Just when you thought three Jonas brothers and one outspoken Cyrus were enough for you, comes little brother Frankie Jonas and litttle sister Noah Cyrus. The families of both are already grooming these youngins for a life in the spotlight. The duo premiered their flick, “Ponyo,” on Sunday in L.A.
They may not be a “couple” like Nick and Miley apparently are (er, once again), but they do seem to be good friends already at the tender ages of 8 (Frankie) and 9 (Noah). And, they’ve both already perfected their patented red carpet poses, which includes peace signs and air kisses, so they’re more ready for Hollywood than we thought!
“Ponyo” is about a goldfish princess (Noah) who becomes friends with a human boy (Frankie) while trying to fulfill her wish of becoming a human. The film in not in 3-D (unlike their older siblings’ concert flicks were), but it does come from Japanese animated mastermind Hayao Miyazaki. So, we’re betting it’ll be pretty good.
If Miley and the JoBros don’t watch themselves, this young pair just might surpass them in fame. You never know: The original Bonus Jonas might even transform into Supreme Jonas.
What do you think of Noah and Frankie doing a movie together? Will you be seeing “Ponyo”?
Anyone remotely familiar with the Jonas Brothers knows that they have a pretty good sense of humor. But in case you have any lingering doubt, JONAS co-star Chelsea Staub confirmed that fact to Celebuzz at the Disney Virtual Fashion Show on Tuesday night.
Staub—who plays Stella Malone on the Jonai's TV series—reveals that Kevin, Joe and Nick relieved the boredom of downtime on the set by pranking the crew—including her.
"We are all under the age of 21 and we’re working on a set for twelve hours a day for six months so we definitely got in trouble," Staub recalls. "One day I came back to my dressing room and Joe had stolen all of my furniture, everything from the hangers down to the light bulbs. And I was under the impression that I had been fired because they put a note in there from my producer so I was heartbroken trying not to cry."
Worse, when Staub decided to dish out a little payback, Joe pulled an even more devastating prank on her.
"I had my whole revenge planned out and then he got me again, even worse," Staub admits. "This time they had hidden cameras and hired actors and they’re releasing it. So you get to see me almost crying. They’re really good at it."
Hmm; seems like Joe is a big fan of trying to make girls cry these days.
Hopefully the footage of the prank will end up somewhere in the extras of the JONAS box set.
I checked it out already, the DVD's going to be released in Singapore on the 7th July! For more information, visit this website http://www.scorpioeast.com.sg/JBConcert/ NOW!

This TMZ segment aired on June 24th, late at night and also yesterday. I taped it but I forgot to upload it. Someone already posted it on Youtube so I’ll just post that version. It was of Nick Jonas in Washington D.C. and a family saw him. He was mistaken as Kevin Jonas and Nick acts like it didn’t happen.
DENVER - As the Jonas Brothers took on "Gotta Find You" (one of the teen sensations' many earnest love ballads) halfway through their Pepsi Center concert Wednesday night, frontman Joe Jonas led his brothers to a satellite stage.
That platform then rose 20 feet into the air and, for three or four minutes, the famous JoBros were that much closer to their adoring fans in the cheap seats.
Toward the end of the song, Joe gave the lead vocals to the audience. It was a flawless handoff - one that saw the pitch jump a full octave as thousands of preteen girls took over the singing duties.
Earplugs were in fierce demand Wednesday night, as young girls have a way of praising their idols with a screech that is slightly lower in tone than that of a dog whistle. The glow sticks, camera phones and "I (heart) Nick" signs were plentiful as the brothers (and their 10-piece band) threw down a 90-minute set of music that alternated between immature kiddie pop and more thoughtful power pop.
That's right, the Jonas Brothers are trying to grow up.
The day before they played the sold- out Pepsi Center, they learned that their brand-new record, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. In its first week of release, the CD sold nearly 250,000 copies - an especially impressive feat given that their previous full-length, "A Little Bit Longer," occupied the same spot on the chart less than a year ago when it was released.
The group opened its set with a groove-rooted "Paranoid," a song that defines the preteen spirit in 2009. "That's Just the Way We Roll," an "oldie" from 2007's eponymous full-length, had the brothers using the rotating center of their in-the-round stage to their advantage. As Kevin and Joe ran the length of the stages, Nick stood stoic and strong on the rotating circle.
They brought out a four-piece horn section for the new "Poison Ivy" and moved directly into the pogo-pop of "Hold On." Later on, Nick played a miniature solo set on a white baby grand piano.
"Before I came here, I was in Washington, D.C.," Nick told his attentive fans, mid-song. "I was there to encourage them to contribute to what's called a special diabetes program. . . . I've always said I'm not going to let this (diabetes) slow me down. Yesterday, I met the president and we found out we got our second No. 1 record. You tell me, Denver. Has it slowed me down?"
His story is one that connects with kids and parents. In the live show, Nick is the multi-instrumentalist hero, while Joe simply has the best voice of the bunch and Kevin is the good-natured-yet-often-ignored guy.
There were plenty of crowd-pleasers: "Much Better" hinted at a more mature songwriting process. "Year 3000" was a reminder of the boy band's Disneyrific past. The group threw props to the moms in the crowd with a teeny Neil Diamond cover, "Sweet Caroline."
It was just like a Kiss concert - completely choreographed, awesomely hilarious and fabulously over-the-top.

