Bayer is sending the four Grand Prize winners and their guests to Los Angeles, CA, where they will have breakfast with Nick and watch as he kicks off the opening ceremony at the JDRF Walk for the Cure event. The Grand Prize winners will also receive personal diabetes coaching support, through Bayer's partnership with Fit4D, an innovative service that provides personalized diabetes coaching with a team that includes Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs), nurses, exercise physiologists, registered dietitians and personal trainers, who integrate motivational support with fitness and nutrition planning. It has been a busy month. We got off tour and immediately went into production of our new DC show - JONAS. It is so exciting! We have completed 4-5 episodes already and they are going great. We can't wait for you to see it. We are not sure when it will start airing but we are all really proud to work with the people in the show.

We are also releasing a All Access Book from the Burning Up Tour. We picked out all the pictures and shared a lot of stuff that we hope touches our fans.

In February we will be releasing our first movie in 3D. The movie is from this summer's tour and covers a lot of the things did this summer and places that we visited. We just had our first screening and all we can say about the movie is...

Jonas Brothers feel personal connection to Hope Ball for diabetes

Nick Jonas always gets emotional when he performs A Little Bit Longer, but during Saturday night's performance at the Carousel of Hope Ball he had to fight back tears.

The song, which the 16-year-old member of the Jonas Brothers wrote, addresses his personal struggle with diabetes, a disease he was diagnosed with three years ago. "On the day that I got diagnosed, I heard about this event," Jonas said of the ball, which benefits the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes. "And I knew it was something that I wanted to be a part of. To be here tonight to perform is a dream come true for us and for me, it's truly an honor."

The diagnosis changed the family, said brother Kevin, 20.

"It was hard for all of us. When it first happened we were sitting in our house and we didn't understand what diabetes was. So immediately we went to Wikipedia and searched it online to understand what diabetes meant. Once we understood that he was going to be OK, we were way more comforted and immediately wanted to go see him," he said. "He's doing really well with it and there's times when we have to be there for each other and with Nick's diabetes there are times that you can't control it. And we just have to be there."

The event brought out many celebrities, including Melanie Griffith, Quincy Jones, Clive Davis, Kenny (Babyface) Edmonds, Sidney Poitier, Virginia Madsen, Cookie and Magic Johnson, Joan Collins, Garcelle Beauvais Nilon, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

Josh Groban, who is working on a new album with producer Rick Rubin, talked about the pull of the Jonas Brothers, joking that he was nervous to follow their act.

"The Jonas Brothers are arguably some of the biggest stars in the world right now," he said, bowing in their direction. "Kudos to the guys for coming and really showing their support and kudos to Nick for being open about it and talking about it and educating people about it."

The Jonas Brothers have a big November planned. They'll be performing at four shows during the month. Their first appearance will be on November 4th at 4:00pm as part of the Kristy Yamaguchi and Friends show. Next will be a performance on November 15th at 8:00pm at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California.

On November 29th, the JoBros will be in Las Vegas performing at the MGM Grand at 8:00pm. They'll finish off the month on November 30th with a show at the Hollywood Palladium at 8:00pm.

Timberlake and Jonas Brothers Raise $1 million!

Justin Timberlake has raised $1 million for a children's charity with the help of famous friends The Jonas Brothers, 50 Cent, Rihanna and Leona Lewis.The SexyBack hitmaker held a series of events last week to raise money for the Shriners' Hospitals for Children, an organisation that provides medical care for needy kids.
Timberlake kicked things off with a week-long golf tournament, with players including a mixture of professionals and celebrities. Star players including actor Josh Duhamel, comedian George Lopez, and former N' Sync bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick joined Timberlake on the green, while artists such as Boyz II Men, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, and Lionel Richie helped to cap off the week with a concert in Las Vegas on Friday night.
And Timberlake reveals he didn't need to pull in favours from anyone to get all the stars together for such a worthwhile charity.
He says, "I actually wrote letters. I was old fashioned. I didn't have to stalk anyone."

