Joe Jonas gets wide-eyed after meeting Paul McCartney at the 2010 Critic’s Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Friday evening (January 15).
The 20-year-old musician suited up for the award show to support lil’ bro Nick and The Administration, who were serving as the house band for the ceremony.
Joe and his musical brothers will be returning to the Houston Rodeo in March with BFF Demi Lovato. He shared with the Houston Chronicle, “I’ve got cowboy boots and a cowboy hat I like to wear when I’m home in Texas. I can’t promise that I’m going to be in boots. We’ll see what my brothers say about that. If they’re for it, I’ll be rocking it full-on. I’ll even have the NASCAR sunglasses — I’m going to go there. You’re not even going to recognize me. I’m probably going to ride bulls while I’m there, too, just to fit in.”

Nick Jonas gives a thumbs up to the cameras as he arrives at the 2010 Critic’s Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Friday evening (January 15).
The 17-year-old musician and The Administration will be serving as house band during tonight’s ceremony and after party. Be sure to check out Nick’s rehearsal pics!
Nick and The Adminstration will be heading to Detroit TOMORROW night to rock out the Fox Theatre. Are you going?
FYI: Nick is wearing a Gianfranco Ferre watch.

Nick Jonas pops up his collar as he rehearses on stage for the 2010 Critic’s Choice Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (January 15).
The 17-year-old musician and his band The Administration will serve as house band during tonight’s ceremony.
Nick revealed to MTV just how the songs were picked for the event, saying, “[The producers of the show and I] work together on this one to come up with a list of songs that I feel comfortable with and that they were comfortable with as well. It’s a big list, but it should be good to see it all come together.”

Nick Jonas & The Administration are all set to play as the house band TONIGHT at the 2010 Critic’s Choice Movie Awards.
The 17-year-old recently caught up with MTV to chat about his second gig as house band for an awards show. Nick shared, “It’s kind of hard to believe it’s coming up so quickly. There’s a lot of songs that I have to learn still, but I’m looking forward to it. It’s an honor to be a part of that show, and knowing that I’m going to be playing it with the band is comforting, considering they are very experienced and they’ve got a pretty good grip on what they’re doing.”
Nick also dished that he’s looking forward to another award show more — the Golden Globes. “‘The Invention of Lying was my favorite movie from this past year. I think that [host] Ricky Gervais is hilarious, and that kind of dry comedy in that film is something that I love.”
The 2010 Critic’s Choice Movie Awards air TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on VH1. Zac Efron and Bailee Madison will also be attendance.

Nick Jonas is just weeks away from seeing his new solo album hit stores and is a bit nervous about it.
The 17-year-old performer dished to MTV News, “I’m feeling it … I’m feeling the vamp-up. It’s exciting. It’s just hard to believe it’s all happening. I’m thankful to everyone who made it possible … not so much nervous. I think once we get closer I might be anxious to see what the response is, but so far it’s been good and that’s encouraging.”
Nick also revealed that his new song “Stay” may be on a bonus edition of the album. He shared, “It might be on a bonus edition. I wrote it a little late to add it to the record now, but you never know what could happen.”

Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers might not be nominated for a Grammy, but they’ll still be there.
The duo, plus Justin Bieber, among the announced presenters for the 2010 Grammy Awards along with Ke$ha and LL Cool J, MTV reports.
Also scheduled to present awards are When In Rome costars Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel plus musicians Norah Jones, Ricky Martin, and Carlos Santana.
The 2010 Grammy Awards will air live @8PM ET/PT on January 31 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will also feature performances from Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift, and Lady Antebellum.
When Nick Jonas walks onstage at the Beacon Theatre, the sound is pure white noise, the sound of 3,000 tween screams ringing around the venue. Theoretically, the crowd is here to see the youngest Jonas’s new project, the Administration—the manifestation of his abiding affection for Minneapolis funk. But the reality, of course, is that the girls are here to see their teen idol; it probably wouldn’t make much difference if Jonas strode onstage dressed as Carmen Miranda and launched into a thrash-metal set.
Or would it? While the Administration is certainly a legit funk outfit, comprising members of Prince’s New Power Generation, the band’s sound is still fairly poppy. There’s some great guitar solo-ing, from both NPG man Sonny Thompson and Jonas himself, but it’s nothing too difficult to digest for JoBros fans. If Jonas wants to move on, he’s making no sudden moves.

Nick Jonas is still reeling from the fact that he has a sister-in-law!
The 17-year-old musician dished to MTV News, “I think I knew eventually it would happen. There’s three of us — well there’s four including Frankie — I knew it would happen eventually. And so it’s good to know it all came together.”
Nick loves having her around, especially at his concerts: “It’s amazing. She’s here … with her whole family and they’re great. I’m so happy to have her [be] a part of our family. It’s kind of hard to believe I’ve got a sister-in-law and it’s wonderful.”
But he still needs a nickname for her! “We just call her Dani. She’s just Dani,” he said.

Nick Jonas cracks a joke with Goom Radio host Zach Sang during an interview over the weekend.
The 17-year-old musician chatted about what he’s really doing when he’s not performing. Nick shared, “Just hanging out with my friends. Bowling…I’m a big baseball fan and missing the season right now. It’s a great place to spend time at.”
Nick also shared about his recent branching out into his own Twitter, saying, “It’s pretty much my close friends [who I follow] and then Chad Ochocinco. (laughs) You’ve gotta be my friend or a professional athlete.”

