Kevin 'Beatles Movies Are An Inspiration'

Kevin Jonas dished on his new Disney Channel show JONAS [Via JonasHQ]: 'We have an amazing team around us, amazing friends. Our cast is incredible. We have an amazing family and friends, and we're just like normal guys. We like to hang out. We go shopping. Hang out with friends. We go see movies.
But we just work a lot at the same time, but we love it.'

On JONAS being like classic musical series The Monkees and The Partridge Family: 'We were actually on vacation one year, and were out by a beach when a storm came in, so it was just raining for three days. So the only thing on the TV was reruns of The Monkees for literally three days straight. It was amazing.

I definitely watched The Partridge Family. Definitely of course we've seen
the Beatles' movies, a huge inspiration. I think for us we're really excited to incorporate our music as well into this process, and that adds a whole other element for us because that's where our original passion is, in our heart. To combine those two things is really, really exciting.'

On actual Jonas memorabilia being used on set: 'All the clothes you see and the things like that on the show, Michelle Tomaszewski, our stylist, is doing the show as well. So you see those different aspects. I think something that is very personal to us is we go to a school that definitely has a uniform that we have to wear at school every day.

We are back on LA working on our TV show. It has been so much fun to see our show come together. We love our cast and crew. We have seen some of the footage and we can’t wait for you to see it in May of this year.

3D Movie:

We just saw a screening with some fans in Dallas from our Fan Club - TEAM JONAS. It was amazing. Everyone was singing, clapping and dancing. We cannot wait to hear how you feel about the movie.

3D Movie Soundtrack:

The soundtrack for the 3D movie will come out on February 24th here in the US. It will probably release just before the premiere in that country. It includes some new songs. One of the songs has never been heard before.

FanFamily Experience:

We started a new website called FanFamily Expereince (www.fanfamilyexperience.com). We have alread had over 3 Million hits. We will be doing a lot of special things to connect with our fans.

One of our first projects together will be the 3D Movie. There are already thousands of groups forming. We will be refining the website on a daily basis. This is for all the fans. We want to make this 3D Release the BIGGEST FAN EVENT IN HISTORY.

World Tour:

We will be announcing the dates for our world tour very soon. It will probably be announced at the end of February or early March. Keep checking back for tour details.

Hey everyone!

We just wanted to write to you and thank you for another amazing week. You continue to allow us to LIVE THE DREAM.

We have been busy with our new TV show. It is doing so well and we think it will be out in MAY. Our cast is amazing. The writing is so funny and smart. We cannot wait for you to see it.

This week we were able to attend a truly historic event in Washington...

The Inauguration of our new President!!!

We performed at a special Kids Inaugural Concert. It was so cool to see the First Family singing and dancing to our music. They were so amazing to us. This is a memory we will keep for the rest of our lives.

Today we went to a special screening of our new 3D movie in the Dallas Texas area. We sent out a special invitation to our Official Jonas Brothers Fan Club - TEAM JONAS. They had no idea we were coming to see it too. It was so exciting to walk into the room and see tons of fans wearing JB T-Shirts, clapping and singing all the songs. It was like being at a concert but better!

We have lots of things planned this year. We cannot wait to share the entire year with you. Let's make this the best year ever!

Kevin Jonas Wants the Oval Office to be His

Having been to the White House for a couple of times, Kevin Jonas has admitted he's been to the Oval Office and would like to have it as his own. "I'd want it for my office," he told Channel 955 in Detroit during an interview on Friday morning, January 23. He, moreover, also claimed that though visiting the White House isn't something new for him and his brothers; Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas, it is still "a whole other level of excitement" when they were asked to serve as the scavenger hunt prize for Malia and Sasha Obama earlier this week.

"We were there waiting for them as the prize at the end of the hunt," he recalled. "So when they came to their final room and opened up the door, we were there, waiting to play a couple of songs specifically for them. And we got to hang out with them."

