Nick Jonas and The Administration — Coming Soon!

Nick Jonas, the youngest of the Jonas Brothers has an album of his own coming out.

“Nick is working on a solo act–it’s called Nick Jonas and The Administration. Shhh! He’s at the photo shoot for the album cover right now,” mom Denise Jonas told Parade.

The name of the new band probably stems from Nick’s nickname, Mr. President. “I just act like the boss sometimes,” Nick has said, “A lot of people have families where it’s like the younger kids get all the slack, but they really do treat me with respect, and I do the same for them, it’s a good relationship.”

Mama Jonas is also gushing about his future daughter-in-law Danielle Deleasa, who is set to marry her eldest son, 21-year-old Kevin Jonas.

“Kevin and his fiancee Danielle have set their wedding date–but it’s completely private. Danielle, bless her heart, is from a great little Italian family. She is everything I ever prayed for and hoped for Kevin,” she added.

From Nick:

About 6 months ago, the three of us had a 2 week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts. Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Kevin spent some time with his fiancé Danielle. I decided to go to Nashville, TN to make a side project (Nick Jonas & The Administration) with 4 musicians - guys that I had met and worked with before. If I was to describe the sound to someone… I would say its “heart & soul”, because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul.

We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers. My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record.

My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.

I am so excited to share more details about my project with all of you as we come closer to the end of the year, but for right now, Kevin, Joe and I have a show to play in Venezuela!

Girl Scratched Nick Jonas' ARM, Bleeding

From Bella: The Jonas Brothers left Monday morning, my uncle works with the person who drove them everywhere and he told me that they were supposed to meet some baseball players; the team Escogido and were supposed to have supper at Hard Rock Cafe. But the night of the concert they were getting outside the stadium and some girl scratched Nick's arm, and he started bleeding.

Because of his diabetes it could get infected and stuff, so they went really fast to the hospital, which was in front of the Estadio Olimpico, so they had to leave early in the morning on Monday. It was really awesome because, I got to go to the meet and greet before the concert, went to the hotel afterward and sawm them leave when they got in their private airplane. Thx Elaine for pix! UPDATE: From Cristina: The Jonas Brothers are at Casa de Campo in La Romana in Dominican Republic right now. They are eating at a restaurant called Peperroni. They are leaving tomorrow morning for Venezuela. They arrived at Casa de Campo around noon. Nick, Joe, Kevin, Papa Jonas, Big Rob, other bodyguards, and Saymon Diaz (the person who brought them to DR) are there.

Jonas Brothers Breaking Up???!!

The Jonas Brothers are splitting up? What? You better keep watching for the whole story!

Hey guys Im Dana Ward with the details on this possible Jonas breakup.

Well, starting off, Clevver TV is not saying these 3-guys are 100-percent calling it quits. But we are saying that there have been whispers of Nick flying solo in the singing business. According to reports, the youngest bro is secretly working on his own album these days, and that Nick is all set to tour alone in 2010. The apparent plan is that Joe too will leave the group to pursue a solo career and that the oldest bro, Kevin, will settle down with his now-fiancé, Danielle Deleasa.

I gotta point out that these same Jackson-5-like breakup rumors went around about a year ago, but instead of Nick being named the cause, it was Kevin who was set to call it quits from the Jonas Brothers.

With all of this gossip circulating, do you think theres any truth to the possible brother breakup? Or is it just publicity to gain some attention?

Who steals the show?

Woah - We're talking all about the new rap video called 'Bounce' with some Disney faves!

Hi guys. Dana Ward here for Clevver TV and we're dishing about 'Bounce'. It being called a dance rap spoof and it's pretty darn entertaining. The Jonas Brothers posted in mid-October on their YouTube page - earning 1.8-million views in only 3 days!

So the video starts off with Kevin calling in the other 2 guys to watch a new band he found online, saying they're unbelievable! Then we get to watch a faux music video as started by a singing Demi Lovato, definitely acting out a funky character portrayal. It's an 80s themed video with tons of neon and graphics. Nick and his thick mustache - that's without a doubt tres f-a-k-e - is hilarious, leading the group of street dancers and rappers. They all parade around New York throwing arms around and moving to the old school beats. Joe is DJ Danger and he mixes in some background singing, and you certainly can't miss his long mullet-like locks and his all-American style workout gear. Plus, Demi aka MC D Love raps about not knowing how to dance, while this big guy raps in that she can and he breaks down how to bounce.

