Fox Announces American Idol’s 2010 Schedule

The wait is almost over for the return of television’s No. 1 show! American Idol is set to return for its much-anticipated ninth season with a two-night premiere featuring extraordinary talent and outrageous new auditions from Boston Tuesday, Jan. 12 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Atlanta Wednesday, Jan. 13 (8:00-9:15 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

After the two-night premiere, auditions will continue for three weeks starting with the Chicago auditions on Tuesday, Jan. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and continuing fromOrlando on Wednesday, Jan. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Then, Dallas auditions will air Tuesday, Jan. 26 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT); Los Angeles on Wednesday, Jan. 27 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT); Denver on Tuesday, Feb. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT); and “The Road to Hollywood
” auditions on Wednesday, Feb. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

This season on American Idol, the good, the bad and the awful audition for their shot at stardom. In the audition cities, Ryan Seacrest hosts, and Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi will be joined by rotating guest judges Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Shania Twain who will help select the hopefuls worthy of the “Golden Ticket” to Hollywood.

The lucky auditioners who get the judges’ approval then move on to the “Hollywood Round” where contestants vie for a semifinalist position during the next phase of the auditions. Once in Hollywood, Ellen joins Simon, Randy and Kara as they continue to winnow down the competitors to a select group of performers who will get to sing their hearts out each week in front of a studio audience and television viewers.

The “Hollywood Round” episodes will air Tuesday, Feb. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT); Wednesday, Feb. 10 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT); and Tuesday, Feb. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). On Wednesday, Feb. 17 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), dreams come true for 24 contestants, as Simon, Randy, Kara and Ellen announce the Top 12 male and Top 12 female semifinalists.

It will then be up to America to decide who moves forward in the competition. The first performance show featuring the Top 12 female semifinalists will air Tuesday, Feb. 23(8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The following night, Wednesday, Feb. 24 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), the Top 12 male semifinalists will perform. The results show revealing America’s first vote of the season will air Thursday, Feb. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), when the two male and two female contestants with the fewest votes will be sent home.

For the next two weeks, the girls will perform on Tuesdays, the guys will perform on Wednesdays and the results shows will air on Thursdays. The Top 10 female semifinalists will perform on Tuesday, March 2 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), and the Top 10 male semifinalists will take the stage on Wednesday, March 3 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). On Thursday, March 4 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), four contestants – two girls and two guys – will be eliminated from the competition. The following week, the Top 8 female semifinalists will compete on Tuesday, March 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), and the Top 8 male semifinalists will perform on Wednesday, March 10 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Then, on Thursday, March 11 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the finalists will be revealed after four more contestants are eliminated.

The competition heats up when the finalists take the stage LIVE and for the first time together on Tuesday, March 16 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed). One contestant’s journey will end when America’s vote is revealed Wednesday, March 17 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).

10 Hottest New Music Acts in 2009

This year, many new faces are trying their luck in the game and competing with their seniors. Coming from places all over the U.S. and across the pond, some of them have to swallow bitterly as they failed to get their break, but several others succeeded in cracking Billboard charts and becoming one of those sought-after music talents.

Kevin Jonas Weds Danielle Deleasa

Welcome back to ClevverTV-I'm Joslyn Davis in Beverly Hills where it appears as though our recent report that Kevin Jonas would marry last weekend was true!

Yes, Kevin Jonas is no longer a single mingler. He and his longtime girlfriend Danielle Deleasa tied the knot just as we thought they would. Most of the rumors we heard prior to the ceremony turned out to be true. Including the best men-Nick and Joe did in fact share the honor. The young couple recited traditional vows in front of about 400 loved ones, one of whom was Camp Rock pal Demi Lovato.

And despite the crazy weather and blizzard conditions on the east coast, the wedding went off without a hitch. Mr. and Mrs. Jonas embraced the winter wonderland at Oheka Castle in Long Island. The couple told People magazine that they're "so happy [they're] finally married and able to share the special moment with family, friends and loved ones."