During the interview, Kevin also took time to set the record straight on speculation claiming he and his brothers haven't befriended Taylor Swift following her split with Joe. "We are all friends with Taylor," he claimed. "We always have been friends with Taylor. She's a great girl, and she's an incredible musician. One of the coolest things is that Taylor, she's in ['Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience']. We performed along with her, and it's great. It's a lot of fun."

In addition to those issues, Kevin Jonas also discussed with Channel 955 about him being considered as the sexiest among the Jonas Brothers and chosen as one of Sexiest Men Alive by People magazine last year. Some other topics that he talked about included drinking beer with his brothers and their much-discussed purity rings.

2009 Nominees Sitting for 'All Access Grammy Special'

51st Grammy Awards nominees will sit in with CBS' Katie Couric for a special interview on "All Access Grammy Special". The likes of Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and big nominee Lil Wayne will participate on the one-on-one that airs February 4 at 9/8c on CBS News.

Timberlake shows up as a previous Grammy winner who had pocketed 6 nods in the past years. He is however, in possibility to be seven-time Grammy winner should his collaboration with Madonna in "4 Minutes" win the Best pop Collaboration with Vocals this year. Lil Wayne meanwhile, leads the nominations list this year with 8 counts. He is also one of the performers when the show goes live on February 8 at Los Angeles' Staples Center.

"Couric has an innate ability for getting people to reveal themselves in a uniquely intimate way," says executive producer Susan Zirinsky. "This broadcast highlights her talent and showcases a new side of these celebrated artists like Justin Timberlake."

Kevin Jonas Talks About Being The 'Prize' For Obama Girls' Scavenger Hunt

It seems that this week was a perfect one for teen stars everywhere to bury their feuds. On Thursday, Miley Cyrus insisted that she's friends with Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez and "loves" former boyfriend Nick Jonas.

So on Friday morning (January 23), Kevin Jonas, the Jonas Brothers' elder statesman, assured fans everywhere that the guys are on great terms with Joe Jonas' ex, Taylor Swift.

"We are all friends with Taylor," he told Channel 955 in Detroit. "We always have been friends with Taylor. She's a great girl, and she's an incredible musician. One of the coolest things is that Taylor, she's in ['Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience']. We performed along with her, and it's great. It's a lot of fun."

With that settled, Kevin opened up about Tuesday night's White House scavenger hunt, during which Sasha and Malia Obama were serenaded by the guys. "We were there waiting for them as the prize at the end of the hunt," he said. "So when they came to their final room and opened up the door, we were there, waiting to play a couple of songs specifically for them. And we got to hang out with them."

He added that although the band has been to the White House before, the coolness factor never really fades. "It is a whole other level of excitement," he said. "I have been in [the Oval Office]. I'd want it for my office."

The conversation took a turn for the awkward when 21-year-old Kevin was asked if he's ever bought alcohol for his teen brothers. "No, they don't do that. I don't think I would ever do anything like that," he said. "I guess you're just more aware of your lifestyle. For me, we're too busy to do anything [like that]."

Tension was definitely still in the air when the subject of the guys' purity rings came up. "We believe in something, and that's pretty much that, and we've talked about it enough," he said. "We try to be the guys our parents raised us to be."

Kevin Jonas called into Channel 955 in Detroit early Friday morning (January 23) to dish about his younger brothers, the Obama girls, and country singer pal Taylor Swift. Check it:

On the funniest rumor he’s heard about himself: “Oh, that I was married to a Pakistani woman. I was like, ‘Wow, that’s interesting.’”

On which brother annoys him the most: “Well, for me, none of them really annoy me. There is Frankie who wants to run into the room and jump on you to wake you up [in the morning]. That is not the most exciting thing in the world.”

Jonas Brothers 'Acting Is New For Us'

Jonas Brothers talked to MTV about their new sitcom JONAS. Nick: 'It's very exciting for us. It's been in the works for a while. It is now about us being a band and balancing a normal life. They give us freedom to add our humor in it. We're just honored to have the opportunity to try the acting thing. We're musicians..