I'm thinking Nick is definitely the stand-out star in 'Bounce', but what do you think? Do you think it was more of a Demi thing or was it Joe who did it for you? Or perhaps it was even that big guy, BRP, with the obvious fro wig? Let us know who you think is giving the true street creds to the 'Bounce' music video.

The JoBros are expected to perform in the Dominican Republic tomorrow (October 25).

Four Houston Rodeo 2010 Entertainers Announced

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is putting together its 2010 Entertainment Lineup and Monday announced four stars that will take part.

All four are returning artists: The Jonas Brothers, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Brooks and Dunn.

The Jonas Brothers will perform Sunday, March 7, Tim McGraw on Monday, March 8, Brad Paisley on Thursday, March 11 and Brooks and Dunn, who are on their last tour, will take the stage Saturday, March 20.

“We are thrilled to have these amazing entertainers return to the RodeoHouston stage,” said Skip Wagner, president of the Show. “With Brooks & Dunn being on its Last Rodeo Tour, it is fitting to couple the dynamic duo with the RodeoHouston BP Super Series Championship. Superstars in concert and action-packed rodeo are perfect for family entertainment.”

Black Heritage Day is scheduled for Friday, March 5 and Go Tejano Day will b e Sunday, March 14.

The full Rodeo Houston lineup will be announced January 11, 2010.

Season tickets are now on sale. Mini-season tickets, with 9 performances in each option, go on sale Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Individual tickets will go on sale January 16. Chelsea Staub: How To Tell The Jonas Brothers Apart

Can’t tell The Jonas Brothers apart? Neither could we until Chelsea set us straight with this handy guide:

Nick is the youngest. He is 17, and he’s definitely the brains behind the band. He’s the little brother, but he’s in charge of it all and he writes pretty much all of the music. He definitely has “it”, whatever “it” is, Nick’s got it. He plays drums and keyboard and guitar and writes and does all of it well. So he’s definitely the musical one in that family.

Joe is the middle brother. And he’s just the entertainer. He’s a goofball on and off set. He’s constantly pulling pranks and getting us into trouble and he’s great when he’s on stage. He really sells it.

Kevin is the oldest. He should be a salesman. He’s really easy to talk to, always dresses to the nines, and is definitely the manager of the band. He keeps everybody in check.

Joe’s Wardrobe Malfunction Explained

A JONAS BROTHERS concert in Connecticut almost turned X-rated for young fans after hearthrob JOE JONAS suffered a wardrobe malfunction onstage.
The 20 year old was left red-faced when a button holding his pants together popped out midway through the band’s performance at the Mohegan Sun Casino on 9 October (09).
Things went from bad to worse when his fly unravelled, forcing him to hold his trousers up with one hand and croon into his mic with the other.
A stagehand eventually spared his blushes by handing him a clip to keep his costume intact.
A source tells Star magazine, “He scurried over to the side of the stage and someone handed him a paperclip. He looped in through the buttonhole and stitched up the fly onstage while (bandmates and brothers) Nick and Kevin distracted the crowd.”

Mrs. Jonas gives mom advice

Ever wonder what the Jonas Brothers’ mom must be thinking these days as her boys deal with megastardom?
Turns out she’s thinking about some of the same things we “regular” moms are – how to keep the clan close, which battles to wage with the kids and which to forget and so on.

Denise Jones is set to speak at an iMom event at a Brooklyn school on Friday, Oct. 23. The nonprofit organization iMom provides support for moms in school and online. The organization has monthly events called iMom Morning, at 350 public schools across the nation.

Here’s some of her advice, some personal principles she’s acquired on her own:

1. Put in the rug time. “I called our family’s spontaneous father-and-sons games “rug time” or “rearranging the living room without license.” But without a word, the boys and their dad called it love. I learned that no carpet or piece of furniture is worth more than bonding that happens in the rug time.”

2. Cook when you can. “Life on the road wreaks havoc on kitchen togetherness but I love to cook and I’ve learned to do it as much as I can. Something’s very comforting about eating food mom cooks.”

3. Never mind the hair. “Moms also know this lesson as ‘choose your battles.’ As issues come up, I’ve learned to weigh each for its big-picture significance and adjust my response. Some things, like a teenager’s hair, I let go.”