As far as the details I know you ladies are dying to get-Dani wore a strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown and a silk-and-crystal flower in her hair-similar to the one she was wearing the day she met Kevin in 2007. The couple exchanged custom Jacob and co. rings that they designed themselves. Dani's engagement ring, which is also a Jacob and co creation, is 3 carats and on her wedding day her husband added a diamond eternity ring to finish things off. Mrs. Jonas gave her new hubby a stainless steel ring totaling 2.24 carats worth of brilliant-cut diamonds. The rings are off the charts and a perfect match for the gorgeous location- which was custom decorated by celebrity event planner Michael Russo. Russo said that "Danielle looked like a princess." And that "Kevin couldn't sop smiling." So sweet.

At the reception, guests feasted on an incredible menu that consisted of Caribbean, Asian and Italian cuisine. No word on any additional details but we will keep you posted as we receive more scoop. As for now, we're sure that the duo is enjoying the newlywed life on their honeymoon.

FIRST LOOK: Kevin Jonas's Wedding Photo!

Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa's wedding earlier this month was like a fairy tale – complete with a castle, an enchanted forest and glass slippers in the bride's shoe size, a gift from the groom.

"I knew that my princess needed her glass slippers and her castle," Jonas told PEOPLE of the nuptials.

"I always wanted my wedding to have that princess feel," adds the new Mrs. Jonas. "I couldn't have imagined this," she says of her lavish wedding Dec. 19 at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York.

Despite a blizzard blanketing the roads around the castle, the wedding went forward without a hitch, and the bride, escorted by her father Thomas "Bucky" Deleasa, walked down the aisle to "Bella Notte," from Lady and the Tramp, played on the guitar by a friend of the Jonas family. "I'm an Italian girl. It just fit me and my dad," said Danielle of the song choice.

The groom's father Kevin Jonas Sr., an ordained minister, officiated along with Danielle's childhood pastor, Rev. Ron DePasquale Jr. After reciting traditional vows, the couple exchanged Jacob & Co. wedding bands that they designed for one another.

"I've never seen a more beautiful bride," said Kevin of Danielle, who he calls his "Jersey Girl" and who wore a strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown at the ceremony.

The two exchanged vows in a winter wonderland wedding over the weekend at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York.

Kevin and Danielle commissioned jewelry house Jacob & Co. to design their wedding wear. Dani’s Jacob & Co. diamond white gold eternity band and features round cut brilliant diamonds, totaling 3.83 carats. Kevin’s band is stainless steel with single rows of brilliant-cut diamonds along each edge and on each side, totaling 2.24 carats. WOWzer!

Kevin also had custom-made platinum jewelry by CliQ (pictured below): platinum cufflinks with 3.5 carats of diamonds and crafted with 186 round diamonds, platinum tuxedo shirt studs surrounded by diamonds, and platinum tie accent with round diamonds.

She and eldest brother Kevin tied the knot this afternoon at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York. The happy couple beat off a blizzard to exchange vows in front of 400 guests including the JoBros BFF Demi Lovato.

Kevin and Danielle shared with People mag, “We’re so happy that we’re finally married and we were able to share the special moment with family, friends and loved ones.”

Celebrity event planner Michael Russo said of the blushing bride and ceremony, “The snow only made it look more like a winter wonderland. Danielle looked like a princess. Kevin couldn’t stop smiling. To see them together you can feel the warmth and the love all around them. They are just perfect for each other.”

Danielle wore strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang wedding gown and a silk-and-crystal flower in her hair designed by Denise Leli, because she was wearing one the day she met Kevin in 2007.

Joe Jonas chatted with Tiger Beat about his dreams of becoming a professional actor. Since Nick is doing solo project do you have any plans to do anything without your brothers? 'We have different dreams. Mine is acting. I love it. So far it's been really great.'

What do you enjoy about acting versus touring with Kevin and Nick: 'It's nice to have a break. Touring can be busy and strenuous on your vocal chords.' Joe also revealed his first acting role:

'When I was in first grade I did a play about being a crayon. I was yellow. It was pretty amazing.. I was in an off-Broadway musical. The director was hard on me. It was tough but a great learning process. He pushed me to get out of my shell. You have to take the advice. Be confident and have fun!'

Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa will get at an exclusive estate on Long Island amongst family and friends this weekend, according to Radar Online. The wedding rehearsal will be held on Friday and will include a roller skating rink, while the wedding will occur on Saturday.

Demi Lovato is expected to be one of the guests [The flower girl?!]. Guests will have a wide range of choices including filet mignon, sea bass, chicken and a vegetable tart. UPDATE: The wedding is at Long Island's Oheka Castle, according to E! Online.

