Jonas Brother Global Tour Powerhouse

jonas-tour.JPGJonas Brothers' fan purchased over 800,000 tickets for the upcoming World Tour resulting in sold-out arena shows in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Houston, Pittsburgh, Edmonton, New Orleans and Atlanta.

Second dates were immediately added in Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Vancouver. In addition, the Jonas Brothers sold out five arena shows in the New York area. The tour will include a massive 140-foot plus stage centered in the arena.

The show will feature cutting edge technology used in a one-of-a-kind circular water screen, multi-color laser effects, motion automated video screens, a giant crane levitating over the audience plus other surprises that will bring the tour to the next level of concert entertainment.

Starting on May 17 in Monterrey, Mexico, Jonas Brothers will bring their world tour to Latin America for six dates in countries such as Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina. Demi Lovato, will be opening all Latin American shows.

After a brief visit to Europe in June including sold-out dates in Madrid, Paris, London, the band will tour North America and then return to Europe for a full continental tour in October and November of this year. Live Nation CEO said: '

Ticket sales for this tour have been phenomenal. They have already sold out arena dates in 13 major cities, including Madrid, London, Paris. Nick on Miley's "Prine Charming"

Pop & Hiss sat down with the Jonas Brothers at the group's Los Angeles studio this week, and one thing's for certain: The Mouse won't let these boys rest for a minute. The Disney act, which recently released a 3-D concert film, will be back on tour this summer with a pair of new albums to draw material from, all to the delight of their devoted cadre of screaming young girls.

This summer, the Jonas Brothers will release a new full-length, as well as a soundtrack to their upcoming Disney Channel series. The latter will contain eight or nine original songs, and the new tour will see the Jonas Brothers performing in-the-round on an extremely mobile 144-foot stage, one that Kevin says will keep every audience member within 60-feet of at least one Jonas Brother.

Also, whereas last year's tour setup implemented shoots of fire, the boys say this year will emphasize the cooling powers of H20. Watch the video above to see some early renderings of the stage.

Pop & Hiss grilled the act on the TV series and the new album. "We've taken definitely a step in a new direction, added a lot of horns -- definitely getting a lot more funky" Kevin said of the upcoming set, due in June. He also hints that a cover of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" might be in the act's future.

The Jonas Brothers didn't seem bothered by what many considered were the poor box-office results of the 3-D film, speaking instead about what they learned from watching themselves on screen. But what did they think of the recent episode of "South Park," which had the boys fending off a fire-breathing Mickey Mouse?

"To be on an episode of ‘South Park’ is kind of an honor," said Nick

Jordin Sparks chatted to E! about going on tour with the Jonas Brothers in June. Are you excited? I am so stoked. What I've got confirmed so far are the U.S. tour dates, and it is a pretty long tour. I think it's close to 50 dates, and they keep adding more.

I met them a couple years ago, and they are really great people. We've kept in contact and our paths have crossed. I am very excited to go on tour with them. It'll expose me to a whole bunch of other fans.

Are you ready for the romance rumors to start? Because you know they are going to. That is so funny, because I have had so many people tell me that and I am like, 'Oh great, here we go.' It is really funny but I am ready.. Bring it on!

So which one would you prefer to have the rumor with? I don't know, because I think it would be scandalous on either side, because I think Kevin and Joe are taken at the moment and Nick is a lot younger than me. [Laughs]

Who do you think will win American Idol? You know, I actually really like Adam Lambert. But there is a lot of talent this year, so it's pretty hard. I haven't just voted for one person. I tend to vote for, like, seven people.

Jonas Brothers revealed to Life Story what it takes to date one of them! NICK: 'We are the type of guys who prefer that we ask a girl out instead of the other way around. We were raised to be gentlemen! All of us prefer to do the asking and we always pay on date.

I notice a girl's smile, if she looks like a happy person or not. A beautiful smile can tell you what's in someone's heart. [Like Miley!] One I start getting to know someone, then I'll notice that I'm feeling relaxed and comfortable and then I really know I like that person.

Nick: 'The title is a bit of poetry we came up with on the set for the TV show. Lines are something that someone feeds you, whether it's good or bad. Vines are the things that get in the way of the path that you're on..

..And trying times, well, obviously we're younger guys, but we're aware of what's going on in the world and we're trying to bring some light to it.'

They decided to explore a few new sounds, like the horn section that fleshes out the Weezer-ish 'Poison Ivy', a song about a toxic girl you can't resist. Joe:

We were really inspired by the Zutons. We heard their new record, You Can Do Anything, when we were in Europe last year and got everyone around us hooked on it. The horns just keep sounding good!

Joe Jonas interview excerpts from Birmingham News. How does Joe feel about being called the cute and funny one? 'I think it's fine, because we're so used to it now, and that's what people say. And it's kind of true, we're all different in our own ways. My brothers are great guys and they definitely live up to their nicknames.'

Joe said he cannot discuss the tour special effects, which will include a circular water screen that's supposed to be one of a kind. Nor is he positive that they can beat the Backstreet Boys, who made a spectacular entrance at the BJCC in November 1999, flying from the ceiling on neon-lit surfboards.

Joe, 'It would be a hard thing to top the Backstreet Boys. but we have an amazing team that has ideas that would blow your mind away.' Their publicist revealed this: a 140-foot stage, multi-colored lasers and a giant crane that will levitate over the audience. Joe, 'I don't really judge people on their own thing, but for us, individually, we don't think that's necessary to get the audience excited. We do play with the audience, do play with the girls sometimes. I don't know about taking our
shirts off right now, maybe we'll do short sleeves or tank tops.'

Jonas Brothers Want To BUY Marion Davies Beverly Glen Area MANSION

Jonas Brothers are hoping to purchase the Beverly Glen area home of late silver screen star Marion Davies, reports PR Inside. Pyschic Kenny Kingston insists that the estate comes with an eerie past, including high-profile affairs, illegitimate children, outrageous parties and a mysterious fire which almost wrecked the place 20 years ago:

'I've visited that home and it's frequented by spirits, good and bad. [Marion Davies lived there and Joseph Kennedy had an affair with both her and Gloria Swanson there.] The house has a history of bad health and, therefore, the Jonas boys will need to guard their health in this house. The place should be blessed before they move in.'

The brothers have reportedly already bought Armani Casa furniture for their
new pad, which sits across the road from the family's existing compound, even though the sale has yet to go through. The boys have reportedly hired top house designer Kenneth Bordewick to advise them on the decor. Sources claim Bordewick has already taken a walk around the grounds.