Jonas Brothers' new album "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" debuts at number 1 on Billboard Hot 200, putting aside last week's chart-topper Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D." to the second place. The boys' album has sold more than 247,000 copies in its first week on sale, while the Peas' effort manages to add 148,000 after garnering 304,000 units last week.
This is the second time Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas have their record debuting atop the U.S. albums chart. Last year, their album "A Little Bit Longer" also directly soared to the top spot on the chart, selling around 525,000 units in its opening week.
Back to Billboard Hot 200, sitting at number 3 is Dave Matthews Band's "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King", and lingering at number 4 is Eminem's "Relapse" which opened big with 608,000 selling point but this week pulls in only 72,000 copies.
Rounding the top 5 is Incubus' greatest hits collection "Monuments and Melodies" with 70,000. And, following at the next places are Lady GaGa's "The Fame" and Chickenfoot's self-titled album "Chickenfoot" which sit at number 6 and 7 respectively.

Videos/Daily Updates From the Jonas Brothers World Tour!

The Jonas Brothers are back! They never went away, you say? Fair. But more specifically, they are back on top -- of the music sales charts, at least, with their latest release, Lines, Vines, and Trying Times, which hit shelves a week ago. The band also just launched their latest tour last Saturday in Dallas (with a surprise visit from Miley Cyrus, but more on that in a bit).In between tour dates and promoting their album, I managed to spend a few minutes on the phone with the brains behind the operation, youngest brother Nick Jonas, and here's what he had to say about everything from his favorite song of the summer to his reaction after meeting President Barack Obama.
On having a No. 1 album twice:
"I think to have a No. 1 album is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But to have it happen twice is just truly amazing, and we're so thankful to the people who went out and got it. The fans make it possible."On his favorite new band, Honor Society, which is going on tour with the Jonas Brothers this summer:
"The thing that really got me about them is that not only are they a pop-rock band, but they also have some R&B vocal stylings. The lead singer, Mike Bruno, has got some of the same influences as me -- Stevie Wonder and Prince. They're trying to infuse those sounds into rock music, as well."On recently meeting President Barack Obama:
"You know, it was fairly brief. He said hello and thanks for playing for his daughters. I said it was a pleasure to meet him, he said, 'You, too,' and then we took a photo and that was it. But it was really cool to meet him."On the recent dust-up between will.i.am and Perez Hilton at the Much Music Video Awards:
"We weren't around when it happened. We actually went back to the hotel and went to bed and woke up and saw some of what happened. But it's an unfortunate incident. And I think that hopefully they'll both work it out."On convincing ladyfriend Miley Cyrus to appear onstage at last Saturday's tour kick-off to sing the duet "Before the Storm":
"That song means a lot to both of us and to have the opportunity to play it live was great. It just came about. We were both excited about doing it."On his summer Must List:
"As far as music goes, there's a band I liked a couple of years ago that I just recently rediscovered. I guess you can call it taking it off the shelf, kind of dusting it off. It's a Boston-based band called Damone -- kind of power-pop meets metal. It's pretty good. There is a girl lead singer backed up by like five guys. It's a really cool sound. I listened to it the other day again and just fell right back in love with it. There's one particular song called "You're the One," and it's fantastic."On the track from Lines, Vines, and Trying Times you should be listening to:
"A song called 'Much Better.' It's got some buzz because its about something personal that we wrote about. It's a great song, and I think it's a prime example of one of those times when we were able to take something going on in our lives, write about it, and kind of infuse the Neil Diamond sound that we were talking about for this record. It's got the horns on it, and it's got a great, kind of feel-good vibe to it. If you listen to the song you get a pretty clear picture of what it's about, but that's kind of where I'll leave it I guess."
Jonas Brothers' Lines, Vines and Trying Times Debuts at # 1; Second # 1 Debut in Ten Months
BURBANK, Calif., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Jonas Brothers' Lines, Vines and Trying Times debuts at # 1 on theBillboard Top 200 today, selling nearly 250,000 units, a mere ten months after their third studio album A Little Bit Longer debuted at the top of the charts. Jonas Brothers are the only act to have two # 1 debuts within a ten month period; only Jay-Z came close with two # 1 debuts twelve months apart in December 2006 and December 2007. Their triumphant return to the # 1 slot is one of 2009's top debuts, and follows the kick off of their Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 this weekend at the new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas in front of nearly 50,000 fans. The tour opened to rave reviews and decibel busting cheers for Jonas Brothers' "in the round" concert.
In addition to the Jonas Brothers' # 1 debut in the US, Lines, Vines and Trying Times debuted # 1 in Canada, Spain,Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Central America. Jonas Brothers hosted and performed their hit singles "Paranoid" and "Burning Up" this weekend on the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto. Lines, Vines and Trying Times also debuted top ten in the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, New Zealand and Ireland.
Jonas Brothers have built an astounding presence on line, and boast 1.2 million Facebook friends, 1.3 million mySpace friends and 1.3 million Say Now friends. On YouTube, they are the # 1 most subscribed musician channel and # 5 overall. It is no surprise that Lines, Vines and Trying Times catapulted to # 1 on iTunes on its first day.
Jonas Brothers created a media frenzy leading up to the release of their new album. They held weekly Facebook chats with their fans, taking their questions, and previewing songs from the new album. They performed live on The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America in Central Park, Jimmy Kimmel Live from Wembley Arena, and to the largest crowd in history at The Today Show in Rockefeller Plaza. Jonas Brothers were also guests on Larry King Live, and received 8 nominations for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. Jonas Brothers also return for their second cover story in ten months for Rolling Stone with the new issue hitting stands this Friday. Their cover from last year was the magazine's highest selling issue of the year.
Critics have taken note of their authentic musicality. The New York Times stated, "On 'Lines, Vines and Trying Times' the Jonas Brothers continue to specialize in the smartly straightforward: neatly constructed pop-rock songs with shades of the Beatles and the Brill Building." Billboard's review stated, "'Paranoid' furthers the brothers' evolution as craftsmen of catchy and original-sounding hooks. This songs shines on its own musical merit."
Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 sold nearly 1 million tickets in its first week on sale, and this Spring, they played to over 200,000 fans in South America. They recently returned from Europe, playing three sold out shows in Madrid,Paris and London. Jordin Sparks and Honor Society are guests on the sold out tour, which includes 5 sold out NY area shows and 3 sold out Staples Center shows in LA.
"Jonas Brothers have become a true global touring powerhouse," said Michael Rapino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation, the producer of the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009. "They are in the midst of a hugely successful run of North American stadiums and arenas and then will move on to top arenas in cities across Europe in the fall. The growth of their worldwide fan base has been nothing short of explosive and the momentum we have created together will enable us to continue to develop new territories around the world as we move forward with this unstoppable band."
Earlier this year, Jonas Brothers received their first Grammy nomination, and have won a slew of awards from around the world, including an American Music Award, as well as multiple Kids' Choice and Teen Choice awards. Worldwide, Jonas Brothers have sold over 8 million albums, and have garnered 36 gold and platinum album certifications.
Lines, Vines and Trying Times has been heralded as Jonas Brothers' most musically ambitious album to date. The future is bright and limitless.