Joe Jonas, 'I'm Learning How To Cook!'

Instead of hitting up the craft services table on the Camp Rock 2 set, Joe Jonas was cooking HIS OWN meals! Joe revealed to BOP: 'I've been learning to cook. My trainer Joey is a great chef and he's teaching me.'

Joe recently cooked fish tacos for Kevin, Nick and the Camp Rock 2 cast: 'It was the first time I cooked for a bunch of people. I kept my cool! They were blown away, especially Nick! Nick was like, 'I can't believe this!''

What is on the menu for Joe's next dinner party? 'Burritos and French toast. My goal is to learn how to make healthier version of French toast. All of it is going to be healthy stuff. Avocado is the key ingredient to all of the tacos.

I love avocado with a little salsa and viggies, like red and green peppers, just give it different colors. And use corn tortillas but no sour cream. I also added salmon, white fish and grilled chicken. It's delicious!

Sources say Deleasa will walk up the aisle in a strapless Vera Wang gown and a headpiece by designer Denise Leli. One source said, "Danielle has gone for a romantic dress and an intricate headpiece with floral details, because when she met Kevin on the beach she was wearing a flower in her hair." Jonas and Deleasa are rumored to be tying the knot among family and friends, including fellow Disney star Demi Lovato, at a private estate on Long Island. Jonas proposed to former hairdresser Deleasa by turning up at her New Jersey doorstep last June with a ring, breaking teen girls hearts worldwide. The two met in the Bahamas in 2007.

From Megan: Last night my friend and I went to the Stevie Wonder show. The Jonas Brothers only played about four songs, one was Superstition with Stevie Wonder. Although it was very short, it was amazing.

After they got off my friend and I left and went around back where they came out. They came over and said hi and took pictures. John Taylor even came out for a minute. We got pictures with all three and Nick and Kevin signed our tickets. They were seriously so nice :)

Exclusive Camp Rock 2 Scoop--straight from Nick Jonas!

Counting down the days ’til the Camp Rock 2 debut? Us, too! But while we’ll continue to have to sit tight until this summer, we just had to dig up some dirt from the flick—straight from cutie patootie Nick Jonas’ mouth!

The new movie, Nick says, has changed a bit from the first one: “In the first one, the music was in the movie. This one, the music tells a story, a bit more like a musical. But it’s a lot better I think.” In summary, the camp has some fierce competition with a new camp across the lake. Kevin rocks out with the junior rockers (including Frankie Jonas!), Nick finds a new love interest (played by Chloe Bridges) and, of course, the romance between Joe and Demi continues…

Nick also spilled on one of his performances in the film: “I have a funny Adam Sandler-type song in the movie,” he dishes to GL. “It'll be really interesting for people to hear it and see what they think because if I hear it without being in the movie, I would be like, 'What is this?' But it works in the movie, and it's a cute moment." How ah-dorable!

We can’t wait for Camp Rock 2, and we know you can’t either. We can’t even wait for Nick’s upcoming January solo tour with The Administration!

Hey guys-Joslyn Davis here for ClevverTV with the latest scoop on Nick Jonas' solo career.

Becoming a solo act probably includes a lot of firsts for Nick Jonas-and today we're dishing about one of them. Official pictures of Nick Jonas and his band were just released and they look amazing.

It's sort of funny to see the youngest JB in a picture with a bunch of other guys who are not his brothers, but at the same time, it's also kind of exciting.

The pictures are black and white and very simple. They feature Nick at the front of an almost pyramid-like formation. He's flanked by the rest of his band members-aka the Administration. Another interesting note-all of his band members look like they are way older than he is---do you guys agree? But this can only mean one thing though-they are probably very talented and experienced.

Nick Jonas' New Song "Rose Garden"

I'm Dana Ward for Clevver TV with the story. So it's pretty clear that Nick wants the world to know that the Jonas Brothers are not breaking up. He definitely reiterated that concept just before performing his latest track live on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. NJ and the Administration - the 3rd brother's side project - released the first official track called "Who I Am" not too long ago and it definitely followed similar suit with JoBro styled songs. But the new song that we're talking about today is called "Rose Garden" and let's just say that it's definitely got some thorns. This track represents an apparent darker, more serious side with its acoustic yet jazzy beats. The lyrics describe a girl from a broken home who works at a flower shop to make money to survive. Specifically, Nick wrote: "She was brought into this world, out of a beautiful mistake, when her mom was just a girl and her daddy didn't stay."