Acting is a new thing for us. I'm very hard on myself when it comes to acting. Trying to capture my own personal sense of humor, in real life, it's very dry humor. But sometimes I can't quite master that on camera.' Joe: 'We are
trying our best, and we'll see the outcome. We really enjoy it.. but this
gives us the opportunity to keep the music involved.'

Kevin on their new fashion line: 'We have an amazing stylist. She's worked with us for almost two years, and we've really built a look together. It translates to the show as well, but more than that, we are just really happy that we have a certain kind of clothes that we like. We like what we like. You never know, we might be working on our own clothing line here and there.'

Nick on the 3-D movie: 'It gets some really personal things in there. There's one scene in particular where it captures all the things that we went through in Times Square in New York City on our album-release night, which was one of the craziest scenes. Demi Lovato dished Camp Rock sequel details to MTV [Video under!]: 'There's a 'Camp Rock' sequel. We're going to be shooting it at the end of the next year. Actually this year, woo! So, we'll be shooting it late 2009 and hopefully I'll be shooting it after I do a tour.'

Joe on possible plot lines: 'Maybe [there could be], like, a rival camp. Camp Hawaii! We've been looking into scheduling when we can do that because we've been busy with touring, but we would love to. The success from the first one, we did not expect that at all, and the possibility of a second movie would be great.'

We don't know the details of whether the JoBros busted out into song or if they where just there for a quick meet-and-greet, but we can't help but wonder... Jonas Brothers Give Acting A Shot On 'J.O.N.A.S.': 'We're Trying Our Best'

The Jonas Brothers are ready to start burnin' up your TV sets when their new TV show, "J.O.N.A.S.," debuts on the Disney Channel later this year. In the sitcom, the boys try to balance their lives between being pop stars and regular guys.

"It's very exciting for us. It's been in the works for a while," Nick told "Access Hollywood." "It is now about us being a band and balancing a normal life. They give us freedom to add our humor in it. We're just honored to have the opportunity to try the acting thing. We're musicians. ... Acting is a new thing for us."

And although the boys have a sense of humor, they admit that taking their act to the small screen hasn't been all that easy.

Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas Reunite

Dear First Family:

First off, congrats! This is truly a historic occasion. We wish you all the best as you embark on this challenging and exciting time in American history. I’m sure it will be interesting for all of us as Americans.

But next, we have to thank you for giving us an equally historic occasion: a Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas reunion hug caught on tape! That’s right. You, our country’s new first family, have brought together the former king and queen of Disney.

It’s hard to describe how overwhelming it is to see two adorable teens, who once shared a puppy love so deep that it caused Miley to highlight her hair for Nick. But footage has emerged from Monday night’s “Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future,” showing Nick hugging performers and fans who were on-stage at the end of the show as the guys finished up their performance of “Burnin’ Up.”

You can hear the fan who taped the encounter say to herself “awkward!” as Nick gets to Miley: Will he hug her, or won’t he? With baited breath and what can only be described as feeling this might be really awkward, the two former lovebirds shared a hug.

Jonas Brothers Surprise First Tweens with White House Visit

ABC News has learned that after their scavenger hunt last night, First Tweens Malia and Sasha Obama were paid a surprise White House visit by the Jonas Brothers.

The visit came after Malia, Sasha, and some of their friends from their new school Sidwell Friends saw two new Disney movies -- High School Musical 3 and Bolt -- and participated in a scavenger hunt in which they ran around their new home, learning about this history of the White House. The duo, along with lil bro Nick will be performing alongside Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus at the Kids’ Inaugural: We Are The Future celebration, hosted by new First Lady Michelle Obama.

Nick, 16, dished to People about what songs he thinks the trio would be performing. He shared, “We know Sasha and Malia [Obama] are fans of ‘Burning Up,’ so we’ll be playing that.”

Jonas Brothers have reportedly increased security after a group of fans began running off with their underwear. During their recent tour, the boys began noticing pairs of boxer shorts disappearing from dressing rooms.