Remember how, when the Jonas Brothers' movie underperformed a few months back, everyone was shouting about it being the end of the sibling squad's career.
Well, the doomsayers can suck it (at least for now, more on that later): Those JoBros are No. 1.
For the second time in 10 months, the Disney-backed trio opened on top of the album charts, with their latest, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, selling 247,000 copies, per Nielsen SoundScan.
While that was easily enough to dominate all comers last week, it wasn't without an asterisk...
Kevin, Joe and Nick's previous chart topper, last August's A Little Bit Longer, debuted with nearly twice the sales of Lines.
Anyhow, following a series of dates in South America and Western Europe, the bros kicked off the North American leg of their world tour on Saturday at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. Miley Cyrus made a cameo, performing the Lines duet Before the Storm.
With the Jonases on top, the Black Eyed Peas slipped to No. 2, selling 148,000 copies of The E.N.D. It had been their first-ever chart topper.
Incubus last cracked the charts three years ago when Light Grenades exploded at No. 1, and while the band has been on a relative break as of late, its double-disc retrospective, Monuments and Melodies, debuted at No. 5, selling 70,000.
Overall sales were up 7 percent from last week, but down 19 percent compared with the same week last year.
Here's a Top 10 recap:
- Lines, Vines and Trying Times, Jonas Brothers
- The E.N.D., Black Eyed Peas
- Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, Dave Matthews Band
- Relapse, Eminem
- Monuments and Melodies, Incubus