The twist in this whole story is that it's being rumored that Nick wrote the song about his former flame, Selena Gomez. Even though these guys dated - let's just say, awhile back - the rumor could possibly be true, because Nick did basically say that when he started writing "Rose Garden," it was not stylistically a match for the Jonas Brothers.... so that means the Administration was not yet around, so it was not a recent thing. I'm just laying it out for you guys to decide. Straight out, do you think Nick wrote "Rose Garden" about Selena? What's the proof for your case? Nick J 'Not Bad Having Many Female Fans'

Nick Jonas chatted with Daily Record about his solo career and how his brothers are handling it: 'If there's something we disagree on, we'll have a conversation about it. But it's not an immature kind of 'I'm right and I'm gonna be stubborn about it' way. We're open to each other's comments. We have a great respect for each other. And we never forget that we are family. Our common passion is music. That really binds us together.'

Wise words for all X Factor hopefuls: 'I think a lot of younger artists today just try to be famous first and a good musician or actor second. They have their priorities mixed up. Ray Charles once said, 'I don't want to be famous, I just want to be great. That comes close to our mantra in life.

A lot of fans come up to me and say, 'I'm a songwriter. I want to be a musician one day. That's what I love to hear, when somebody says, 'I want to be a musician', 'I want to be an artist', or 'I want to be an actor', as opposed to 'I want to be famous'. When you are whole-hearted about what you do in life, and I've always strived to be the best I can be, that's the attitude you should have.'

On the music he likes: 'I'm a big fan of The Zutons and Kings Of Leon. There is a bunch of bands that I like, but the Kanye West album is really great. And there is this band called Leland who are really wonderful, too.' Nick laughed when asked about having a serious girlfriend: 'At the end of the day, I'm still in high school. And to think that people are interested in my high school relationships is kind of funny. For us, we're very flattered by the fact that we have a lot of female fans. It's not bad. I'm not gonna lie.

I think we consider ourselves normal guys who are doing our best, and that's what we've been saying from the beginning. Live like you're at the bottom even if you're at the top. For us, that just means staying humble and doing your best every day. We're not saying we're perfect. Nobody's perfect, but we're doing our a best. We're just trying to do our best to make our mum proud and to be gentlemen.'

Kevin Jonas is a lucky man, at the age of 22, he is absolutely ready to settle down. He didn’t waste time at clubs or bars searching for the ‘One,’ because he already knew who she was. Kevin told TWIST in the December issue that something inside was telling him, “follow your heart. Danielle’s the one.” Awwww…he is so romantic. In fact, Kevin is enthusiastic for marriage: “I’m so excited, so ready. Starting a life together with the person I’ve always dreamed about is going to be a big thing for me. It’s a big step, but an exciting one. There will be new challenges and new things, I don’t know if anyone can ever say what to expect, but I know it’s going to be amazing. It’s going to be an incredible time for us.”

Danielle has already won over her fiancé with her Italian cooking, according to Kev, “She makes this chicken parm that’s legitimately unbelievable! She makes a good pasta, too. She’s a good hometown Italian girl.” She’s lucky to not only have Kev’s admiration for her but, his families too.

Kevin said, “My dad asked me, ‘Are you sure?,’ and I was like, ‘Absolutely, I know without a shadow of a doubt.’ And my dad was like, ‘Well good, because we love her, too!’ My family’s really taken Danielle in as their own. And it’s been really nice.'”

Nick Jonas: I Want To See The Aliens!

Nick Jonas gives a thumbs up to JJJ backstage just before our interview with him in NYC on Monday afternoon (December 7).

The 17-year-old musician joked with us about why exactly he wants to walk in the President’s shoes one day. Nick shared, “I wanna see if there’s aliens! I mean, secretly, that’s the only reason I want to run for president. I just wanna read the book of secrets and that’s pretty much it. But in all seriousness, I just think walking in his shoes for the day would be an interesting experience and the president a lot of responsibility - a lot on his shoulders. So we’ll see if it actually happens, but it’s kind of a fun little dream right now.”

