by their father, a pastor who home schooled them, and each wears a purity ring - symbolising their intent to stay celibate until marriage.

All of which makes them role models to many.

"You know, we're not perfect," says Joe, "but we're doing our best and we definitely know that it's good to just live every day by itself and do your best to do what you do and enjoy it."

As to what kind of girl will win their hearts, "Just be good to mom - it's very important," smiles Nick.

"If mom likes her it's all good," agrees Joe. "I think also, just a great personality. Someone that's not afraid of what people think and can be themselves."

Since 2005, the boys have toured with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus and the Backstreet Boys, before graduating to headlining their own dates.

Even life on the road hasn't stirred up tension, let alone sibling rivalry.

"I think for us, we get along very very well and I don't think we would know what to do without each other. We're each other's best friends," says Kevin.

Life's not entirely a bed of roses though. Nick Jonas revealed he suffers from type 1 diabetes at a fundraiser for the Diabetes Research Institute last year. He was diagnosed while on tour in 2005.

The lyrics of album title track 'A Little Bit Longer' were written to help spread awareness of the condition, and offer encouragement to fellow sufferers.

The brothers reportedly give a tenth of their earnings to their Change for Children Foundation - and recently announced the charity would would be teaming up with Bayer Diabetes Care to keep spreading the word.

"I'm a diabetic so we work a lot with diabetes and research and creating awareness as well," explains Joe. "Anything we can do financially is great, but also we're focussed on being moral support for these kids as well because when they first get diagnosed they always feel very alone in the struggle and we're just trying to meet as many of them as we can and say 'It's going to be alright', and let them know we're there for them."

The condition isn't about to slow Nick down.

He and his brothers are enjoying their success and looking to the future.

"It's been an amazing ride," says Nick, "and we're just continuing to do what we're doing - having fun."

I had mixed feelings about Mr. Barnes’s article on the Muppets’ comeback. I am thrilled that the Muppets are returning to the public eye — it has been a long time coming.

But Mr. Barnes quoted a parent whose children showed no interest in the original show and implied that the only way today’s children would appreciate the Muppets is when they’re given the stamp of approval by Disney’s current teen idols. Contrary to this assumption, there are plenty of children today who enjoy the classic Muppet show and don’t necessarily have to see Miss Piggy next to the Jonas Brothers. The Muppets can be brought back, but by embracing the past, not hiding it.

The Lucas Brothers

JoBros will being shooting their Disney Channel series starting on Monday according to Access Hollywood.

The series will be called Jonas, referring to the street they live on. The trio plays three brothers in a band known as the Lucas Brothers!

The “bonus” Jonas (Frankie) will be making recurring guest appearances.

The series is scheduled to debut next Spring. “It’s going to be a funny show and it’s going to be a great cast,” Joe said. “I’m really excited!”

Bonus Jonas Frankie to Make Recurring Guest Appearances on 'J.O.N.A.S!'

A source in the know has claimed that the so-called "Bonus Jonas" will make recurring guest appearances on the upcoming show, starring as the youngest Lucas brother.

More details have been outed by a source in the know about the highly anticipated Disney television series "J.O.N.A.S!", one of which is that Frankie the "Bonus Jonas" will make recurring guest appearances on it. The little boy, whose name is Franklin "Frankie" Nathaniel Jonas, will play as the youngest brother of Lucas brothers, played by his real-life brothers, Jonas Brothers.

"They play three brothers in a band. But in the show, they are the 'Lucas' brothers," the unidentified source explained referring to Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas' starring roles in the comedy series. The source moreover explained that its title "J.O.N.A.S!" is meant as a reference "to the name of the street they live on."

And while all the Jonas' siblings will star in, the series wouldn't star their real-life parents. Their on-screen parents will be played by actor and actress who have yet to be identified.

The brothers are scheduled to begin shooting the series, which reportedly will be a single-camera comedy series, next Monday, September 29. The location of the shooting isn't being disclosed. The series, still according to the source, is slated for spring 2009 debut.

Jonas Brothers, the Subject of Sex Contest by Radio Station

Anyone who is of legal age and can prove she is the first person to have sex with one of the brothers will get a $10,000 prize.