4. Buy the drums. “Your daughter wants to play softball? Find a team. Your son wants to sing? Encourage it. Someone’s good at drawing? Quick: paper and colors. At times you have to study your kids. Other times their gifts hit you full force. Whatever the case, give them a chance — then stand back and give them room.”

5. Celebrate the wrinkle cream. “In a store once, I saw a wrinkle cream and mentioned it to the boys that I like it. Next Mother’s Day, I’m unwrapping the wrinkle cream and felt like crying! But the sweet thing is, my sons had heard me and wanted to please me.”

6. Trust the detours. First the news of Nick’s diabetes brought shock. Then we responded as a family. We learned about diabetes, followed the guidelines and stayed the course — and our eyes opened to others with health issues. Bad news has been a back door blessing.”

7. Stay grateful. “With privilege comes responsibility and we’re grateful for all of it. Yes, everything. Our flight is held up? We’re grateful to be going. Our hotel reservation is one room short? We’ll sleep on the floor. Life isn’t perfect, but in every circumstance, our job is to manage our response.”

8. Sit close, hug often. “Our family speaks the language of hugs and we speak it liberally. I’ve learned that when words aren’t enough, holding my child says volumes. Kids outgrow laps but never hugs.”

9. Set internal pillars. “The world presses in with schedules, expectations and exhaustion. How my children withstand that has everything to do with what’s inside them. We don’t just assume our kids will pick up good inner structures such as honor, self-respect, honesty and kindness. We talk about these things and praise our kids when those qualities show.”

10. Be the mom. “My kids don’t need me to be a buddy, a sidekick or a maid: They need me to be a mom. Kids need a mom to set limits, set the example and set out what they can be and do. Anyone can be a friend. Only the mom can be the mom. That’s the highest calling — a a big reason I’m big on iMom.”

Jonas Brothers: Double Date Disaster!

When Van Dyke asks Joe and his date to join, Joe quickly covers by asking Macy (Nicole Anderson) out. The double date turns disastrous as Stella and Joe try to one-up one another.

Beaumont Hospital and rock 'n' roll legends team up for cancer survivors

PREVIEW (WJRT) — Rob Zombie and The Jonas Brothers? Ozzy Osbourne and Loggins & Messina? Alice Cooper and Jason Mraz?

Not exactly bands you would expect to collaborate on a regular basis. But when it’s for kids and for cancer, anything can happen.

And it will Saturday, Oct. 24 as the 2009 Stars Guitars event takes place at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn.

The autographed guitar and sports memorabilia auction — which includes a performance by classic rockers REO Speedwagon — is raising money for the Charles A. Main M.D. Pediatric Cancer Survivor Scholarship Fund.

Team Jonas Update

Hey Team Jonas!

We wanted to take a second to thank you for your continued support of the 2009 World Tour. It has been great to meet so many of you at the Meet & Greets, and on the streets wherever we travel. There are a lot of familiar faces…but whether you’ve been a fan for years (amazing–thank you!) or just joined the club this year, we are just as thankful and we feel the love!!

As you’ve probably heard, we’ve been in the Toronto-area filming Camp Rock 2! And if you liked the original, you’re gonna love “2″. In between filming, we’ve been enjoying some downtime from the tour, relaxing and having fun. We also found the time to record a new song, “Bounce.” It was pretty amazing to film, and we’re grateful for all the positive feedback we’ve gotten. We hope you love it.

We’re off to the Dominican Republic, then Venezuela, Panama, Mexico, Europe and finally Puerto Rico on December 13th!! We know a lot of you will be seeing us perform for the first time, and we will be working hard to give you an amazing concert.

Kevin Jonas Threw Away Girl's PRESENT?

From CG: Girls have been waiting outside the Four Seasons in Toronto for over a month. They will take pictures with the Jonas Brothers, and even GIVE THEM 'GIFTS'. Yesterday, a maid from the hotel came out with a few bags COMPLETELY FILLED with stuff she gathered that the Jonas clan left behind in their hotel rooms. She was showing the girls what she had found.

One of the girls was waiting outside the hotel when the maid came out. She dug into the bag and found a hand sketched picture of Kevin Jonas that SHE SKETCHED for him, earlier this month, and GAVE TO KEVIN AS A GIFT! She asked the maid where she found it, and she said 'the trashcan in one of the Jonas' hotel rooms'.

She was so upset that Kevin said he 'really liked the photo' and later.. threw it in the trash. Do YOU think this is true, would Kevin really throw away a fan's personal gift to him? Was anyone else there when this happened?!