Nick Jonas gives pal Taylor Swift a shout out before covering her hit single, “You Belong With Me,” during his concert in Philadelphia, Penn., on Saturday night (January 9).
The 17-year-old musician also caught up with MTV News to update how the tour is going so far. Nick shared, “[Thursday] night’s performance at the Beacon was an amazing moment. I was telling people after the show, you can really feel the legends in this place when you’re on that stage. I played a new song that I wrote, ‘Stay,’ that the audience responded well to. It’s just been amazing so far, but [Thursday] night was excellent.”
Nick also commented about his pals who have come out to see him play, saying, “No one that I was surprised to see came out to see me. I’ve got a couple friends in different places … Texas and here in New York. I’ve got a lot of friends and family. It’s just good to know there are people who are supporting me in this dream of mine and taking time out of their evening to come see this show.”

Joe Jonas is all smiles as he meets up with pals at Umami Burger in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (January 10).
The 20-year-old musician has recently been away, following his little brother Nick on his first solo tour.
Joe was spotted out at Planet Hollywood with big bro Kevin and sister-in-law Danielle on Friday night before watching Nick at the Beacon Theater.
Be sure to catch Joe as a guest judge on American Idol — airing Tuesday, January 26.

Joe Jonas sticks out like a third wheel in this cute new pic with newlyweds Kevin and Danielle Jonas as they make a visit to Planet Hollywood in Times Square NYC over the weekend.
According to Popstar! mag, the trio were seated on the main floor and the whole place took notice!
Later in the evening, Kevin and Joe joined lil’ bro Nick on stage for “Please Be Mine” during his concert at the Beacon Theater. Check it out below!
Last month the Jonas clan added a new lady to the family when older brother Kevin married his longtime love Danielle Deleasa at the Oheka Castle in New York's Long Island. Nick said that with four boys in the bunch he was bracing himself for a female to come along sooner or later.
"I think I knew eventually it would happen," he joked when he checked in with MTV News at the Beacon Theater while on tour with the Administration on Friday. "There's three of us — well there's four including Frankie — I knew it would happen eventually. And so it's good to know it all came together."
Deleasa was actually in the crowd at the show, where both Kevin and Joe surprised their little brother onstage, and he thinks it's great that his sister-in-law is coming out to the shows to support her new little brother. "It's amazing," he said. "She's here ... with her whole family and they're great. I'm so happy to have her [be] a part of our family. It's kind of hard to believe I've got a sister-in-law and it's wonderful."
Since all the boys in the Jonas clan have special nicknames (Kevin is "K2," Joe is "Danger," Nick is "Mr. President" and Frankie is "Bonus Jonas"), have they thought up a special moniker for the new lady Jonas? "We just call her Dani," he revealed, adding they haven't thought up a nickname for her just yet. "No, she's just Dani."

There’s just a little less than a month before Nick Jonas & The Administration drop their debut album across the nation.
But the 17-year-old musician just couldn’t wait to share a brand new song (that’s not on the album) with his fans and tweeted the lyrics to his newest masterpiece.
Nick shared, “Played a new song I wrote last night, at the show tonight called ‘Stay.’ Its about fallin’ for someone. I hope you like it when you hear it. One of the lines is… ‘Now that the pain is done, no need to be afraid, we don’t have time to waste, just tell me that you’ll stay — stay. Beautiful, one of a kind. You’re something special babe, and you don’t even realize that your my hearts desire.”

Stars like Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige and Neil Patrick Harris, lent a hand to Kara Dioguardi, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell and helped choose singers who would make it to Hollywood!
Guest judge Victoria Beckham told People she tried to find the best in everyone who auditioned.
“I believe in constructive criticism and I am a very positive person, so I always tried to find something good and helpful to focus on, be it someone’s singing, their looks or their overall style,” Vic said. “Having been a performer, I know how difficult it is to be that person standing there being judged. I didn’t want to trample on people’s dreams.”
American Idol starts up again this Tuesday (January 12) at 8/7c!
Just before the 2009 holidays Kevin Jonas married Danielle Deleasa on December 19, 2009. The pair wed at turn-of-the-century French chateau, Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York on Long Island. It was a fairytale wedding, everything from the snowy blizzard, the magic forest décor, the brides strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang dress, a castle, and glass slippers in the brides size as a gift from her groom.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father, Thomas Deleasa, to the tunes of "Bella Notte," from Lady in the Tramp. "I'm an Italian girl. It just fit me and my dad," said Danielle of the song choice. Kevin was all smiles as his bride approached him and during their vows. Kevin's father Kevin Sr., an ordained minister, officiated along with Danielle's childhood pastor, Rev. Ron DePasquale Jr.
The couple met on family vacations to the Bahamas in 2007. Joe and Nick were co-best men of the wedding. The video of the ceremony and party look so beautiful and fun. Great food, great people, great dancing, all things that make a wonderful wedding.
Nick and Danielle have recently returned from their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas.

We're not even a week into the year 2010, but the new year is already proving to be a good one to Nick Jonas. The buzz on his upcoming album, Nick Jonas & The Administration's Who I Am, out February 2, is only getting stronger. Nick Jonas & The Administration's shows, with soloist Diane Birch, are winning over critics for Nick's solo material and in-the-know covers (Kings Of Leon!). And his brand-new video, "Who I Am," is positioning him as a formidable solo act and the next John Mayer.
So it's almost unfair that Nick Jonas has already accomplished ALL of that -- on top of BEING A JONAS BROTHER! -- while looking as good as he does in these brand-new MTV photos taken when he stopped by to tell us five secrets of Nick Jonas & The Administration. Thankfully, Nick (like any good president), is an excellent multitasker.