Nick Jonas sits tall as he testifies during a Senate hearing on Wednesday afternoon (June 24) in Washington, D.C.
The 16-year-old musician spoke on behalf of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation on the need for federal funding for Type 1 Diabetes research.
Nick was joined by TV veteran Mary Tyler Moore and boxer Sugar Ray Leonard.
Check out Nick’s speech below.
Good morning. My name is Nick Jonas, and I’d like to thank you for having me here today. I’d like to share my story of living with type 1 diabetes, and talk about the need to fund research to find a cure.
First, I would like to thank you, Senator Collins, for chairing this hearing and for being such a champion for all of us with diabetes. Everyone here today for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Children’s Congress is grateful for your leadership on the Senate Diabetes Caucus and your commitment to people with type 1 diabetes. We are lucky to have you pushing for policies that will bring us closer to a cure.
In one way, or another I have spent most of my life performing. I’ve been writing songs since I can remember, and I love sharing my passion for music. As a little kid, I sang in the choir in my dad’s church, and then performed on Broadway. As the Jonas Brothers, my brothers Joe, Kevin and I have written songs, made albums and toured the country, playing our music for people all over America.
It was during a concert tour in 2005 that I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. My brothers were the first to notice that I had lost a lot of weight – fifteen pounds in two weeks. I was thirsty all the time and had a bad attitude, which isn’t like me at all because I’m a really positive person. It would have been easy to blame my symptoms on a hectic schedule. But my family knew I had to get to a doctor.
The normal range for blood sugar is between 70 and 120. When we got to the doctor’s office, we learned that my blood sugar was over 700. The doctor said I had type 1 diabetes, but I had no idea what that meant. The first thing I asked her was, “Am I going to die?” She assured me that I wasn’t going to die, but that I’d have to manage this disease for the rest of my life. We went right to the hospital where I spent three days, including a crash course in getting my blood glucose levels in control and living with diabetes.
It hasn’t been easy, but diabetes technology has really helped me to manage my diabetes. At first, I took insulin shots, but it was just too hard on the road to give myself shots. I switched to a pump, which has been great. Since then, my average blood glucose levels have come down, and I’m able to use the pump to better estimate how much insulin I need based on the carbs I eat. I am also considering a continuous glucose monitor, but for now, I still prick my finger to check my blood sugar. I do that up to 12 times a day, including right before I began this testimony.
While technology has made it much easier for me to manage my diabetes, technology is not a cure. Insulin is not a cure. Like everyone here today, I know that the promise of a cure lies only in research. I am grateful that Congress renewed the Special Diabetes Program last year, which has helped researchers make important discoveries into what causes type 1 diabetes. This vital program has also funded research to test new drugs and therapies that could treat or cure patients with type 1 diabetes, and may even lead to an artificial pancreas one day. I ask that each of you join me in supporting the renewal of the Special Diabetes Program next year so that the researchers can continue their work on a cure for our disease. My life depends on it. All our lives depend on it.
After I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I wrote a song called A Little Bit Longer about dealing with diabetes. I’d like to submit a copy of the full song for the record, but I’d like to read one of the verses, which explains my outlook on life with diabetes.
All this time goes by
Still no reason why
A little bit longer
And I’ll be fine
Waitin’ on a cure
But none of them are sure
A little bit longer
And I’ll be fine
Diabetes has changed my life. But I know that I’ve benefited from the government’s investment in diabetes research. With the help of Congress, I’ll only have to wait a little bit longer for a cure.
In the meantime, I’ve decided not to let diabetes slow me down. In just the last two months, my brothers and I launched a new TV show, released our fourth album and began a world concert tour. My approach to managing diabetes is to focus on simple wins — little things I can do each day to achieve my goals. Over time, these everyday victories can make a big difference in your life — just like every research advancement moves us along on our path to a cure. While on that path, I want to be a positive face for diabetes. I want to show kids with type 1 diabetes – like all the kids sitting with me today – that they can live with diabetes and still make their dreams come true.
Thank you for the opportunity to appear before you today, and thank you for your commitment to diabetes research. With your help, a little bit longer and we will all be fine.

It takes more than another Jet Ski ride with Miley Cyrus to pull Nick Jonas away from his brothers and his tour. It takes official White House business.
After spending quality time with Sasha and Malia Obama on two previous occasions, the little JoBro had an important date with the president yesterday.
The 16-year-old is in Washington, D.C., to meet with lawmakers on behalf of diabetes research. He'll testify before the Senate Homeland and Government Affairs Committee at a hearing today, but yesterday he started at the very top, meeting with Barack Obama for the first time.
The teen was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes three years ago and works with the Juvenile Disease Research Foundation. In typical Jonas fashion, he wore a button-down shirt and jacket with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows for his face time with the commander in chief. He later met with Sen. Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey on Capitol Hill.
Sugar Ray Leonard and Mary Tyler Moore are among the other boldfaced names joining him on his mission today.
We can see the bumper stickers now—"Nick Jonas for President!"

Nick Jonas might be the youngest third of teen phenomenon band the Jonas Brothers at 16, but it seems he's already got his priorities straight when it comes to speaking out about juvenile diabetes.
Nick, who revealed he has Type 1 diabetes in 2007, first met with President Barack Obama at the White House for a photo with the commander-in-chief and children living with diabetes.
He then attended a meeting set up by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Children's Congress on Capitol Hill in the office of Democrat Sen. Frank Lautenberg from New Jersey. Nick and his brothers Kevin and Joe created the Change for the Children Foundation, which donates money to charities benefiting children who are disadvantaged or ill.
He's also scheduled to testify today before a Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing on federal funding for diabetes research.