104.5 WSNX-FM, a radio station in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has launched a sex contest with Jonas Brothers as the subject, offering anyone who can be the first person to have sex with one of the brothers a $10,000 prize. The competition, called "Jump A Jonas", is challenging any females who are legal to have sex to be the first person to sleep with either Kevin Jonas or Joe Jonas. Nick Jonas isn't part of the competition since he has yet reached his age of consent.

"The boys talk a lot about purity and living a lifestyle free of temptation and while that is an excellent way to live your life, we wanted to know if everyone had their level of self-control," the radio station stated on the reason that prompted the contest. "We are offering a $10,000 bounty to the person that can 'jump a Jonas' and prove it. If you are able to legally bed down either of the two Jonas Brothers who are of legal age to do so and are able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that you did the deed, you can collect the $10,000 bounty."

Collaboration Between JB and Lohan?

Lindsay Lohan's younger sister Ali's stalled pop career may have been saved -- she is in talks with the manager of The Jonas Brothers and Justin Timberlake.

The 14-year-old hit the Billboard chart with her first track, "All The Way Around," from her debut LP earlier this year, but it failed to prove a hit, falling off the chart shortly after.

And despite promoting her music through her reality TV show "Living Lohan," the singer/actress has failed to set the charts alight since the first release.

However, the star's mom, Dina, is reportedly determined to get Ali signed up with Johnny Wright, who successfully co-manages Timberlake and The Jonas Brothers with their parents.

A representative for Ali and Dina Lohan tells New York gossip column Page Six, "We are meeting with (Wright's) firm."

Spotted, Gossip Girl-style: Teen pop sensations the Jonas Brothers, heralding the launch of MySpace Music atop a billboard in Times Square. The launch of the News Corp.-owned social network's music service is coming any day now.

The Jonas Brothers display can be seen on the billboard on the corner of West 43rd Street, with the slogan "Songs We Can Agree On" and a short list of songs in the manner of a mixtape (which include selections from Elvis Costello, Prince, and Albert Hammond Jr.) That's a hint at the playlist-creation focus of the new music service. A URL for the Jonas Brothers' MySpace page accompanies the ad, indicating that high-profile artists will likely be pimping the service when it debuts.

Playlists and "digital mixtapes" are hot: we've seen this recently in the iLike developer API and the popular-but-shuttered start-up Muxtape.

MySpace Music will be launching with either three or all four of the major music labels onboard, depending on which sources are asked. It'll offer paid downloads as well as free streaming and concert tickets. And, presumably, it has the approval of the doe-eyed Jonas Brothers, or at least their publicist

For Disney bosses racking their brains over how to introduce the Jonas Brothers to British audiences, help came in the unlikely form of Russell Brand.

His description of George W Bush as "that retard cowboy fella" may have caused a sharp intake of breath at the MTV Video Music Awards, but it was Brand’s repeated mockery of the pop world’s latest teen sensations that truly offended Middle America.

The resulting furore made headlines on both sides of the Atlantic, and provided a timely publicity boost for a band hitherto known here only to the under-12s and devotees of the Disney Channel. After conquering the States, the Jonas Brothers have set their sights on Britain with the release of new album A Little Bit Longer. For the uninitiated, Kevin, 20, Joe, 19, and Nick, just 15, are three siblings from New Jersey with musical talent (they play their own instruments), some decent pop-rock tunes and a high cuteness factor. They are also evangelical Christians who don’t smoke, drink or take drugs, and who wear "promise rings" signifying their intent to remain virgins until marriage.

Meeting them, one understands why MTV viewers were outraged on their behalf. The Jonas Brothers are so sweet-natured and eager to please that picking on them is like kicking the Andrex puppy. If they feel aggrieved at being the butt of Brand’s jokes, they are too polite to say so. He is not the first to mock them, and won’t be the last. Kevin shrugs: "The first time you get a hate mail or you get a hater, it means that you’re doing something right. That’s the way I guess we have to look at our life as well."

In the US, they are doing an awful lot right. They have made the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. They recently sold out New York’s Madison Square Garden on three consecutive nights. Their acting debut, in Disney Channel movie Camp Rock, was second only to High School Musical 2 in ratings. When they performed an outside broadcast for television show Good Morning America, 15,000 fans turned up.