They initially thought it was a joke, but when notes began to turn up in their bags saying: 'Your undies are safe with us.. The Undie Snatchers!,' they hired more security staff to keep their possessions safe.

Jonas Description: Kevin, Joe and Nick Lucas are three extraordinarily talented teenage brothers who make up the world's most popular rock band, JONAS, in Disney Channel's new comedy series of the same name.

While doing their best to live ordinary lives, albeit with sleek guitars, concert tours, cool clothes and throngs of ardent fans following their every move, the guys always seem to find themselves smack in the middle of absurd situations.

The series is set in the Lucas family's New Jersey home (a converted fire
station on Jonas Street, the inspiration for their band's name) and at their private school, Horace Mantis Academy. There the brothers experience all the fun and at times unusual situations that come with being teenage rock stars.

They're accompanied by their childhood friend, fashionista Stella Malone,
who helps keep the brothers grounded while making sure they always look their best. Along for the ride is Stella's gregarious best friend and the school's star athlete, Macy Misa, who is also the self-proclaimed #1 JONAS fan.

Luckily Kevin, Joe and Nick don't have to experience teen years without the help of their loving family. Their dad, Tom, is the band's manager and the boys' hero. His dedication to his family, passion for his sons' music and his kid-at-heart antics keep the family close-knit. Monitoring the brothers' daily lives is their mother, Sandy, who does her best to maintain a normal grounded family.

Little brother Frankie has a mischievous heart-of-gold and keeps these brothers on their toes. The family wouldn't be complete without The Big Man, the JONAS bodyguard. Home life comes with a few rock-star embellishments for the Lucas brothers: The bedroom loft they share comes complete with specialized bunks, musical instruments, three fire poles for quick entrance into the kitchen and an expansive closet with a touchpad computer for quick fashion-icon assembly.

Despite their best efforts to keep things normal, the brothers' off-stage life
can get as lively as a sold out concert performance. Whether it's re-creating the family's destroyed home movie collection, judging a beauty pageant, crushing on their classmates..

..meeting the Queen of England or taking the trash out to be greeted by a mob of hysterical fans, the brothers always seem to be walking a comically fine line between being average teenagers and chart-topping rock stars.

What is the FanFamily Experience?

There will be a variety of activities and events that allow us to join forces on everything we do this year – from the 3D movie to the World Tour to the release of our new CD. But our first FanFamily project is to make the OPENING WEEKEND OF THE 3D MOVIE the BIGGEST OPENING WEEKEND EVER for a 3D movie.

Besides reading letters and watching some of your videos, we want to GET TO KNOW YOU – the FanFamily - better by working together in some new and exciting ways!

As we all know, updates have been coming in later than usual these few days and perhaps the upcoming weeks/months. This is because the three of us (Atiqah, Amelia and Charlene) are all schooling right now and we all know how difficult school can get whatnot with the homework and tests all piled up as if there's no tomorrow. So, we hope you would understand our situation.

As students, our main priority has got to be school work of course! So, if you notice that our updates are coming later than usual, we hope you'll understand that it's because we have tons of school work or we've got tests/exams to study for. (:

And if you notice that there are no updates for a particular day, please understand that the three of us were/are not able to update because of something extremely important. Don't worry, we will never abandon the site unless stated. (:

If we ever ever leave the site not updated for more than three days, here are the possible reasons as to why that ever happened:

1. We fell out of bed, knocked our head real hard, had a concussion and had absolutely no idea who the Jonas Brothers are.
2. We disappeared from Mother Earth for whatever weird reasons.
3. The internet connection in the whole of Singapore is down.

Hmm. So, we can safely conclude that all of the above are very unlikely to happen and so you won't have to worry about not seeing the site updated daily (we'll try our utmost best!).

But right now, what we hope from all of you is for your kind understanding that we're just normal students like you (unless you're not a student..) and in Singapore, you know how education can be like. Also, this is why we need helping hands on the site!