I think Nick Jonas has a not-so-secret twin. Actor Jesse Eisenberg (at left) is regularly mobbed by screaming tweens who’ve mistaken him for the Jonas Brother.
He starred in “Adventureland” but claims he’s not famous enough for his own celebrity sightings, but he looks enough like Nick to get asked for his autograph.
“I get recognized as a Jonas Brother all the time. I went to a funeral and this girl ran up to me out of breath. She lives across the street from the cemetery and she was hyperventilating because she thought I was a Jonas Brother,” said Eisenberg, who’s also a pretty good ringer for Andy Samberg.
“Someone thought I was a Jonas Brother on a plane coming from New York to L.A. - I don’t know their names so I’m sure it’s the Jewish-looking one!
“What would be a good idea is signing their names for an autograph. It would be subtle revenge although they’d be happy because it’s a better autograph than mine!”

The Jonas Brothers and Hanson sure seem to have a lot of cosmetic similarities: they’re both bands of three brothers named after their surname who make girls go bananas. But there’s actually more to it than that. With the Jonas Brothers hitting the road for their World Tour 2009 (check out photos here) and word of a new Hanson release on the horizon, Rolling Stone took a closer look at how the two bands line up:“Poison Ivy”
Hanson recorded a cover of the Coasters’ 1959 track about a promiscuous woman on their 1995 independent release Boomerang. Their take features the Hansons (then aged 15, 12 and 10) singing in three-part harmony over an unexpectedly techno-sounding beat. Eldest brother Isaac — the only one past puberty — sang lead, as he did on much of Hanson’s earlier material.
Jonas Brothers penned an original track using the poisonous plant as a metaphor for a relationship you can’t get away from on their new Lines, Vines and Trying Times. Middle brother Joe sings most of the track, though youngest Nick handles the funky interlude on the bridge.Jonny Lang
Hanson featured the acclaimed blues guitar prodigy (and older brother of this season’s American Idol contestant Jesse Langseth) on 2000’s This Time Around including the funky cha-cha “You Never Know” and the angsty break-up tune “Hand in Hand.”
Jonas Brothers brought Lang on board for Lines, Vines and Trying Times‘ “Hey Baby” which blends Lang’s blues with a funk similar to Jonas’ “Poison Ivy” for another relationship lament.Steve Greenberg
Hanson were discovered by Greenberg in 1996, who signed them to his then-employer, Mercury Records. In 2007, Greenberg re-launched S-Curve records, now the home of Tinted Windows, Taylor Hanson’s side project with James Iha, Cheap Tricks’ Bun E. Carlos and Fountains of Wayne’s Adam Schlesinger.
Jonas Brothers were signed to Columbia Records by Greenberg in 2005 before landing a deal with their current label, Hollywood Records.Adam Schlesinger
Hanson have known Schlesinger since the mid-’90s, and now he and Taylor form one-half of pop supergroup Tinted Windows.
Jonas Brothers worked with Schlesinger on their 2006 debut It’s About Time, co-writing “I Am What I Am” with the rocker.Robert Schwartzman
Hanson recorded “Wake Up” for the 2001 soundtrack to Princess Diaries, which co-starred the Rooney frontman.
Jonas Brothers co-wrote “Letting You Down” with Schwartzman and performed the track at one of their sold-out Madison Square Garden gigs last year. Rooney also opened for the Jonas Brothers in 2008.SNL Skits
Hanson appeared on the show in December 1997, making a cameo in a skit called “Torturing Hanson” in which Will Ferrell and episode host Helen Hunt tried to inflict the pain of repeated “MMMBop” listenings upon Isaaac, Taylor and Zac.
Jonas Brothers appeared on the show in February 2009, making a cameo in a skit in which Alec Baldwin played the older brother who Joe, Nick and Kevin were kicking out of the band.Grammy Awards
Hanson were nominated for Best New Artist in 1998, but lost to Paula Cole.
Jonas Brothers were nominated for Best New Artist in 2009, but lost to Adele.Charity
Hanson has been raising money to fight poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa since the release of 2007’s The Walk. The band has also been leading one-mile walks before their concerts to raise funds and awareness.
Jonas Brothers founded the Change for the Children foundation to raise money for organizations such as the American Diabetes Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.Taking Their Friends on Tour
Hanson brought fellow Tulsans Admiral Twin on 1998’s Albertane Tour, and in recent years chosen to bring back opening acts they’ve befriended for another outing.
Jonas Brothers chose Honor Society, an act they’ve befriended since discovering last year, to open their summer tour. Each other
Hanson have told various media outlets they wish the Jonas Brothers luck, with Taylor telling MSNBC, “I hope they can translate what they’ve done into a career — a long career — in a similar way that we’ve been able to for many years.”
Jonas Brothers referred to the inevitable comparisons in “That’s Just the Way We Roll” off 2007’s Jonas Brothers, singing “You got moves, I got shoes, let’s go dancing/pop and lock, battle dance, against Hanson.”
If the Jonas Brothers‘ first moment on the cover of Rolling Stone found them reaching the height of teen pop stardom, their latest — on stands this week — finds them pushing for an even loftier goal: musical credibility. (Click above for exclusive footage from their new RS cover shoot.)
“I think we are working to make that trade without having to give anything up,” Kevin Jonas tells Rolling Stone in our cover story. (Check out photos from their Rolling Stone cover shoot here.) “But I think it will take time, because of where we came from. I would honestly say to anybody, if you were in a band like us, you would take advantage of those platforms too. It’s easy for people to say, ‘No, I’m a real rock & roller,’ but I think you do what you’ve got to do.”
Our Jenny Eliscu spent time with the brothers in Los Angeles as they prepared to hit the road in support of their most ambitious album yet, Lines, Vines and Trying Times. The album, the tour and much of what the band does these days seems designed to help facilitate the leap from teen pop to contemporary rock. It’s a challenging feat that few have pulled off. (Check out our look at artists who managed to outgrow their pop roots.) But the brothers are working hard on what they know will be a long, slow march to credibility. Eliscu found Nick on point as the band’s creative lead, putting their touring band through their paces (his brothers have started calling him “Mr. President”), while Kevin helps to steer the Jonas business and image (he even built a foam 3-D scale model of the band’s new stage set, which now takes 180 people to assemble at each show).
“We have an operation around us that we run,” Kevin tells Rolling Stone. “It’s not run for us, or dictated to us. Everything that we do, we sign off on.”
But even with a strong operation and a lot of hard work, the band knows that teen idols rarely make the leap to “serious artist.” “Personally, I’m not in the band to say, ‘Hey, you need to respect us, take us seriously,’ because that’s kind of stupid,” Joe tells RS. “We’re doing it because we love it, and we don’t care what age group we attract. If they like our music, they like our music, and if they don’t, fine. We don’t need you like our music.”
Jenny Eliscu’s Rolling Stone cover story, “Boys to Men,” is on newsstands now, and click here for Rolling Stone’s essential Jonas Brothers coverage.