Jonas Brothers’ A Little Bit Longer tops the 1 million mark in sales this week, as it inches up from #16 to #15. The album took just 10 weeks to top the million mark. The trio’s eponymous sophomore album took 29 weeks to reach the milestone. As of this week, Jonas Brothers has sold 1,637,000 copies. “Burnin’ Up,” the biggest hit from A Little Bit Longer, has sold 1,210,000 downloads. That’s more than “S.O.S.,” the biggest hit from Jonas Brothers, which has sold 1,180,000 downloads.

EUROPE WAS AMAZING!

Hey everyone!

I know we are writing a lot tonight but we wanted to let you know about our trip this week to Europe.

We were asked to take our week off from the TV show to go to Europe to promote the new CD. It was amazing to see fans in other countries.

Our first stop was Milan, Italy. They had a special MTV TRL on Sunday for us. We were excited because Milan was a great stop on the Avril Lavigne tour. We were not prepared for the response. There were 20,000 people in the Plaza waiting for us and people lining the streets leading to MTV. It was crazy. Everyone had signs. Some of the signs were on huge bed sheets with pictures and drawings. Italy made us feel so welcome.

The next stop was Madrid, Spain. Last summer we had to cancel our concert in Spain because of the truckers strike. We did a signing in one of the main shopping areas. The crowd as so big and excited. They had to shut it down twice to call in extra security. We finally had to leave because the crowd was so intense. The Spanish fans made us feel so encouraged.

Then we went to Germany. As always the people were amazing. There were people outside of every venue and TV show. We always love Germany but this time we felt even more loved.

Next stop London. The UK is an amazing place and the first thing we had to do was go to our favorite French restaurant. Once again, there were people outside of every radio station, TV show, etc. It amazes us how much people go through to show us their support. Thanks

Last stop was Paris, France. We only did promotional stuff in Paris. The fans were awesome and followed us everywhere. The French fans are so passionate.

We can't wait to get back to Europe again.

THEN we flew home and stopped in Phoenix, Arizona to do music for a figure skating special. The fans made us feel so loved. Thanks for all the love.

Cowboys Call On Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers will perform at halftime of the Cowboys’ annual Thanksgiving Day game on Nov. 27 against the Seahawks at Texas Stadium, the team announced on Sunday.

In junction with The Salvation Army, the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day halftime show has served as the kickoff to the Red Kettle Kickoff drive every holiday season.

The Red Kettle campaign has traditionally been The Salvation Army’s most prominent fund-raiser. Since the Kettle Kickoff Concert started in 1997, the combined efforts of The Salvation Army and the Cowboys have raised more than $1 billion, which has been used to provide food, clothing, utility assistance and a variety of other social services to 30 million people each year. The Red Kettle tradition, which began in 1902 in San Francisco, will run from Friday, Nov. 28, through Christmas Eve. More than 25,000 volunteers will ring bells to raise money for people in need.

The event, which started in 1997, has featured entertainers such as Sheryl Crow, Toby Keith, Jessica Simpson and Destiny’s Child.

The Jonas Brothers are one of the most popular bands worldwide , featuring a trio of brothers - Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas. The group has produced three albums in the last three years, including “A Little Bit Longer,” released earlier this year.

The Jonas Brothers were nominated at the MTV Music Awards last year for “Best New Pop Band” and singles hits such as “When You Look Me in the Eyes,” was a No. 1 hit and helped the band rack up honors this past year at the Teen Choice Awards.

Sneak Peek: The Jonas Brothers' in 'Lovebug'

Get in the swing of things!

The Jonas Brothers are going retro in their new, '40s-themed video for "Lovebug."

"We had a very specific vision," Kevin told the Disney Channel, which will premiere the video on Oct. 19 at 8:55 p.m. (on both the East and West coasts). "You're part of a world that you wish you could be a part of and that's not around any more."

The clip, directed by Philip Andelman, depicts a love story between a woman and a soldier who's being shipped off to war. It stars 10,000 BC's Camilla Belle – much to the brothers' delight!

"We saw her in that [movie] and, to be honest, we all fell in love with her," said Nick. "We said why not have in her a music video?"

The Camp Rock stars play multiple characters – including members of a ballroom band – in the video, which culminates in a sweeping dance number.