Congratulations to the Jonas Brothers!

Kevin, Nick and Joe beat out ladies Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Britney Spears for the Best International Pop Artist honor. WOW!

Nick was also honored with the Male Fashionista Award during the 2009 Los Premios MTV Latin America Awards on Thursday night’s (October 15) broadcast.

The JoBros‘ rumored 12 Days of Christmas Tour is officially a no-go. Live Nation released eleven concert dates and venues late last month which were taken down immediately.

Joe Jonas: I Can’t Wait For Dublin

Joe Jonas cracks a big smile as he heads to Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre to work out before heading to the Canadian set of Camp Rock 2 on Thursday afternoon (October 8).

The 20-year-old actor/musician caught up with JJJ recently and revealed that he’s looking forward to getting back out on the road once filming is done.

Joe shared, “I’m actually excited to perform in Dublin, Ireland - I have this charity event that I hold - that’s a 5k run to raise awareness for the Special Olympics. I did the first one in San Antonio and it was really cool - we’ll be doing the second one in Dublin, so I’m excited to do that and get that started again.”

Joe Jonas is a Camp Rock Cooker

Joe Jonas intently listens to a friend as they pick up some groceries at a local Whole Foods Store in Toronto on Tuesday afternoon (October 6).

The 20-year-old musician recently caught up with JJJ and revealed that he’s getting really into cooking as of late. He shared, “I want to make a pasta - that’s our next goal. I’m excited - I’m going to make it tomorrow night, probably. I think it’s going to be fun.”

Joe continued, “I made fish tacos and that was a big hit - it was the first time I’d cooked for more than myself and people kind of freaked out, they loved it! It was really exciting for me so that was really cool to see that they liked it.”

Kevin Jonas: I’m The Groom Who Wants To Plan My Wedding

Newly betrothed Kevin Jonas caught up with CTV on the Canadian set of his upcoming DCOM, Camp Rock 2 and chatted about his upcoming nuptials to Danielle Deleasa. Check out what the 21-year-old musician had to say:

On what he and Danielle have to still plan: “We’re in between a bunch of things right now like choosing dates and things like that but we’re just trying to figure everything out and we’re enjoying it, we’re having a blast. I’m definitely into the planning process, a lot of guys you know are like just go ahead take it all but no I definitely want to be a part of all of it, as much as I can of course. It’s fun and brings us together and we get to make a lot of decisions together.”

On brothers Nick and Joe planning his bachelor party: “That’s all I know about that, is that they’ll being doing it. So they are my best men and she has two sisters as well so it worked out really well and I think we’ll have a good time, it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Younger bro Joe on Kevin’s upcoming nuptials: “It’s going to be really exciting. We’re really happy for Kevin and Danni and I think, I don’t even know much about what is going to be happening but I know Kevin keeps trying to plan his own bachelor party and that’s not going to happen. Me and Nick are like ‘we are not going to let that happen.’ So we are going to figure out the right place and have fun and it’s going to be a good time. He wants to do golfing but that just seems a little too normal. We have to do something outrageous and fun. Something crazy.”

Brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas take their best girls Demi Lovato and Danielle Deleasa out on the town for a bite to eat at Yamato Steakhouse in Toronto on Monday night (October 5).

Earlier in the day, BFFs Joe and Demi were spotted at a Michael Buble concert before meeting up with betrothed Kevin and Danielle. After their meal, the quartet were happy to pose with fans for a few pics.

Looks like Kevin and Danielle aren’t sweating about the rumors spreading across the internet about a pre-nuptial agreement. How sweet is Kevin giving Danielle a kiss? Awww!

Jonas Brothers: Eat Fresh, Live Green

Joe Jonas and younger brothers Nick and Frankie do some shopping and grab dinner together at Fresh on Spadina in Canada on Saturday (October 3).

Joe wore a Kings of Leon t-shirt. Nick and Frankie wore matching brown leather messenger bags!

The Jonas Brothers, on break from shooting Camp Rock 2, were accompanied by pal Maya Kibble and her mom Kiyoko, whose husband was one of Papa Jonas’ best friends (he passed away about 10 years ago). His last wish was that the Jonas family take care of Maya and Kiyoko. Kiyoko is now one of the Jonas family’s assistants.

Jonas Brothers Make A Surprise Appearance At We Day

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas let their smiles shine as they perform at We Day: A Youth Empowerment Event held at The Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Monday afternoon (October 5).