Nick Jonas already met Sasha and Malia Obama on the first night they were in the White House – but on Tuesday the pop star got to meet their dad, too.
"I'm excited," Jonas, wearing a tailored gray suit, told PEOPLE on his way to the White House where he planned to pay a visit to President Barack Obama and a group of kids who live with diabetes. "This is the first time I'm meeting the president. It's gonna be fun."
But the singer's Washington, D.C., trip is not all glitz and glamour. The 16-year-old, who played at the Kids' Inaugural Ball after the November election, is taking a detour from his Jonas Brothers tour to testify Wednesday at a Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing on government funding for diabetes research, as are Sugar Ray Leonard and Mary Tyler Moore.
"It's amazing [to meet them]. They're, like, household names," says Jonas, who was diagnosed with diabetes at age 13 and who works with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Spotted in Georgetown: Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers, doing some shopping Tuesday afternoon. After stopping into Barneys CO-OP and Rugby — and being mobbed on one corner by young fans — the youngest brother got some pizza at Pizzeria Uno on M Street.
This would be his last free time while here in town. Jonas took a White House tour and met with President Barack Obama for a few minutes, before heading up to Capitol Hill. There, he took a Capitol tour along with Mary Tyler Moore, and met with Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., to discuss juvenile diabetes (he suffers from the disease). Jonas, Moore and boxer Sugar Ray Leonard are set to testify on diabetes at a Capitol Hill hearing this morning.
For a completely different type of music sighting, that was Billy Gibbons, the legendarily bearded front man for ZZ Top, strolling down Seventh Street in Penn Quarter on Monday evening. Proving not much has changed since the band’s “Legs” days, he was accompanied by two much younger women.
And that was celebrity chef/culinary sex symbol Eric Ripert, signing copies of his new book Tuesday afternoon on the sidewalk cafe of Westend Bistro, his restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton.

Singer Nick Jonas is starring in a new advert promoting a diabetes blood test machine. Nick, the youngest of the Jonas Brothers, spoke out about having the disease last year in which he revealed he lost 15lbs in two weeks. Now 16, the singer and guitarist manages his diabetes and his blood sugar level by using a Contour machine to measure his levels via a glucose test strip.
In the 30-second black and white advert, Nick can be seen holding the device as he reveals: "Having the right tools is crucial in being able to manage your diabetes properly. "It's very important to me to check by blood sugar before I go on stage. "Being on while I am feeling low can be like being on a rollercoaster.
***
"It does at times feel like my body is telling me one thing and my mind and my heart is telling me to do something else. Managing my highs and lows is super important.
"My Contour means I can personalise my high-low settings so it really does micro manage where my blood sugar needs to be. "I'm Nick Jonas and never slowing down is my simple way." The advert is currently airing on TV in the US.

Donning a leather cap, Joe Jonas stands front and center as he and his brothers, Nick and Kevin cover Rolling Stone magazine.
This will mark the second time the JoBros have covered the music magazine. The musical trio will rock out the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado tomorrow night (June 24).

My Simple Win this month - Releasing our new CD and launching Jonas Brothers World Tour

Clad in plaid shorts, Nick Jonas and pop Paul make their way into a car after landing at Dulle airport on Tuesday morning (June 23) in Chantilly, Virginia.
According to the Washington Examiner, the 16-year-old musician was spotted at Barney’s CO-OP before grabbing some pizza at Numero Uno on M Street this afternoon.
Later in the day, Nick will be meeting with Sen. Frank Lautenberg, where he is set to discuss juvenile diabetes and the organization he started that raises money for the disease. Nick will address the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on the same issue tomorrow (June 24).