They reckon they haven't got time for girlfriends, but there's something a bit fishy about the Jonas Brothers when it comes to their love lives.

Now Magazine recently quoted oldest brother Kevin - a proud virgin at age 20 - as saying that he and his brothers would love a bit of romance in their lives, but just can't find the time.

"We're on the road at least 265 days a year so forming any significant relationship with someone is too difficult," he said, after confessing a celeb crush on Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole ("I think she's the perfect woman"). A quick search on Jonas fan forums reveals he may be secretly dating a girl called Danielle - check our gallery for pics of them together.

But rumours have been flying about his two younger siblings having high-profile girlfriends behind the scenes. Nick, who was confirmed to have dated Miley Cyrus in the past, is now said to be dating fellow Disney cutie Selena Gomez.

Joe, on the other hand, is causing mass hysteria on JoBro forums due to a rumoured relationship with angel-faced singer Taylor Swift.

The boys have neither confirmed nor denied these rumours - and instead have been quite cagey about the whole affair. Check out this clip from their appearance on Ellen - where Ellen DeGeneres pretty much makes them squirm in their seats.

The Jonas Brothers are growing up. And not just because they’re penning ballads about medical conditions.

The release of the band’s “A Little Bit Longer” on Tuesday is expected to be one of the biggest albums of the year. It follows two months after the top-10 debuting soundtrack to “ Camp Rock,” in which the Disney pop trio sang the showcase song.

The act’s latest single, “Burnin’ Up,” is already a top-20 hit, and recently sold more 100,000 digital downloads in one week. These numbers aren’t kid's stuff. And the Jonas Brothers aren’t exactly “Mmm-bopping” around when it comes to their songs, either.

Sporting dapper, grown-up suits, the Jonas Brothers sometimes come off as if they’re playing a part. Just check “Burnin’ Up,” with lead Jonas, Joe, straining his vocals in an effort to force some rock ‘n’ roll grit to grow out of his adolescent pipes. Or the video, in which the band dons the role of Bond-like spies and runs around in an adult fantasy land.

And we haven’t even mentioned the lyrics, in which the boys are ogling a woman in a red dress and high heels. It’s not exactly risque, but it’s a bit removed from Miley Cyrus’ “Breakout,” in which the singer is still grappling with teen issues, like, say, getting up at 8 a.m. for school (it’s “crazy,” she tells us).

Indeed, the Jonas Brothers seem eager to grow up. But in rock ‘n’ roll, it’s usually the other way around, with artists forever struggling to hang onto their youth. We take a look at some albums in which artists may not exactly have acted their age.

Today, on the JoBros‘ official blog, they implored fans to pick up the new Demi Lovato CD called Don’t Forget.

They said, “Just wanted to let you know that Demi’s new CD is in stores TODAY!!! We are so proud of our friend. She is an amazing singer and musician. Also, we want you to know that we were able to co-write and co-produce 6 of the songs on the CD. There is even a duet we can’t wait for you to hear.”

Miley recently did an interview with Nylon Magazine about opening up about Nick Jonas and the Selena Feud.

Teen pop sensation, Miley Cyrus, opens up to Nylon about that Nick Jonas interview, rumored Selena feud, those infamous pictures and her future.

NYLON: Miley, in a recent and very publicized interview you openly discussed your relationship with Nick Jonas, after denying there even was a relationship several times previously. What changed?


MILEY: I think it was just a part of that closure every girl needs at the end of a relationship. I gave the interview way back in March, when I was still hurting. I wanted to get the message out and say like, “ Hey, I love you, but I’m still strong and I’m happier now,” when I really wasn’t.

NYLON: So how are you now?

MILEY: I’m still on that journey of recovering and finding myself, and the road has been both a blessing and a curse; but I’m getting there.

NYLON: Are you and Nick still friends?

MILEY: Our relationship has definitely been damaged, because he wanted everything super private. When I opened up about it, he felt out of his comfort zone and [our friendship] became awkward. For now, we’re okay, but definitely just that.

NYLON: So is there any truth to the Miley/Selena feud?