According to the Canadian Press, the musical trio were on the taped message that was broadcast but then stepped out on stage moments later — bringing the audience to their feet.

Almost 16,000 student leaders were at the event organized by Free The Children today and is aimed at celebrating the power of young people to change the world.

Joe & Nick Jonas Run For A Cure

Nick and Joe Jonas pace themselves as they take part in the CIBC’s Run For the Cure 5K Marathon in Toronto on Sunday afternoon (October 4).

Joe, 20, shared with local news, “We’re here in Toronto filming a movie, so we both decided since we heard about the run, ‘You know what? Let’s be a part of it.’”

Nick and Joe ran surrounded by security guards but were happy to take part in the fundraiser. This year’s goal for the 5K walk was to raise $5 million in Toronto and almost $30 million across Canada.

Does Joe Jonas (center) have a second career as a perfumer? According to our sources, he just might. At the Toronto International Film Festival, the star blended a scent for a female friend at the Aromachology pop-up store, a new custom fragrance line based on personality. To select the top-notes, Jonas picked three words that best described his lady: creative, courageous, and sexy. Also? He signed the card "With Love." We're not sure who the lucky recipient was, but we're seriously considering mixing our own scent online now. (Aromachology officially launches with a trunk show at Henri Bendels in New York City at the end of October.)

JB.SG Announcement

Hello everyone!

It's Atiqah again, and this is probably my last time on JB.SG until after A Levels which ends on 30th November for me.

I'd just like to inform you that all winners who have not yet collected their prizes for me, and will not be collecting it on 3rd October, will only be able to collect it from me in December. This is because I will be extremely busy preparing for the A Levels which begins on the 10th November. From now till then, I still have lessons and will have extra lessons as well as mock examinations in preparation for A Levels, so I will be busy studying.

For the next two months, I will be absent from JB.SG but I will drop by once or twice just to see that the site is running okay. Oh well, I know that the site is already in good hands so I've nothing to worry. ^^

Also, I have not yet announced the two international fans who will be receiving a small gift from us via mail. As we have just received the participants name list for the JB Contest held by Universal Music Singapore, I will also announce the names of the lucky international fans who will be receiving the same gift from us and we will mail it in December. Winners for the JB Contest will be announced tomorrow night but you will only be able to collect your prize in December.

JB.SG UPDATE:JONAS dog at BUILD-A-BEAR

Hi Everyone!!!

So I was at Plaza Singapura today and i walked past "Build-a-Bear Workshop" and I saw these..





So anyway...I didnt know they had an event for this.. Seriously, dunno why i didn't know about it.. Anyway....another shocker was i didn't know that this was available in Singapore already because I saw a video where they just released it in the U.S.. talk about fast(first time hah!)

So the doll or dog is really cute and soft. It's like one of those marshmellow pillow. And you can actually make your own..stuffing, clothes and heart etc. I'm not sure if I'm getting it because I feel kinda weird having a doll dog..but the chain on is so awesome I might just purchase one.

So, extra information.. It costs $57.70..It's so cute and cuddly..It has the word 'JONAS' all over it. In other words, quickly get one for yourselves before it flies off the shelves!!!

MySpace Update: Toronto UPDATE

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to check in with all of our fans and get you all in the loop. Even without being on the road it's been quite an eventful couple of weeks. Starting with Nick's birthday where we got to spend some time with our family and some great friends! In fact quite a few of our friends made the journey up here to Toronto to hang with us and make it such an incredible night, and we truly thank them for that.

We've also had a bunch of other things in the pipeline now, as you've seen we have a really cool YouTube challenge going on.... And the Verizon kickball game is just around the corner (we love our games!) And a show! Yes it always comes back to the shows! That's what we're all about. Getting to do what we love and what you've all made it possible for us to do year round... Getting in front of our fans and
playing our music. In a couple of weeks we get to go back to the States and play a show at Mohegan Sun, so we're pretty stoked about that.

Though we have to say it's been great being up here in Toronto. We've read your comments to our blogs and totally agree that we've had the chance to unwind and just chill while we've been up here. We've taken in all that Toronto has to offer from the Royal Ontario Museum, to a U2 concert at the Rogers Center (amazing!!!!!) and the Kings Of Leon at Hamilton (also incredible) to just walking around the city with a cup of coffee our friends in a stellar city.