The Jonas Brothers kicked off their world tour on Saturday in Dallas at the Cowboys Stadium, and it seems like the guys pulled out all the stops to keep the crowd of nearly 50,000 entertained.
According to reports, the JoBros played songs both old and new, including cuts from their new album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, which was just released last week. But the performance of one new song in particular really drove the crowd wild.
For "Before the Storm," a duet between Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus from Lines ..., Nick was joined onstage by none other than Cyrus. The performance comes amid recent rumblings — including statements from Miley and Nick's older brother, Joe — that the teens have started dating again. Nick strummed the acoustic guitar while Miley, dressed in a white dress and boots, hit the stage with her on-again, off-again beau.
A couple of weeks back, Joe Jonas had hinted to MTV News that there was a possibility that fans would get a chance to see Miley perform the track with them live.
Earlier that evening, Miley actually gave a clue about the appearance on Twitter. "In one of my favorite cities with my favorite people," she wrote. "Guess where I am and what I'm doing. I will never tell :)" She then followed up the Tweet post-show, writing, "@mileycyrus had an awesome time with @jonasbrothers last night. The show was awesome :) I miss you already :(" She also Tweeted Heidi Montag, saying, "He's amazing."
The guys thanked Miley via Twitter as well, writing, "Just played the first show on the world tour ... a night we'll remember forever! ... And a very special thanks to our incredible friends Honor Society, Jordin Sparks and Miley Cyrus."

Money, fame and fans haven't changed the Jonas Brothers one bit.
So says Honor Society, one of the opening acts for the Jo Bros' just-launched world tour. We caught up with the group the other day at a private home in Los Angeles, where they were shooting a video for "Where Are You Now?," a single featured in Vanessa Hudgens' upcoming movie Bandslam...
"With all of the success that the Jonas Brothers have, they are extremely humble," said Honor Society frontman Michael Bruno. "We've always been able to observe that about them, and that's something that we plan to take with us as we grow as a group."
Fellow bandmate Alex Noyes also chimed in: "One thing Nick always says that really strikes me is, 'Live like you're at the bottom when you're at the top.' "
Honor Society first met Jo Bros last year.
"An EP we made, made it into the hands of Nick, Kevin and Joe," Bruno said. "They liked what they heard, and we started to strike up a friendship first. And through that friendship, sort of a musical partnership started to happen."
In fact, the Jonases have cowritten songs on Honor Society's upcoming album.
"The guys are really awesome," said keyboardist Jason Rosen. "They're very organic. They're very creative, and we just have a great time recording with them."

After performing last week on “Good Morning America” and appearing on “Larry King Live” late last night, the Jonas Brothers were at it again early this morning on “Today” to kick off the show’s Summer Concert Series and celebrate Nick’s recent graduation. Thousands of fans — some of whom waited for two days (in the rain!) — stood outside the studio to get a spot to see the JoBros play live.
I ran into their manager Johnny Wright (who also managed *NSYNC and Britney Spears, among others), and he said that nearly 6,000 people had shown up. The boys looked flawless as usual in their tight pants and sunglasses and were jumping all over the stage despite their early soundcheck at 6:45 this morning! In the middle of the performing their hit “Love Bug,” Joe Jonas left the stage to sing for the hundreds of fans lined up around the block. I thought I was going to be killed by a group of 10-year-olds while the boys sang a mere foot away from me.
The JoBros wooed the crowd with “Burnin’ Up,” and one adoring fan nearly passed out when Nick touched her hand. I made a few friends during the concert, and it was my luck that in the middle of the show, they were chosen to visit the band’s dressing room to take some pictures! I tagged along and got the inside scoop on what the JoBros were like up close and personal. Best of all, I got to have my picture taken with them!

(Click for more photos from the Jonas Brothers’ performance on “Today” in New York!)
While waiting outside the dressing room, my new friends were taking deep breaths and preparing to win over the boys’ hearts. When the moment came for them to meet the JoBros, it was all too quick, but they left the show saying it was “the best day of their lives.”

The brothers Jonai sent this to us yesterday, and now they’re in Toronto!! Their band is rehearsing on stage as I type this, and girls on the street are screaming for THEM. I can’t even imagine what it’s gonna be like when the JoBros hit the stage… omg. Anyway, here’s what they had to say!