MILEY: I think it’s tension more than anything, and the media loves it so they add fuel to the fire by fabricating things. Like when the media says I’m being replaced by [Selena and Demi] it has a tendency to make things awkward. The thing is, all of us are so busy, so we don’t really have time to connect and form a friendship. We all do our own thing.

NYLON: What do you have to say to all of the people rooting for a Selena/Nick romance?

MILEY: Oh, gosh! I don’t know, its not really my place to say anything. I do know they’re great friends and anything can happen!

NYLON: And you would be okay with a romance between the two of them?


MILEY: That’s their thing. My opinion doesn’t really matter.

Camp Rock drew in 2.4 million viewers on Disney Channel in the U.K. in its premiere weekend, making it the most successful non-sequel ever on the channel, surpassing High School Musical by 23 percent and ranking number one in its time slot for kids in all U.K. homes.

The premiere attracted 780,000 viewers, and pushed up Disney Channel’s audience day share to 11.6 percent, the channel’s best day share among kids across multichannel homes so far this year, and its third best of all time.

The Disney Channel original movie also had its first European free-TV launch, on Germany’s ProSieben, ranking number one in its time slot with kids 3 to 13 with a 25.2-percent share. The Disney original stands as the highest rated live-action movie on ProSieben in 2008 with kids 3 to 13. Camp Rock achieved a share of 30.6 percent with young people aged 14 to 19 as well.

Since premiering in the U.S. and Canada on June 20, Camp Rock has reached nearly 46 million unduplicated viewers in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.

The virginal floppy-haired pop sensation known as the Jonas Brothers are in the midst of filming their 3-D movie in Long Beach, CA.

Shortly after Nick Jonas received his 16th birthday of a parasite-infested puppy , the young pop star got back to work and can be seen here on the set.

Not that much longer before that, the boys were in London to promote Camp Rock. I do have to say that I envy their jet-set lifestyle, but they sure look like they do a lot of work. It looks exhausting.

We are trying to work out details for a live chat right now. We know that there have been a lot of rumors about a live chat. We will let everyone know through MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, YouTube, etc.

2. how would you go about dating a fan?
- i mean like how would you get to know her?

Playing 3 nights at Madison Square Garden was an amazing experience. We grew up outside of New York so this was very special for us.

7. do you feel like when your dating a celeb there is too much drama?

QUIET time is a rarity for the Jonas Brothers.

After a recent performance for more than 500 screaming tween and teen girls in a store in New York City, the Jonas Brothers – Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15 – huddled in a stairwell, trying to find a quiet space to conduct an interview.

Good luck with that. Even as they spoke, their words were almost drowned out by deafening shrieks from girls still trying to find a way to get at their idols, who have set off a boy-band pop craze not seen since the lofty days of 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys.

"You kind of either just look around and laugh, or just, like, enjoy it," Joe, the band's lead singer, says of the frenzy.

"We're in awe. It's a whirlwind, and we're happy to be on the ride."

The fandemonium for the Jonas Brothers reached a fever pitch with the release in the US of their third album, A Little Bit Longer, set for release in Australia next month.

The CD was launched in the US just as the sibling trio finished a three-night, sold-out stint at New York's famed Madison Square Garden, which was also the site of filming for their upcoming 3-D concert flick.

"We are just really living the dream right now," Kevin said.

Joe Jonas has said he relates to his character Shane in Camp Rock, but only to a certain extent.

"I'm not so much like my character. He's a little mean at times, but deep down inside, Shane's a good guy and we can relate on touring-wise, for sure," he said.

His co-star Meagan Jette Martin, however, said she had to do a lot of preparation for her role as mean girl Tess.

"The character Regina George in Mean Girls, lots of inspiration came from that movie. I actually watched it five times in one day before my audition, because I love the way Rachel McAdams play the character.

"You love to hate her. I also took Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada. I took a lot of inspiration from that because she's more cold and you just don't like her."

But according to their fellow star Alyson Stoner, a lot of fun happened when the cameras were not rolling.

"I think my favourite memory was spending time with all the castmates at dinner because that's when we really bonded. Just being around, having all the food, at the first dinner, everyone was quiet and by the end of the shoot, we were picking at each others' food, yelling across the table so we just got closer and closer with each night," she said.