Nick also shared with JJJ about how he was sure this was the right time to come out with The Administration’s album, saying, “I wasn’t sure at first. It took a lot of ideas, a lot of planning. When we started recording I knew it was time because we had this two-week window. I knew we could get it done in that amount of time, and that in that moment it was something that I was passionate (about), it was in my heart. And that if I waited any more amount of time there probably wouldn’t be another opportunity for me to do it. And so after we recorded it we said, ‘Great, we have this record. Now what do we do with it?’”

Nick Jonas, Chamillionaire To Appear At Fort Hood Event

On December 11, a month after Army Major Nidal Hassan allegedly opened fire on fellow soldiers at a Texas military base, killing 13, the Fort Hood community will come together for a spirit-lifting event that will feature an appearance by Nick Jonas and a performance from Houston rapper Chamillionaire.

The free event, called Fort Hood Community Strong, will take place at Hood Stadium. It is described as a day of "healing, fun and entertainment" aimed at bringing some joy to the more than 349,000 military personnel, family members, retirees and civilian employees who live on the massive base and were impacted by the November 5 shooting.

In addition to a meet-and-greet with military troops and families by Jonas, the day will feature a set from Chamillionaire, an acoustic set from Staind singer Aaron Lewis, a performance from the Zac Brown Band, and appearances by comedian Dana Carvey, actor Gary Sinise, the Houston Texans cheerleaders, Bonzo Crunch the clown, NHRA Army car driver Tony Schumacher and legendary sock puppet Lamb Chop.

Army psychiatrist Hassan, 39, allegedly opened fire on his fellow soldiers last month, killing 13 and wounding at least 30 before being shot four times by a pair of civilian police officers. Hassan, who was paralyzed from the chest down in the shooting, has been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. Attorneys for Hassan have said they Army plans to evaluate the psychiatrist to test his competency to stand trial and his mental state at the time of the shootings.

Nick Jonas maybe not be running for President next year (he’s not old enough), but he still has dreams of waking up in The White House one day.

The 17-year-old musician caught up with MTV to chat about his college plans, The Administration and his funny nickname, Mr. President. Check it:

On furthering his education: “We’ll have to wait and see. The first step to the whole process is going to college and getting that in there. I visited a couple colleges this past summer. It was interesting to see how it would all work out and what the timing would be, but that might be in the future some day.”

On his nickname, Mr. President: “Not so much [fascinated] with politics, but more just about the fascination with the president. The opportunities that we’ve had to go to the White House, the times that I’ve joked about wanting to be president and all that, I’m taking [it] somewhat serious.”

On The Administration’s new songs: “Obviously, I have a lot of time to think about that, but it was something cool to do with this. And it gave me some inspiration, and having a list of a hundred of these things that I could take and make them double meanings…only four of them stuck. ‘Oval Office’ is a song that didn’t sound that cool.”

Nick shared, “It’s a bit overwhelming how much [The Jonas Brothers] have coming up: the second season of the TV show, another world tour next summer… and then some individual projects, like this one. Joe will be doing some movies probably, Kevin’s gonna be busy with some things on his own.”

Nick also added that the fans are welcoming of his ’side project,’ saying, “They [the fans] know it’s something different. They’re looking forward to hearing it, and hearing it with an open mind. [The Administration] will be a lot different than anything I’ve ever done before.”

Nick Jonas Bought Joe’s Christmas Present Already!

Nick Jonas snaps a pic backstage with JJJ after an exclusive interview in NYC on Monday afternoon (December 7).

The 17-year-old musician let us listen to two new tracks off of Nick Jonas & The Administration’s new album, Who I Am. Nick played “Last Time Around,” which is a a Stevie Wonder influenced song with the following sample lyrics: “Don’t forget the fun we had last summer.” He also played “Conspiracy Theory,” a Lenny Kravitz inspired song with the sample lyrics, “The walls are thin and the word is out now.”

Nick also told us about his upcoming Christmas plans. Nick shared, “I think we’ll probably go back to Texas and just be home for the holidays. I got [big brother] Joe a Christmas gift today, actually, so that was the first Christmas gift I’ve purchased. I’ve got to figure out a moment when I can get everybody else something, but it’ll all work out in the end.”

When asked if he could share what he bought Joe, Nick told JJJ, “Joe reads your website! So, I can’t really say because he might find out! But I can tell you it’s something to go along with something he already has.”