Hey everyone!
We have had a busy but wonderful couple days. Last night we were in Dallas at the New Cowboys Stadium for the first concert on our 2009 World Tour.
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!
We had Jesse James serving as MC throughout the night. She also sang her new single, Wanted.
We also had our good friend from our Disney Channel show, JONAS...Nicole Anderson, aka Macy! It was fun to see the shock on her face as thousands of people screamed when they saw her.
The night started with our friends, Honor Society. They rocked the stage from the beginning of their set till the end. We are so excited to introduce them to the world.
Next was our good friend, Jordin Sparks. She sang hit after hit and thrilled the crowd.
By the time we came out we were so excited. We have been waiting to get started with this tour. It was electric from the minute we hit the stage. We had so much fun with our fans.
There were approx. 50,000 people at the stadium. This is an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you to everyone in Dallas for making our dreams come true in our new home town.
We ended the show by surprising everyone with a surprise duet with Miley Cyrus. The scream was one of the loudest ever!
Thanks again to everyone who came to the show and for our friends who made it so special.
You are the best fans in the world
LET US KNOW IF YOU WERE AT THE SHOW and TELL US WHAT YOU THOUGHT!

Kevin, Joe and Nick

The Jonas Brothers grab onto their mics as they rehearse during their sound check for the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada on Sunday afternoon (June 21).
The musical trio — Nick, Joe and Kevin — are hosting and performed “Burnin’ Up” and “Love Bug” during tonight’s ceremony.
The JoBros just tweeted, “Just finished co hosting the Much Music Video Awards. Thank you to all of our amazing fans for voting us Ur Fave International Video!”
The Jonas Brothers kick off their big summer tour on Saturday in Dallas. And the guys, who will be performing in the round, assure fans that when they shill out money for tickets, they will be buying a seat to the concert spectacle of the year.
"I mean, you walk out there right now ... that looks big, and then you add a lot of people in there and that's even bigger, and then they also don't have seats on the floor yet," Joe Jonas told MTV News. "So there's seats going to be all over the floor too, so it's like, 'Whoa.' It's intense."
The intensity includes a water curtain, which led to the guys making an interesting list of things you may or may not see when you hit up one of their shows this summer. "We're going to bring a mountain on the stage with us," Joe said, before Kevin jokingly added, "And volcanoes and dinosaurs. We're bringing them back."
Not only will the guys have a water curtain for real (the dinosaurs and volcanoes will not be included on this stretch of the tour), but they will also have mechanics that will certainly bring them closer to their fans. "We do have a water curtain on the stage. There's a lot of stuff that's going on," Kevin explained. "We have an arm that lifts out of the stage that goes about 30 feet that swings us over the audience."
But Joe wanted to be sure we got what Kevin meant by an arm. "A big, like, mechanical-looking arm — not an actual arm," he explained.
"Burnin Up... Much Music Award... http://bit.ly/rnRa4 and vote... See on tour!!! - JB"
"Here in the New Dallas Texas Stadium... Let us know if you're out there! - JB"
"PS - Got a couple of surprises for you tonight ;)"
"Just played the first show on the world tour... a night we'll remember for ever!"
"And a very special thanks to our incredible friends Honor Society, Jordin Sparks and Miley Cyrus"

Miley Cyrus has a secret — and she’s not telling.
Rumor has it that the 16-year-old singer/actress is going to be performing at the Jonas Brothers concert tonight. She tweeted, “In one of my favorite cities with my favorite people. Guess where I am and what I’m doing. I will never tell.”
Another tweet confirmed that Miley in indeed in Arlington, Texas. “Ohhhmyygaawwddd, Miley frreakin Cyrus is here! Vip is waiting outside these glass doors, she walked by, and we saw her but it was too fast for anyone to take pics. 100 percent serious. I’m sure she’s here to sing ‘Before The Storm’ (Nick and Miley’s duet).”
The JoBros will be lighting up Cowboy Stadium tonight @ 7PM.

So it’s pretty much confirmed that Miley Cyrus will be performing tonight at the Jonas Brothers concert tonight (June 20) at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas, TX.
Just look, Miley has her own sign backstage! Before the storm-mmmm…
The JoBros also just tweeted, “PS - Got a couple of surprises for you tonight ;)”
Of course, American Idol champ Jordin Sparks has her own area, she’s opening for the boys!
What other surprises do you think Jonas have for us besides Miley?

Check out the awesome duet of Miley Cyrus singing with maybe-boyfriend Nick Jonas during the Jonas Brothers concert on Saturday night (June 20) at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas, TX.
Standin’ out in the rain,
Knowin’ that it’s really over.
Please don’t leave me alone.
If you missed it, check out Miley’s sign backstage!
WHAT DO YOU THINK of the Niley performance — HOT or NOT?

Are Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus on again? Big bro Joe may know something we don’t.
When asked on Larry King Live about the trio’s girlfriends, the 19-year-old musician suggesting that maybe Nick and Miley were more than friends again. He said, “I don’t think anyone’s [girlfriend] as famous as Miley Cyrus.”
Nick and Miley first ended their courtship at the end of 2007. After, Miley dated Justin Gaston and Nick had interest in Selena Gomez.
WHAT DO YOU THINK of a Niley reunion?
The Jonas Brothers are hosting the Much Music Awards on June 21st! and we want to make sure they take home the trophy for "UR Fave International Video of the Year". The voting closes tomorrow, so we need you to VOTE TONIGHT!! CLICK HERE TO VOTE!!!