Brooke Shields talks about the Jonas Brothers!

Brooke Shields was on the Late Night Show last night and she mentioned her kids. Her 5 year old child loves the Jonas Brothers and she told the world of her experience!

She said, first, that it was so hard to get tickets and that she's tried mutiple times getting them before. Then she said she took the day off and got all repared, but the camera didn't work. Then she goes on to say that she had a blast and "yelled just as loud as everyone else." Everytime one of the Jonases came up, she'd hold her dauther up for one of them to "wink at her or throw sweat at her."

On her way out, she says that her daught just wanted to get out. It was (as most of you know) a mess. Brooke had to grab her daughter and exit safely. Sounds like an eventful day!

So we've found out a bit more about how the youngest of the Jonas Brothers trio spent his birthday this week.

Not only did Nick get a new Golden Retriever puppy named Elvis, he also spent a day at a Dodgers game.

Except, they were the ones playing.

Wednesday night, the Jonas Bros took Nick to Dodgers Stadium.

A source says, the family "rented out the stadium last night to play a baseball game with some friends."

Rollin' large!

They met up with at least 15 other friends and played from 10pm to a bit past midnight.

And that wasn't cheap!

For Nick's Sweet 16th present, the cost was over $30,000 for just under three hours of playing.

Turns out that just renting the stadium costs $25,000. But then to use the lights for a night game, that's an extra $5,000!

Then food and drinks can go for around $500, and if you bring your own music, it's another $500 to play it on the speakers.

Oh, and you can even opt to hire baseball players, staff members, and amenities for extra charges.

As for the JoBros, they opted to keep it simple and even decided to bring their own uniforms.

They were spotted earlier that day at a sporting goods store buying athletic pants and shirts.

Hope they had a good time.

We still find it a bit expensive!

The Jonas Brothers are classy, old-fashioned teens, according to their Camp Rock co-star Demi Lovato.

Speaking about her new friends Demi said: "They're very classy. You don't find many teenage guys who are so classy any more, old-fashioned.

"They're rock stars so you really don't expect it. They really surprise you to see how nice, intelligent and professional they are."

She added that Nick, Joe and Kevin made an effort to look after everyone on the set of the film, which premieres on the Disney Channel tonight.

The Jonas Brothers have a busy schedule, between award shows and touring, but they're adding in one extra show in L.A. on Nov. 14 to celebrate the launch of American Eagle Outfitter's new kids line, 77Kids.

Not only will the concert stream online on Nov. 16 at www.77kids.com with a peek backstage and interviews with the brothers, the Jonas Brothers are also giving seven boys and seven girls the chance to go to the concert in person, by going to the site and entering to win, starting today.

Who's rounding the bases with the Jonas Brothers?

The self-confessed New York Yankees fans were spotted yesterday at Big 5 Sporting Goods in Los Angeles scooping up some baseball gear.

“The three walked in yesterday and went straight upstairs with a few of their security guys,” a source tells E! News. “They were shopping for baseball apparel."

The source adds that Nick, Joe and Kevin might have been shopping to participate in an upcoming game that they were overheard talking about.

It seems the J.B.’s were in and out fairly quickly without much fanfare.

“As soon as they picked out their clothes, they came downstairs, paid and left,” an onlooker tells E! “No one in the store was really noticing them or going crazy for them.”

Disney Channel Spain Likes Free-to-air

Disney Channel Spain announced its new fall line up for kids and families, on the heels of record success since its July 1 launch on DTT as a free-to-air channel.

The advertising-supported Disney Channel now ranks at number one across all thematic channels and dedicated kids' channels in Spain, acccording to Disney Channel Spain's Vice President and General Manager José Vila.

The new season kicks off with Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock. Other highlights include The Cheetah Girls One World, Disney Channel Games 2008 and new episodes of popular series such as Hannah Montana, The Wizards of Waverly Place and Phineas and Ferb.

José Vila said: "Disney Channel's unprecedented success demonstrates the demand for programming that kids and families can enjoy together. Our new autumn line up offers a mix of global hit programming including the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and locally produced shows including Disney Channel Live: El Concierto, which showcases talent from the US and Spain in a celebration of music inspired by Disney Channel series and movies.”