On the 19th, the Disney Channel will also air a behind-the-scenes look at the making of "Lovebug" during episodes of Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place.

IRVING -- The popular pop group the Jonas Brothers will be the featured halftime entertainment during the Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against Seattle at Texas Stadium.

Kickoff is 3:15 p.m.

The Jerry Jones family has dedicated the Cowboys annual Thanksgiving Day halftime show as a national showcase to kick off The Salvation Army's annual Kettle Drive.

Other entertainers who have performed at the annual halftime event are Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Clint Black, Creed, LeAnn Rimes, Toby Keith, Destiny’s Child, Sheryl Crow, Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.

Jonas Brothers: Posh Has The Perfect Body

The Jonas Brothers have been in Paris the last few days promoting their latest album, A Little Bit Longer. Kevin, Joe and Nick performed on the French TV programs “Grand Journal” and “Star Academy”. Tomorrow (Saturday), they fly to Phoenix.

Earlier today, Joe and a pal went off to do a little sight-seeing and visited the Centre Pompidou. The pair, along with bodyguard Big Rob, stopped off for some snacks at a créperie.

The Jonas Brothers reportedly picked Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, as the person they’d most like to send into space because “she would show aliens the perfect body of a woman.”

The Jonas Brothers will headline Kristi Yamaguchi's annual televised ice show, which combines figure skating with live music.
The Olympic gold medalist and "Dancing with the Stars" 6th season champion will bring her "Kristi Yamaguchi Friends and Family" show to the US Airways Center in Phoenix Oct. 12 for one performance only.
Demi Lovato and Jordan Pruitt also will perform during the show, which features an all-star line-up of skating champions, according to the venue website.

MGM announced Monday it has added a second performance of pop rock band the Jonas Brothers because of fan demand.

The second performance will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, according to MGM spokeswoman Stephanie Heller.

Tickets priced at $89.25, $65 and $45, not including service charges, go on sale at 12 p.m. Oct. 11 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office and at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith’s Food and Drug Centers and Macy’s West at the Fashion Show Mall). Ticket sales are limited to eight per person. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 702-474-4000 or online at MGM Grand or at Ticketmaster, Heller said.

Wristband distribution will be held from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Oct. 11. A random number will then be drawn and a lineup will be in sequential order, beginning with the random number selected. Individuals must be 16 years of age to receive a wristband, and wristband guidelines will be provided at the sale site. A wristband does not guarantee that a ticket can be purchased, Heller said.

Jonas Brothers started its summer with the premiere of Disney Channel’s Original Movie "Camp Rock." Their short form reality series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream,airs on Disney Channels worldwide, and they have begun production on their new original series, J.O.N.A.S., to premiere in spring 2009 on Disney Channel, according to Heller.

Teen Music posted a short article about the Jonas Brothers. They titled it, "Forgive and Forget."

Pop trio The Jonas Brothers have forgiven comedian Russell Brand for mocking their sexual morals during Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards.

The British comedian poked fun at the pop sensations for more than half the show over their vow not to have sex before marriage, marked by the purity rings they wear.

Nick Jonas tells BBC's Radio 1: "For us it's cool to see that he recognises we are gentleman... I think he did a good job. We saw him on (U.S. late night show) Conan O'Brien and thought he was hilarious."

Jonas' amends follow Brand's apology to the group, after he was reprimanded by a string of celebrities including Jordin Sparks and Paris Hilton for hitting out at the stars.

By the end of the award show the host had sought forgiveness from the crowd: "I've gotta say sorry because I said those things about promise rings; that was bad of me. I didn't mean to take it lightly."

Luminaries attending Barbara Davis' 30th Carousel of Hope gala for juvenile diabetes Oct. 25 may want to bring along ear plugs to protect themselves from the sounds of screaming teenage girls en route into the party -- as teen idols The Jonas Brothers have been added to the lineup of performers for the evening.

The youngest one has diabetes," notes Barbara Davis, speaking of 16-year-old Nick. "That's how we got into it. Actually, I called his dad and I had to congratulate him as well as their mom on raising boys who are so well-grounded. This boy wrote a song about diabetes ("A Little Bit Longer"), and he will sing that," she reveals.

Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson lands in Washington D.C. to meet with President George Bush at the White House on Monday.

“I am heading to the White House along with all USA Olympians for an honorary visit which I am so excited about,” the 16-year-old gymnast wrote on her blog.

At the airport, one videographer asked Shawn: “Do you look up to the Jonas Brothers? Are you excited to meet President Bush?”

She responded, “Yeah, I am.”

When asked if President George Bush will take away their Gold Medals to help bail out the economy, Shawn just laughed.

Disney and Warner Bros. today announced plans for a "High School Musical" – "Twilight" crossover film that will co-star Zac Efron, the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus. Set for release in June of 2009, it has already sold $1.2 billion worth of advance tickets on Fandango.com.

The new film, tentatively titled “Twilight: The High School Musical,” will follow Bella Swan from the “Twilight” book series as she transfers to East High School and discovers that Troy Bolton (Efron) is a cousin of her vampire love Edward Cullen. In a twist from the first “Twilight” movie coming out this November, Cyrus will play Bella and Joe Jonas will take the role of Edward, who gets jealous when he discovers Bella co-starring in a musical withTroy. Nick Jonas will play Edward’s previously unseen adorable kid brother. Kevin Jonas will play a janitor.

“America’s teenage and pre-teen girls now belong to us,” Warner Bros. chairman Alan Horn and Walt Disney Pictures chairman Dick Cook said in a joint statement. “Our research shows that this film will bring the nation’s babysitting economy to a halt as girls between the ages of 9 and 17 literally move into the nation’s multi-plexes for the summer to watch ‘Twilight: The High School Musical’ in a never-ending loop.”

Responses across the country have ranged from ecstatic to incoherently insane.

Ali Lohan was not approached by JB management team

Following the reports circulating that Ali Lohan has rejected the offer from Jonas Brothers' management, the man mentioned in the article, Johnny Wright, has released a statement saying that he is not involved in any kind of encounter with the starlet. Wright emphasized that he had never even met Ali when the reports surfaced.

"Johnny Wright would like to set the record straight regarding his involvement with Ali Lohan," the press release, dated October 2 is partly read. "Johnny Wright has never met with Ali Lohan, has never been introduced to Ali Lohan nor has he had a meeting with Ali or Dina Lohan regarding Ali's music career."

He continued, "While he wishes Ali Lohan the best in all her endeavors, Mr. Wright has never had any intention of speaking with Ali Lohan regarding her career. Any story that has surfaced about such a meeting holds no merit and is completely false."

Wright Entertainment Group which is the management house of Justin Timberlake, Jonas Brothers, Janet Jackson and Ciara among others, said that there never was any interest from the group to intervene with Ali's career.

Ali, the sister of Lindsay Lohan, was said to be approached by Wright on the idea of having her music career launched. She was rumored to have turned it down due to her mother, Dina Lohan's disapproval.

NEW YORK - Jimmy Kimmel is coming back to provide more laughs for the American Music Awards.

The comedian and talk show host is slated to host the annual event on Nov. 23 live from Los Angeles on ABC. Pink and the Jonas Brothers are among those scheduled to perform.

Kimmel has hosted the American Music Awards four previous times.

In a statement, Orly Adelson, president of Dick Clark Productions, the show's producer, called Kimmel "a masterful host with incredible spontaneity and wit; audiences can expect a great night."

Kimmel's response? "I agree with Orly completely."

The Jonas Brothers catch a departing flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday.

Kevin, 20, Joe, 19, and Nick, 16, recently told MTV News that they wrote their upcoming single “Lovebug” while on the road with pal Miley Cyrus.

“We wrote it while on the Christmas break of the ‘Hannah Montana’ tour. So we were in the hotel room and sat down that night and wrote it in about 15 or 20 minutes,” Nick explained.

“The vision for the song actually came from some different inspirations,” Nick added. “But Juno was one of our favorite movies at the time, and the soundtrack is always kind of odd, so we decided to put those elements in the song, and it came very nicely.”

The Philip Andelman-directed “Lovebug” video is scheduled to be released before October 15.