Disney Channel is also aiming at conquering Latin America through DTT distribution. So explained Chris Ross, Entertainment President for Disney Channel Worldwide.

"In the next five years Latin America will be an economic power for us," he said. Moreover, the executive also pointed at Poland and Austria as future goals for the company. However the executive admitted the difficulty of reaching profit in Europe due to factors such as the bad situation of the advertising market, the downturn of distribution platforms for distributing the channel and in some place, restrictions on food ads addressed to children.

Finally Ross said the channel Disney XD would be launched in Europe to replace Toon Disney.

The Jonas Brothers Go “Love Bug” Bananas

The Jonas Brothers reportedly filmed scenes for their new Disney Channel TV show today in Los Angeles. False!

JustJared.com can exclusively reveal that Kevin, 20, Joe, 19, and Nick, 16, were filming their “Lovebug” music video (their second official single off their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer).

The Jonas Brothers were spotted entering their trailer for a quick costume change. To keep the music video under wraps, production assistants covered the JoBros with umbrellas and blankets as they traveled from their trailer to the music video set. You can see Jonas shoes and their bodyguard Big Rob’s shoes underneath the blankets!

The release date of the “Love Bug” music video has yet to be determined.

Yesterday, for reasons I still can’t pinpoint, I was watching the Today show, and old-school octogenarian sexpert Dr. Ruth Westheimer, who’s currently pimping her new book about kiddos and the nasty, was on. She weighed in on the Jonas Brothers and their notorious no-nookie rings after the pushy Kathie Lee Gifford brought up the issue of preggo teens and babies havin’ babies. (Jamie-Lynn Spears! Bristol Palin! Juno! Oh my!)

Dr. Ruth perceived the Jonas Brothers’ no-play pact as a fashion statement, and argued (not necessarily unreasonably), that the matter should be a personal and private one. (On a side note, when I spent two days with the Jonas Brothers during “Jonas Brothers: Live & Mobile,” I was politely asked beforehand not to ask questions about the rings because the guys didn’t really want to talk about them. They also didn’t want to discuss the now-even-more controversial rings in their August 2008 Rolling Stone magazine cover story. So, um, blame Russell Brand!) But Dr. Ruth then also made another, somewhat absurd argument against the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings, and that’s that “the other kids” could make fun of them. So much for that “who cares what other kids think?” argument!

Jonases, know this: Dr. Ruth is only 4′7,” which means you can totally take her! Then again, if she’s still around when you guys do get hitched, you know who to turn to for sex tips. Gross, I know, but she must be doing something right if she’s still doing it at 80 years old. Watch the video below, if you can handle it. Hoda Kotb can barely deal.

The Jonas Brothers give fans a quick preview for the fourth episode of their video blog series, "Band in a Bus". This time, the thirty-second video is called "Going Crazy" and it reveals their journey on the road while dropping by in several places to do live performances.

The band say that they are actually quite bored with all the same activities that they do in the bus. However, the band who recently reveal their desire to work with Britney Spears for their next project, explain that fans are "the best energy drink" that keeps them alive.

The video starts with the scene of the band's members in the bathroom, washing their faces and brushing their teeth. The video then continues with their live performance in a place loaded with thousands of fans. In one segment, the Jonas boys are seen developing a special bond with their fans. They treat them as friends, giving them their autographs and doing some photo shoots with them.



QnA with Demi Lovato


Demi Lovato is the teen sensation dubbed the new 'it' girl of pop, and it's easy to see why. She has an album coming up shortly on September 23, a guest slot on Jonas Brothers' tour, and several TV movie projects under her belt.

AceShowbiz takes the honor of having her as the Artist of the Week and interviewing the starlet, peeling what she holds for the future, her experience as a teen idol as well as her relationship with the Jonas boys.

ASB: When did you know that you wanted a career in singing and acting?

Demi: When I did Barney at age 8.

ASB: Has the pressure of fame at such a young age taken any toll on you?

Demi: There are always going to be pressures but if you have good people around you, it makes it easier to handle.

ASB: What is the coolest part of being a teen idol?

Demi: Traveling the world and sharing it with my family.
